Imagine you are in a river society/kingdom, where you can do as your character desires, from your humble living, to your power hungry ambitions. I suggest making a farm along the fertile river, with as big of a food supply as you can. Along the river are an abundance of animals which can be exploited. Maybe you and your friends all want to be close, with multiple homes and farms you can form a city, and most likely, the person with the most food or weapons would be the chief, or Duke. And would give you the power to do many things such as tax the citizens to make your wealth unmatched, or simply be a pacifistic ruler. Since the map size is relatively small, the person who has the most food/weapons/army in the realm would most likely become the king if he/she spreads influence through the realm. I expect hackers, Griefers, and what comes with the complete freedom of a society. The king may create a large army, or tax his cities to death, or create laws which the citizens must follow, or the society may fall into chaos, and anarchy, or may fall into civil wars. But that is what comes with a society in which the players themselves form. I also wonder if lore religions might be formed inside the server, in which the citizens must convert to, but who knows. A weekly rotating spotlight for vanilla game maps such as building games, parkour maps, and (server compatible) story-based adventure maps to allow players to band together and play through the community-made maps we think are great.
A (mostly) unmonitored, one life only survival world where players can flaunt their survival talents and compete to see who can last the longest against a harsher minecraft world. The world will be available for set periods of times, with any survivors receiving a variety of prizes in the main world. Rules

The server is fairly young and the community has been pretty small so far. There are a several builds and claims close to spawn, but I've been flying around and finding lots of untouched and unvisited territory. There are several ocean ruins that appear on shore too which is interesting. I never take things out of the chests, I want visitors to find them. I have also made a few reading-nooks and survival hidey-holes that I have hidden around the map. Don't be surprised to find a small chest with a bow, arrows, and food just randomly placed between 2 stones. There is a basic plugin management system in place so I can manage and protect the server. Common plugins installed allow you access to Grief Protection (golden shovel claims), tpa, sethome, and more! Try /rtp and find more resources by random teleport! Coming soon - I'm planning to create a little web site with handy links, a discord server, all that mess you typically see associated to servers... but I'm making it all by hand in my spare time because I want a few features that no other server can provide, like maybe a way to subscribe to server events (players join, leave, restarts, acheivements)... we'll see Hosting information:
I have this in the AWS cloud, on an EC2 instance with bursting capabilities. To save money, I only scale up the power when necessary. The server will scale up with community size so that lag will be mitigated as soon as possible. Report lag using /mail (to mt2m) or email (to [mt2mgames@gmail.com](mailto:mt2mgames@gmail.com)) so I can track lag reports.
