I am a lover of both Minecraft and Skyrim and around four months back I started working on my server. The aim is to create a loose representation of Skyrim within Minecraft. I am now at the stage where the server is ready for players to start playing while the work continues on building Skyrim. At present, the towns that have been completed include Whiterun (spawn), Riverwood (server shop's), Helgen (portal's) Winterhold (part build). Future plans are to build Solitude, Dawnstar, Windhelm. Now I could wait to open the server when all the towns have been built but that is way further into the future. The main features of the server include Survival, Skyblock, Skygrid, Caveblock, Creative (donators), TNTrun, Bank (weekly interest on money and exp banked), MCMMO, Themed weapons, tools and armors, Themed ranks, Mob hunting, Heads, Jobs and Grief prevention. Server Rules:- Do not grief or steal from other members.- Do not threaten other community members.- Do not harass or bully other community members.- Do not use client-side mods that give unfair advantages(Contact staff if unsure if your mod is allowed or not.)- Absolutely no hacking, xray resource packs, or hacked clients on our servers.- Do not advertise, spam, or intentionally lag/crash our servers.- Only PVP is allowed in designated areas, or outside of these areas if agreed upon before hand.- Do not be excessively toxic or flame other members. If you feel like there is something wrong, contact our staff team!- Alternate accounts are not allowed, do not use them.- Do not abuse known Minecraft exploits. This includes but not limited to duping, zero ticking, etc. Going above the nether roof is allowed, ask if you're unsure.- Keep all mob farms minimal to keep server lag down, laggy mob farms will get killed.- Entity spamming will get you banned. The World: Liberty Minecraft's world is 7000 x 7000 blocks; about 19 square miles, roughly the size of Manhattan Island, New York. The Nether is the same size as the Over World. The End is 10x larger. Updates: Player donations are reinvested in custom content and Dev work. Liberty Minecraft funded the development of AntiXray for PaperMC, GPRealEstate, Liberty Referrals, ClaimblockAdjuster, and ClaimlistClassifier which includes: ClaimNames, ClaimSorting, ClaimExpireDelay. Right now we are developing Auctions for GPRealEstate. This week we created a bounty to identify the cause of a recent bug in PaperMC. Money: In Liberty Minecraft Diamonds are money. All of the money is produced or discovered by our players. There are a finite number of Diamonds in our world. If you throw a diamond into lava then less money will exist in the world. Players can split their diamond into $10,000 at the Diamond exchange located at spawn. Property: All resources and products are created by the players. All prices are set by supply and demand. Players own property and trade it. No one may use your property without your consent. This includes your player character. You may engage in combat by turning it on. Economics: Our Economy is Real. All Items are player created or discovered. The money is Diamonds. In 2018 our players engaged in more than 100,000 transactions. Our world has several competing market places that are privately owned by the players. More than 15,000 hours have been played in the last 5 months. History: Liberty Minecraft was created in December 2015 after I saw and experienced what happens when an incompetent or corrupt server operator runs with the money and leaves players without answers.
