Snow Golems should survive in hot biomes if they are standing on an ice block Posted: 21 Jun 2019 11:10 AM PDT Currently, Snow Golems will "melt" in hot biomes but I propose that if you keep them on ice, so to speak, they won't die. Maybe even extend it to any "cold" block so snow, ice, packed ice, and blue ice would all keep the snow Golems feeling frosty. This change would make them usable in a larger variety of applications. Posted: 21 Jun 2019 04:58 AM PDT mobs killed that way should drop xp, and if you kill a player that way a special death message also pops up, something like "vicitm tried to hug killer's Creeper" [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jun 2019 02:52 AM PDT Have you ever been mining obsidian and then accidentally let go of the key and have to start again? We've all been there so I think the damage done to a block should remain for 3 seconds if you leave before it finished. [link] [comments] |
Adding More Functionality to Items Posted: 21 Jun 2019 11:41 AM PDT Blaze Powder - Can be placed on the ground like redstone and does damage if stepped on. Blaze Rod - Inflicts a minor fire effect on entities you hit it with. Brick/Nether Brick - Does damage to entities based on how far it falls when dropped. Clay - Can be thrown like snowballs and slows down entities for 2 seconds. Dragon's Breath - Can be consumed, which causes you to breathe acid for 5 seconds, although this does take away 3 hearts from you. Fermented Spider Eye - Can be consumed, which reverses all potion effects that are on you. Glistening Melon - Can be consumed, which heals 1/2-1 hearts. Glowstone Dust - Can be placed on the ground like redstone and emits 2 blocks of light. Ghast Tear - Can be consumed for 2 seconds of regeneration. Gunpowder - Can be placed on the ground like redstone and acts as a fuse when lit. Slimeball - Can be thrown like snowballs and knocks back entities farther than snowballs. Shulker Shell - Can be worn as a helmet with the protection of iron. Rabbit's Foot - Gives Luck temporarily if held in your offhand, only works once in a while. Magma Cream - Can be thrown like snowballs and sets entities on fire. This would add more utility to items and make the game more interesting, as well as just being fun. What do you think? When bonemealing sand, dead bushes and dead flowers are grown to make them renewable. Posted: 21 Jun 2019 08:16 AM PDT Right now dead bushes are non-renewable, so the player is never able to get large amounts of them unless they go to different deserts to farm the already generated ones. As well as dead bushes, the player would also get a new block that's a flower, but dead. It would look withered and dry like the dead bushes to allow for more desert decoration. It would be easy to get an excuse to add this as the biome vote from last year included deserts as one of the options. [link] [comments] |
Leatherworker Villager should trade leather armour items for leather Posted: 21 Jun 2019 02:54 AM PDT Do you have a zombie farm? are all of your chests filled with useless leather armour? Don't you just wish you could sell the leather gear for something else? Why don't leatherworker villagers buy the leather items for emeralds, or even better, exchange it for actual leather? it would certainly make the leatherworker villager more useful to have in your trading hall.. Make the ender dragon stronger every time you resummon it. Posted: 21 Jun 2019 11:51 AM PDT Give it like 20 level like the 20 maximum gateways . Each time the dragon has more health, more damage and is faster. Maybe give it more attacks for the stongest levels and less time just standing still above the portal making it easy target. Posted: 21 Jun 2019 09:43 AM PDT Hello. I've seen a load of horse colors in Minecraft, and they all look gorgeous. HoweverI feel like Mojang forgot two variations: the dun and the palomino. Would be nice if Minecraft had them too. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jun 2019 08:50 AM PDT So, im a designer (not that known) but I love using glowstone or sea lantern bloks to light up. But one of the texture packs i have is making glowstone smooth looking. (Soft Glowstone Texture - From Kingdoms Texture Pack. Author Welsknight). Could this be a block we could add into minecraft but that you have to craft it like this (How to Craft it) ? Im greatfull for all replies. But only the good ones [link] [comments] |

Posted: 21 Jun 2019 06:22 AM PDT Since the new 1.14 update added new food related things like campfires, smokers, and suspicious stew, to keep with the food theme, I suggest that bread and eggs get an update 1: Bread and other wheat related food items now made of dough. Dough: made in crafting table with 8 wheat surrounding a bottle/bucket of water. When crafted, the bottle/bucket is emptied, and 8 dough balls are crafted. 4 of these balls can be made into a clump of dough A loaf of bread is made by baking a clump of dough in a furnace or the smoker oven thing. (makes more sense). pumpkin pie, cake, cookies, would use dough balls instead of wheat. The new loaf of bread, although more difficult to make, has better stats: replenishes 8 hunger and 7.2 saturation. It can also be crafted into 4 slices of bread. each slice replenishes 2 hunger and 1.8 saturation (i'll get to slices later) 2. Eggs. Everyone who has made a chicken farm has inevitably had a billion eggs and they don't know what to do with them. How about you can use them to make egg toast. Just hear me out. Up to sixteen eggs will go into a furnace or smoker oven. They will be cooked into fried eggs you can eat. I know this sounds OP, but these fried eggs can only be stacked up to 16, like normal eggs. They also only replenish 2 hunger and 1.2 saturation. However, they can be crafted with a slice of toast to make egg toast, which can be stacked up to 64. Egg toast's stats are + 4 hunger and +3 saturation. This balances the easy to get fried eggs with the harder to get bread, and makes cooking more realistic. Also gives players a reason to make bread. The dough item also leaves room for future food additions. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jun 2019 06:07 AM PDT Range is an enchantment which gives the axe a longer range for fighting and chopping down trees. Range goes from lvl 1 to lvl 5. [link] [comments] |
