Superflat worlds should also generate superflat nethers and ends. Posted: 21 Jan 2020 04:55 AM PST The superflat nether would probablyaslo generate with a roof. Players could build farms and test mechanics in this flat area rather than having to clear space out. The End might have to get edited a bit, as currently ot generates as islands, and thedragon fight might also need to be removed. [link] [comments] |
Allow Jukeboxes to be Activated by Redstone Posted: 21 Jan 2020 09:42 AM PST I think this would be a great addition because of the number of contraptions that can be made to use sound. For example, I would like some music to automatically play when I step into my house. Sure, this isn't the best example, but I'm sure there are better ones out there that I can't think of this late at night, when I'm writing this. As always, thanks for reading :) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jan 2020 11:10 AM PST Strongholds aren't really challenging to get through (especially if you have enchanted diamons armor and tools) and are quite bland. They have no unique mob except for sliverfish and seem un-unique. I have four mob suggestions that might just make the Stronghold feel more unique and challenging. This is just part one though, so it will only contain 2 of these mobs. The Brisk (Zombie Variant, Name May Change)Brisk's stats ~ Health Points (HP): 14 Armor Points: 1 Attack Strength On Easy: 3-4 hearts Attack Strength On Normal: 5 hearts Attack Strength On Hard: 6-7 hearts Effects II: The Brisk will spawn with one random positive effect II. For example, the Brisk could spawn with resistance II. The Brisk will have less health and defence compared to a normal zombie, however he will be very speedy compared to a normal zombie and do a lot more damage. If the Brisk sees the player they will charge at them. If the Brisk is killed then he will drop 1-3 rotten flesh and 0-3 golden carrots. He might also drop whatever weapon, tool, or armor he might've of been equipping. The Brisk can only spawn in Strongholds. I think it would be really cool if the Brisk had a changed texture depending on the effect it has, like Pitwagon32 suggested. The Jewel Creeper (Creeper Variant, Name May Change)Jewel Creeper's stats ~ Health Points (HP): 28 Jewel Attack Strength On Easy: 4 hearts Jewel Attack Strength On Normal: 5-6 hearts Jewel Attack Strength On Hard: 7 hearts Explosion Attack Strength: 98 hearts Explosion Power: 5 These Creepers would be much stronger and deadlier compared to normal Creepers. They would have an extra long-distance attack where they would shoot out gems at the player. These creepers would try to stay far away from the player but still close enough to be able to shoot them. If the player gets one block close to the creeper then the creeper will stop and start exploding. The explosion attack strength would vary with distance and chosen difficulty, but will genreally deal around 98 damage. If the player gets one block close to the creeper then the creeper will stop and start exploding. The explosion attack strength would vary with distance and chosen difficulty, but will generally deal around 98 damage. Otherwise the jewel creeper will act and function like a normal creeper (you can make him explode using flint and steal, etc.) This is just part one of this, I'll include the other two mobs in another part later. Please give me feedback, it is very useful and will help me improve the idea. Thank you. Edit One: Changed jewel creeper's drops, suggested by Pitwagon32 Edit Two: Made the brisk be able to spawn with any effect II, again suggested by Pitwagon32 Edit Three: Changed brisk's drops to make more sense, suggested by Wizardkid11 [link] [comments] |
Posted: 20 Jan 2020 11:14 PM PST They have 40-60% chance to become mossy if it touches those blocks for 8 in-game days and if moss didn't grow, it'd never grow so it won't break builds unless the block is replaced, the process would repeat. Also in certain greeny biomes, those 2 blocks will have 10-20% chance to grow moss without even touching those certain blocks for 12 in-game days, jungle and swamp has the highest chance and plains has the lowest chance (not savanna since they can't grow moss). Moss can also die out if exposed to snowy biomes and snow for 4 in-game days(including frozen ocean) It can be disabled by gamerule command or an option when creating a world. [link] [comments] |
