Pillagers should get atacked by a zombies too

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 05:09 AM PDT

All raiders (pillagers, witchs... Exept ravengers) should get atacked by a zombies because they look like humans. Ravengers should kill zombies to protect their comrades.

    Devil's horns

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 04:16 AM PDT

Just a naturally generated feature made up of cobblestone and andesite that is shaped like a devil's horn. Nothing actually evil about it, just plain o'l rock sitting there.

Mobs harvesting grass in their own ways.

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 01:33 PM PDT

"What am I talking about" you may ask. Well, sheep eat the grass and change it to dirt. It's similar to trampling grass, but speed and distance doesn't affect it. I have some other ideas on grass interaction.

    Grass => Dirt

    • Pig: Pigs could roll on the ground occasionally and change the grass to dirt, or, in certain biomes, coarse dirt. They could also do this on sand and make a small cloud of dust around them, but that would change anything.

    • Cow: Cows eat grass in real life, why not in Minecraft?

    • Chicken: If chickens eat seeds, surely they eat grass. It'll probably take a while though.

    • Horse: Horse do NOT eat grass, but maybe if a horse walks over a block for a while, it turns it into path or dirt? Maybe it would be a higher chance in rain.

    • Killer Bunny (even if only command summonable): The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog is only accessible through summoning commands, but maybe it could have a bit more functionality. Since it's so powerful, and it's den in Monty Python seems to have little to no grass around it, maybe it turns grass into coarse dirt?

    • Ravager: Perhaps Ravagers could trample grass like they trample crops?

    Grass => Other

    • Mooshroom: Maybe Mooshrooms, if they stand on a block of grass for too long, turn the grass into Mycelium? Of course, this wouldn't go through boats, but it could have some fun uses.

Criticism is welcome in the comments, but complaints are not. And remember, the downvote arrow is not a disagree button.

Riptide + Channeling creates a trail of lightning behind you when you trident dash.

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 08:17 AM PDT

It would be purely aesthetic, just thought it would be a neat little feature to make Tridents more exciting.

    Desert Foxes

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 04:08 PM PDT

Desert foxes would have a sand likely color, would hunt for rabbits and their heads would be get stuck in the sand if they would do a jump attack, just like snow foxes.

    New Paths

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 03:23 AM PDT

This post is about Grass Paths. I absolutely HATE them. The idea is cool, but I hate their color, it looks like ill or dead grass to me. BUT, a lot of people love it as it is. So I figured we could have different Path blocks to please everyone and bring more diversity to villages and other builds.

What would probably be good in addition of Grass Paths :

    Dirt Path

    Coarse Dirt Path

    Gravel Path

    What might be cool :

    Podzol Path

    Mycelium Path

    Sand Path

    Red Sand Path

What could be nice maybe ? :

Snow Path (what would it look like tho ?)

Soul Sand Path (maybe no slowing effect ?)

Concrete Powder Path (would be a hell lot of new blocks)

That's it, that's the whole post. That wasn't very high effort, and I don't have any first designs to show you. But I wanted to know if people felt the same about Grass Paths and possible new ones :-)

How about a bamboo sleeping matt, an alternative to a bed?

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 01:20 PM PDT

It would just be a simple sleeping Matt but made out of bamboo, it works just like a bed so you can sleep on it and everything. Currently I believe bamboo is under used right now and even adding an extra use may help. I feel like the crafting recipe will be just like a bed except bamboo and perhaps instead of wool, perhaps it will be leaf blocks instead? What do you guys think?

You should be able to dye item frames

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 04:14 AM PDT

The title says it all really. I think this could either be done by dying it in the crafting table or right clicking with the dye. It just adds a simple detail and when using item frames they can fit into many more situations.

Rhinos, giraffes and elephants as some savana mobs

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 02:56 AM PDT

I feel like Savanas are kind of empty and need something to bring them to life, and if they just had some Neutral or passive mobs such as Elephants and Rhinos it would really make it feel more alive and like their not just an plains biome with weird trees. They could just drop normal things such as grass or leaves and just wander around.

Or even Elephants could be tameable and rideable as a new transport mob that could carry large amounts of items.

Savanna instead of pigs should have warthogs

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 10:14 AM PDT

Pigs are ok but if the savanna had warthogs it would change the environment of the savanna.

    1. You can breed warthogs.

    2. When the player shows a weapon near the warthog the warthog will charge to the player.

    3. warthogs would drop pork chop and have a low percentage of dropping a horn.

I don't really know what use they could have for the horn , give me your ideas

Freshly built iron golems shouln’t have flowers on them

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 01:16 AM PDT

Village spawned iron golems have flowers and vines on them because they've been there for a while and got overgrown and stuff. So when a player builds a golem, it doesn't really make sense for them to be overgrown straight away. Maybe after walking around for a while they grow some (2-3 growth stages?). I don't know it just made sense to me.

Edible fermented spider eyes that change currently applied potion effects to their opposite counterparts, but also reducing the potion duration in doing so

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 03:56 AM PDT

Fermented spider eyes would also have a cooldown after eating, providing nausea and poison which don't get changed upon eating more. Beacon effects and effects with no obvious counterpart will also not be changed.