Putting a name tag on a creeper will make it neutral. Posted: 21 Jun 2019 01:14 PM PDT Putting a name tag on a creeper will cause it to no longer go after players and explode. If attacked however, they will turn hostile, similar to spiders during the day. This would be useful for map makers and could be a fun feature in survival, and a cool way to weaponize creepers. Invisible rails should be added but only obtainable via /give Posted: 21 Jun 2019 07:43 AM PDT It could be seen if you hold the invisible rail block (similarly to barriers), you could fall through them if they end up floating (just like normal rails in game), and would be a good addition for mapmakers. Posted: 21 Jun 2019 02:58 AM PDT Hello. I know that light sources are supposed to melt ice, but what about one kind of them that actually can even create ice? Their behaviour: When they're placed in water in the cold biomes, after some time, they'll be surrounded by 2 rows of ice (12 ice blocks) When they're placedin the normally tempered biomes, they create one row of ice around them (4 blocks) When placed in deserts and jungles in water, nothing happens. If they are placed on the ground, after some time they create a layer of snow around them in the same way as they do with ice.in water. If they're placed in the Nether, they evaporate after some time and drop one prismarine crystal. If they suround a Snow Golem in the desert, it won't die. Crafting recipe: 1 prismarine crystal in the middle and either blue, packed or normal ice around them, color depending on the ice used. I'd even go as far as to add patterns depending on how you placed what kind of ice. I came up with this because I'm struggling with the lightning when building with ice and snow. [link] [comments] |
Give the librarian an actual hat instead of a book on its head Posted: 21 Jun 2019 11:21 AM PDT The librarian currently has a book on its head and I think it should be given an actual hat like other villagers that have hats. [link] [comments] |
Cats can respawn on the player's bed if they die Posted: 21 Jun 2019 02:56 PM PDT I mean, they already sleep on beds so it'd make sense for them to respawn there. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jun 2019 07:39 AM PDT PRIMARY COLORS
SECONDARY COLORS
TERTIARY COLORS
BROWN
SHADES
Now, I know what you are saying: "That's WAY too many colors! How are Mojang gonna make ALL those textures?!" Well, I proposed a solution. - Things like Wool, Terracotta, Glass, Armor, Text, Fireworks, Banners, Shulker Boxes, Concrete Powder, Concrete, and Beds would be as simple as changing the color value of the block or item. - The tricky ones would be Glazed Terracotta and Dye item textures. So I say that a light or a dark version of a dye has the same texture as the original dye but lighter/darker in color. Same for Glazed Terracotta. That way, you would only need to create new textures of Vermillion, Violet, and Goldenrod! - I would think Vermillion to be a light orange-reddish block with red cracks running through it in a delicate pattern, Violet to look like an HD version of the "Missing Item" texture, and Goldenrod to have a royal, bejeweled design. A tag that allows an armor to have different protection enchantments stacked together. Posted: 21 Jun 2019 07:37 AM PDT This is about the change in 1.14.3 where they will revert the ability to create 'god armor' (protection, blast prot, projectile prot, and fire prot combined; introduced in 1.14-1.14.2). I think the game can benefit somewhat from having this type of armor. The way mojang see it however, it's probably way too overpowered, since people have created these god armor through exploitative means like afk fishing. In my opinion this is a missed opportunity for giving players great end game materials. Maybe there can be a new tag that allows what type of enchantments can stack on top of one another, and these type of armor can generate normally in end city chests, the highest of item tier loots. It'll also encourage players to be more active on finding loot and not sit on an afk farm to get high tier items. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jun 2019 01:20 PM PDT As a new weapon a glaive would work really well in Minecraft. For those who don't know, a glaive is a spear used for slicing instead of stabbing. Mojang doesn't add spears because a bunch of mods already have them, but I've never seen a mods which adds glaives. Along with that they wouldn't look weird with the attack animation like the trident does. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jun 2019 02:32 AM PDT Elephants would be a nice way to transport a massive amount of goods from one place to another. Of course they'd be extremely big and pretty slow, just to balance out the amount of items they can transport. They can carry two kinds of baskets on their backs. The player basket and the item basket. The player can sit in the player basket and control the elephant. The item basket is for the items. It has an inventory of a double chest. The elephants don't automatically form caravanes like llamas do, when one tamed llama is on a lead, but they can be connected with eatch other with leads. These connections however can break however if the way is not straight and big, so such elephant caravanes are better used on when you built a storage with trading items near a village, and need to transport them from your main.storage house to that mini house. Please let me know if you know ways to make it better.^ Edit: the elephants don't even have to be 4 blocks tall, they could have about the size of the ravager, but half a block taller and one block shorter in the lenght. We should add a nether portal-like structure Posted: 20 Jun 2019 06:00 PM PDT I've noticed that there is nothing in the game that teaches players to build a nether portal. If we add some kind of structure that features an unfinished portal, with some kind of guide on how to fix it, it would help new or returning players who forgot. It would feature some rough pillars made of nether blocks, and up to 2 chests, featuring more nether blocks in both, a flint and steel, and obsidian in the other, just to hint at how to fix the portal. A random nether mob will spawn near each pillar, but only once, otherwise it will be exploited. The combination of all these elements will definitely make players at least consider this to be a portal to another dimension. Original idea by SystemZee [link] [comments] |
Using bone meal on tree leaves should allow it to grow apples Posted: 20 Jun 2019 06:30 PM PDT The leaves would still have to be attached to the wood. Also, I imagine it being like berry bushes, but requiring bone meal in order to grow anything. [link] [comments] |
