There are ladders in villager houses. Why can't they villagers use them? Posted: 13 May 2019 07:05 AM PDT It doesn't make a lot of sense that there's ladders deliberately added to villager houses (at least, some of them), but the villagers themselves cannot utilize them. Posted: 12 May 2019 06:16 PM PDT Dropped by Endermen when killed by charged Creepers. When worn, players can look at Endermen without angering them and see what Endermen see when in first person view (for balance) If a player looks at a placed Enderman head, the head will give off a redstone signal with a strength of 15 MINUS player's distance from head. This way, the signal strength diminishes as you stray further from the head. (15 is the max redstone wire strength) [link] [comments]
Villagers Sleeping in End or Nether should make the Bed Explode Posted: 13 May 2019 08:45 AM PDT I think this could make some interesting machines in some way, plus it just makes sense (well Minecraft sense atleast.) [link] [comments]
Bells can be attached to cows. Posted: 13 May 2019 01:50 PM PDT Right-clicking a cow with a bell attaches a bell to it. The bell will jingle softly when the cow walks. When the cow runs, it jingles loudly. A distinctive jingle sounds when the cow is hurt. The bell drops when the cow dies. This could be a way to tag and keep track of your favorite cow, amongst a large crowd of cows. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 May 2019 12:11 PM PDT If you throw your trident with Loyalty, but pick up an item before it comes back to you, your trident will either end up on the ground, or will end up in your inventory instead of your hot bar. This is a QoL fix that makes tridents more enjoyable to use. Throwing a trident if your underwater and then going to the surface for air means you will likely pick up some rotten flesh from other drowned you have killed, meaning you have to open your inventory, to fix it, while your under attack from drowned with tridents. This placeholder item could just be the outline of the trident, that lets you only pick up tridents in that slot. If your throw your Trident into an area where it cant comeback with loyality, the void for example, you can right click with the placeholder in your hand and it vanishes, allowing you to pick up items in that slot again. If you accidentally right click with the place holder in hand, don't worry as the trident will still comeback to you like normal but you might just pick up an item on accident. Nothing is more irritating than having to shuffle in your inventory while fighting Trident Drowned because you accidentally picked up some rotten flesh from another drowned you previously killed, and then dying because of it. Posted: 13 May 2019 03:02 PM PDT We got swords, tridents, and crossbows, but why not spells? You can craft a spellbook using leather, 3 paper, eye of ender, and 2 diamonds. It does nothing, but you can "add" something to it to turn it into a book with the spell. For example: a blaze rod crafted with the spellbook template will create a book that can cast fireballs. Spellbooks can be used as many times as you like, but have cooldown for each spell casted. Also only one spell can be on a spellbook. What do you think about this? Do ya have any suggestions to spells? [link] [comments]
Why not improve Tridents as a weapon: Coral Corruption, a new Enchantment. Posted: 13 May 2019 02:45 PM PDT Coral Corruption would be a new Trident Enchantment that would act as a new Damage Enchantment. This works by applying a new Effect, Coral Corruption, to your target, when you attack them in Melee, Ranged, or with Riptide.. This damages the Mob/Player, regardless of type, and deals 1.5 Hearts of Damage in 3 Seconds. It has a Second level, dealing 2.5 Hearts in 5 Seconds. This also conflicts with Impaling, so you can either have a more general Enchantment that does less damage, or a more specified Enchantment that does more damage. I believe this should be added because the Trident is currently lacking in Enchantments and is currently not on par with the Diamond Sword as a Weapon, although it more than defeats it as a tool. (I also posted this on the Feedback Site, so vote for it there if you want this to be added. Remember, you have to wait a few days so it can be improved! https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360043485431-A-new-Trident-Enchantment-Coral-Corruption) [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 May 2019 01:01 PM PDT I believe that the new bell block should be included into the note block family by the effect of having higher and lower tones when activated. this would be decided by the tone of the note block underneath it or instead the note block, when place on top of a bell, will mimic the sound of a bell allowing the tone to be changed higher or lower by adjusting the pitch of the note block. Additionally (as mentioned by someone in a previous post which I appologize for not knowing the name of) depending on the block underneath the bell, be it wood, sand, obsidian, and so on, the sound of the bell should be altered just like it is for a note block. This would give musical creations so many more options! [link] [comments]
If on the ground for long enough, chicken eggs can hatch baby chickens Posted: 13 May 2019 03:18 PM PDT Seems weird that turtle eggs have this exclusive feature to me, so here's my pitch. For realism, it seems fitting that chicken eggs (over the period of at least a couple days) can spawn a baby chicken. While it could end there, think of fun possibilities that could follow. Maybe the parents could stay close to the eggs until they spawn (maybe even gay slightly hostile and deal half a heart of damage if the player gets too close), which could be cute. I wouldn't think that this would make throwing eggs for a chance to spawn a baby chicken less redundant since you could either wait longer for a baby chicken or have the chance of one instantly. I doubt that this would be a game changer in any way (considering it's chickens) but let me know any thoughts about this! [link] [comments]
