People are free to roam and build as they please in whatever style they choose. We have a small but fantastic commmunity so far with a number of regular players and even a few player built towns and villages showing up. Since opening we have a great group of regulars on now willing and ready to help newcomers! As a whitelist is in place to help prevent griefing we ask you join our discord, link below, and use the 'server application' channel to apply. The server owner GunMonkeyMark will whitelist you when he is on, usually daily. Discord Link https://discord.gg/fW42um3 Server economy runs on in game items, emeralds for interactions with villagers and diamonds for player shops. No digital currency is used. Server is set to Normal difficulty. Grief Prevention plugin allows people to make "land claims" that restrict the ability of others to build on, open doors or activate levers/buttons, and even open chests on another person's claim without permission. We have started on a new amplified map, meaning you'll be able to start fresh with everyone and build the server from the ground up. About The ServerThe server is currently running PaperMC 1.14.4 so we can run DiscordSRV and DynMap, nothing game changing. We're currently looking for anybody who would be interested in assisting in the development of a Survival based Economy/Adventure/Quest styled server. Things we need help with include; - Minor editing of textures - Minor editing of Sound Files - Building and Design - Command Blocks We prefer staff to be mature and 18+ as later in the server's developmental stage we will be opening it up to the public and will need people willing to moderate as well. As for the server, this world has been around since Xbox 360. It's seen a lot of updates, it's broken a lot, and been fixed a lot. But we've managed to keep it going through the years. The original 360 sized map is all Mushroom Biome so we not only have a safe space in the town, but we can focus on things like lighting to really bring the atmosphere of the world together. Outside of the town, the map will be played in Survival Hard Mode and will eventually have Temples, Portals and other cool things to find in your adventures. We have a pretty extensive set of command blocks in place already. The day/night cycle is an Hour and we have a system with the ability to keep track of days. For instance, every morning the server greets you with a "Today is X" post. Later this system will be expanded to support seasons where we can increase and decrease crop growth, as well as mob spawning. This is, of course, all done without mods so while there's a lot we can do, we are limited and can't do things like change textures based on the season. Next, at some point, we will also support custom Villagers who will do things like run shops, farms, market stands and perhaps even hand out quests. This will take a bit to be implemented however as we have to have some designs finalized before we start messing with the villagers in depth. Lastly, the Texture Pack we're running is a custom version of the Conquest Reforged pack ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1wc7CIpcxE ). However, keep in mind that we do not have access to their amazing terrain generation or extra blocks. We purely just have the base version of the texture pack. We also have a variety of custom sounds that we're currently working on for everything from the Enderdragon, all the way down to the chickens. Please keep in mind that this map is a Work in Progress. We used to run it on the Natural Texture Pack but recently changed over to something we can customize to what we like.