Speed would get changed into slowness, and likewise, Strength changed to weakness, likewise, and etc.

All stone variants should be interchangeable.

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 03:02 PM PDT

Lets be real, in survival, granite, diorite, and andesite are completely useless. all they do is just take up space. its not even that big of a change, just do what theyve done with wood for however long and apply it to stone.

    Enchantments and curses: a mix

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 01:02 PM PDT

A hex is a mix between an enchantment and a curse.

They come in randomized loot and can be too painful but too good to endure.

    Example:

Hex of thunderplate Lightning is very likely to hit you in storms; small chance to strike you while weather clear or rain. But also gives protection 3 and stacks with protection.

Hex of teleportation Enderpearls don't hurt you and chorus fruits teleport you 3 blocks ahead of where you're looking But has a chance of teleporting you ramdonly without using them.

    Something similar to mimics

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 04:42 PM PDT

These could be chest-like creatures that when killed will drop a lot of loot. Most of the loot could be new items in recent updates for players playing in older worlds.

Ender Dragon Death Beams as a Particle Effect

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 09:04 AM PDT

The death effect (subtract the dragon, rising, explosions, and sound) should be added to the game for mapmakers to use as a particle effect. It should go something like this: "/particle dragon_beams" and the effect should be shrunken to the same size of flash particles. You should be able to resize it by using the delta coordinates. It would just be the purple light beams that come out of the dying ender dragon.

This would be good for maps that involve energy cores, subspace portals, and more! I would like to use it in a future build of mine. Tell me what you think!

Add an option to disable double-tap-to-sprint

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 09:35 AM PDT

I've been playing a solo survival world for a few weeks getting back into Minecraft after a break that started just before the new swim mechanics were added.

    HOLY CRAP THIS IS FRUSTRATING!

Every few minutes I accidentally go into swim mode when I'm trying to place blocks, and it takes several minutes to get out of it. Please, Mojang, let me disable double-tap-to-sprint. It's a massive headache!

edit: Some of the replies show a distinct lack of reading comprehension or familiarity with the game, so I'll spell it out. I know there is a customizable button to sprint. There is also the "feature" of double-tapping your forward motion button to sprint, which cannot be disabled. I suggest an option to disable this second thing, because it keeps triggering the swim animation when I just want to build underwater without my crosshair jumping around.

    1.15 ideas

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 09:28 AM PDT

    1. bamboo planks:
    • bamboo is a type of wood and I think it should have its plank, stair, slab, fence, fence gate and more!
    • it should look like normal wood but very light with a hint of yellow
    1. new dessert temple:
    • a new type of dessert temple with a new boss I just what a dessert needs (i did make this on my minecraft world but I am unable to post pictures)
    1. bees and honey:
    • bees would bee (im sorry) a nice new feature:
    • bees could spawn naturally around forest biomes in a new block called a beehive
    • by right-clicking on a beehive you will get an item called honey by placing honey in a 2-2 formation in a crafting table you will get a Honeyball, this does all the same things that a slimeball will do, by placing a Honeyball in a 3-3 crafting formation you will get a honey block and again it will do all the things that a slime block will do.
    • by placing honey blocks in a 4-4 formation you will get packed honey the same goes for slime

so these are some of the ideas I came up with i hope you enjoyed them

    Zombie horses spawn in neather

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 04:08 PM PDT

Currently its impossible to get a zombie horse. And I think making them spawn in the neather is a good idea because it is the underworld of minecraft it would only make sense to find them there.

    1.15 should add bee hives

    Posted: 14 Aug 2019 10:14 PM PDT

It should just be a block that's generates in trees in forest biomes

The block shouldn't spawn something like a bee mob but instead just have a particle effect like an ender chest

When the block is broken it should make the particles swarm around the player and damage them until the player is submerged in water or dies

The block should give an item when interacted with like maybe if you use a bottle on it, it would give you a bottle of honey which could give a healing effect but make nearby bee hive aggressive or if it's hit with a sword it could give you honey comb which does the same thing

    Useful polar bears

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 07:44 AM PDT

If polar bears were breedable and attacked every mob that got close to it's cub(not just the player), they would have purpose in the game. They could be used for mob farms, defense, etc.

    Desert Eagles and Lizards

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 06:25 AM PDT

So I feel like the desert is getting a little bland. Then the idea came to my head that there should be eagles and lizards, the lizards could stop tails which are used for brewery and the eagles can hunt the lizards and also take the players dropped items. It'd make the desert more fun and wild than it is at the moment.

Suggestion about shaders on bedrock and consoles.

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 09:29 AM PDT

We've all heard now that the super Duper Graphics Pack has now been cancelled. For most, this was the best hope for having shaders on console.

With its development being discontinued, the devs should allow the player base to download shaders in the marketplace on bedrock and allow pc shader packs to be ported over like texture packs were.

The community can fix the years of broken promises laid out by the team. It worked for Skyrim, most notably, and other titles.