Plucking sweet berries should always gravitate the item towards you. Posted: 12 May 2019 06:36 PM PDT I farm sweet berries for the heck of it and I'm sick and tired of having to go into the bush to collect the berry. It just makes sense, as well as being useful. Edit: I guess this is already a thing on Bedrock? I'm a Java player, and would like to see this feature come to Java. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 May 2019 01:43 PM PDT I propose a new update about teeth! All mobs have teeth, including the player! There will be new items called toothbrush and toothpaste! Overtime, you teeth start to decay, making eating food take longer and longer, and less effective. Eating will speed up this process. To undo this, you must brush your teeth twice a day, and floss once a day. You can use string to floss your teeth. To make things more fair, other mobs also brush and floss their teeth! If you neglect your teeth too much, they might just fall out and you can. no longer eat. Villages will have a new building called a dentist office, where you come in and check your teeth. If your teeth have cavities, you must come in soon or your teeth falls out! When villages take care of you're teeth, you can watch them use their tools. Sometimes, the player takes some damage and kicks around and screams! After you visit the dentist office, the dentist gives you a lollipop, which gives you 5 hearts, and speeds up tooth decay. Braces: Sometime's you teeth are not straight, which in the future, you will experience jaw pain. In Minecraft, if the player's teeth are not straight, overtime the player will take damage everytime he/she eats food, but still restores hunger. This can be stopped by making the player wear braces for a couple Minecraft weeks. If the player eats an apple, the braces will break and the braces process restarts. [link] [comments]
Horses? Nah. Llamas? No thanks. Let’s bring in Elephants! Posted: 12 May 2019 08:56 PM PDT Elephants are a passive mob rarely found in groups of two or three in the Savanna biome. They are the passive mob with the most health in the game, at 80 health (40 hearts.) Elephants themselves are massive mobs. An adult elephant is almost 4 blocks tall, and a baby is roughly the size of a pig. Elephants can be tamed and bred using any kind of sapling. Once tamed, you can slap a saddle on their back and ride them freely. Elephants can also hold a chest's worth of inventory space. They can be decorated using carpets, in a way similar to a llama. Elephants have no unique drops. I don't want to support hunting real life elephants! Elephants are rather slow, barely able to keep pace with a zombie. However, their main purpose is to be used as a combat-oriented mount. Their absurd height and massive health pool give the master a noticeable advantage when fighting unmounted opponents. Posted: 13 May 2019 09:42 AM PDT Have you ever wanted to heal your pets with food, but they breed when they are done? Well with pet treats they will heal and not breed when fed. Maybe it could also give a buff to the pets? Or maybe make all pets playful? (Yes I know you could just use a potion, but I think it would be a cool thing to be able to feed your pets without having them breed) EDIT: the treats could be fed to any animal that can be bred. I.E. Cows, sheep, foxes, pandas Etc etc. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 May 2019 01:13 PM PDT It's kind of hard to explain, so I made an unlisted video (I apologize for the realm's name, my friends are a bit taboo). As you can see in the video, I highlight the realm to join it, but then once I am rejected to join, I am brought back to the list of realms. This is problematic because someone could accidentally leave the wrong realm or something if they don't know which one is highlighted. It's a small bug, but I think for consistency purposes, light needs to be shown upon it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 May 2019 12:53 PM PDT Totally flat biome with a top layer of salt blocks. Salt can be broken into salt piles which can be used to salt cod, make pretzels, or alchemy. Examples on earth include the Salar de Uyuni of Bolivia, Atacama flats in Chile, or Bonneville flats of Utah USA. https://www.gochile.cl/fotos/full/106562-10525555_981197595267185_7783138974584524459_n.jpg [link] [comments]
Breaking Stone Slabs/Stairs should drop Cobblestone Slabs/Stairs when broken Posted: 13 May 2019 12:39 PM PDT I feel like this just makes more sense then stone slabs/stairs dropping themselves, since breaking regular stone drops stone. [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 May 2019 07:35 PM PDT Amulets are a new equip-able item that gives you give you small perks. Only one amulet could be worn at one time. There would be a slot that is for amulets Crafting:
This would give you an empty amulet, empty amulets are used to create actual amulets that give you perks Craftable amuletsLucky Amulet Crafted with an empty amulet and a rabbit's foot (shapeless recipe), wearing this would give you the luck effect. In case you don't know, the luck effect is already in the game, and would increase the chance of good loot in chests. Has infinite durability. Ocean core amulet By combining an empty amulet and a heart of the sea, you would get an ocean core amulet. Wearing this would allow you to swim 10% faster in water and all ocean mobs would deal 30% less damage to you. Has 270 durability, each hit from an ocean mob = -1 durability. Nether core amulet Crafted using a Nether star and an empty amulet. Wearing this would make lava a bit translucent, more like water. This would also give you fire resistance for 10 seconds when you touch a body of lava. Think of the turtle shell, but for lava instead Uncraftable amuletsCurse of vulnerability A cursed amulet. Would automatically equip itself when put in your inventory unless the amulet slot is already taken. Wearing this would increase all damage taken by 10% Would be destroyed after death or after Amulet of health only gotten via trading with an armorer villager, would only appear if the villager is maxed. Gives you regeneration Iwhen below 8 hearts and regeneration II when below 3 hearts [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 May 2019 11:52 PM PDT Redstone resistor, it allows you to decrease and increase the signal strength of a piece of redstone dust at will (like a comparator but better and cannot power blocks) Redstone light detector-emits a signal strength equivalent to the light level of the block (similar to daylight sensor) Redstone wire- similar to redstone dust but can only transmit a signal from the front and the back, not from the sides (allows for more compact designs) [link] [comments] |
