(Although we run Papermc {paperspigot}; We strive to make the server feel as Vanilla as possible. We're a server inspired by HermitCraft/SciCraft/Mindcrack etc. We use polls to add things through datapacks/command blocks only. We only have plugins for optimization/security reasons. For example: we have added recipes which once were....the craftable Notch apple (Enchanted Golden Apple). But we're not like those other servers... We started a never-reset map (with due exception of The End dimension) on November 25, 2017. We have had 2 spawn locations since, and currently on our 3rd spawn location. Currently, we're a tad bit short on members as we've just started, but we're hoping to have more very soon. The server does have a whitelist, so that does mean that anyone wanting to join will have to fill out a small application, but that is only to promote a relaxed environment where everyone can just kick back and have fun. Hosted in the Eastern US, the server began on 5/25/2019 and will never be reset. Hacked clients are allowed, and the only plugin we have is for announcements. However, creating lag machines will result in a ban because they ruin the fun for everyone else. They are such a problem that I may even create a plugin that prevents people from making them just for this server. Our community is pretty small at the moment, but I'm hoping to find more players that are interested in barebones servers like this. It functions with no rules whatsoever, and has no anti cheat. To keep it as pure, vanilla anarchy as possible, there are no home commands, spawn protection, or TP commands. There will be as few bans as possible, with lag machines and duping being perfectly acceptable (to an extent; we want to keep the server running.) Back doors will be patched, and OP gear the likes of 32k weapons may be disabled if they are spawned in, but these will not result in bans.