The Nether and End have generation settings separate from the Overworld. Posted: 21 Jan 2020 09:35 AM PST The Overworld currently has the settings: Default, Flat World, Large Biomes, Amplifies and Buffet. Basically, the End and Nether should also have those settings and they can be edited individually. So you can have a jungle cave Buffet End Dimension, void preset Flatworld Overworld Dimension, and an amplified Nether. Not sure why you would want that, but you can. It's mostly for customizing worlds easier while also solving the problem of Flat, Large Biome and Amplified worlds not effecting the Nether and End. Obviously, Large Biomes would only work in the Nether after the update. (The End already has biomes, but they're basically just for generating the islands, Chorus Plants and Void correctly, so they're not very noticeable. I think it would probably really just make islands generate larger). [link] [comments] |
I wish we could have a good skin customizer on console Posted: 21 Jan 2020 12:02 PM PST I'm on Xbox, and I really wish I could make my own skin. I know this defeats the purpose of purchasable skin packs, but there are still reasons to buy them, like how they add actual pieces or change the body entirely, such as Yoda from the Star Wars pack. I don't know if there's a way to have a custom skin on Minecraft Console, and all the ways I've researched either don't work, were patched out, or are way too complicated. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jan 2020 03:54 PM PST A lava temple which is in the middle of the map or not I believe that will be better. Explanation this temple will be unique in the map he will contain special loot in everything I would love like a lava armor swords lavalium ingot and zombies of fire something that should be a little challenging not like the stronghold I think we could even add a portal which appears when we beat the boss who leads us to the lava dimension he would have lava trees of the constructions is full of other stuff I would really like that minecraft add its that it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted: 21 Jan 2020 02:55 PM PST Currently in MineCraft, you are forced to look in the same direction you walk/ run at. While the ability to use F5 mode to look back is one way of looking back, I find that having the ability to keep moving forward AND looking back would be a rather nice feature to have for both Single and Multiplayer as it benefits the user being able to utilise being aware of the environment and in PVP settings. Here's an example from the game 'Rust' using this mechanic, with the keybind being set by default to Alt on the keyboard. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 20 Jan 2020 11:17 PM PST I think with all the additions to bees, I don't think its right to ignore the possibility of having Pollen in the game? Firstly, I made some textures for it, Unused but just ideas :P the 2nd and 3rd textures are more Minecraft-like, because I based them off the honey comb texture from 1.15 (if your wondering why the bowl isnt exactly the minecraft texture, I added some "dust" on the rim of the texture as pollen is very powdery and gets everywhere) Trying to stay within the range of minecraft's gamestyle, I think pollen should be usable like Sugar, it could be mixed with water to make honey, and can be used as an alternative to sugar in crafting and making potions. Not only that, but I think having pollen as a unique potion ingredient could be a thing, rather than it being just a sugar alternative, pollen potions could effect the player by lowering bee aggression, and preventing bees from attacking the player for the duration of the potion effect this would fit in minecraft's style and guidelines, and would be a nice side addition to the bee update to just add to the game's usability. Just imagine being able to farm bees for sugar, rather than having huge sugar cane piston farms. Collecting? Pollen could probably be collected by accident several ways: Killing Bees, and Mining Beehives. Pollen could be Completely collected in a less natural sense by using sheers on a bee or perhaps right clicking it with a stick to "take" the pollen from the bee. This kind of farming would cause bee aggression, however, after one farm, just mix a pollen into a potion and then you can farm more pollen without the bees becoming aggressive. Pollen could also be a small Side Product of honey production, so pollen could just pop out of the hive once in a while. [link] [comments] |
A new third person back view with a crosshair on the middle and the avatar on the right. Posted: 20 Jan 2020 10:32 PM PST This won't replace any third person view since those two have major uses, it'd just simply add another one, and why is this suggested? It's for people who just wanted to fight while seeing their own character on action like me. It's also gonna be useful for cinematics and if you wanted your avatar on the left side instead, then you should be able to choose in the settings which side you prefer. (It'll be disabled by default but can be enabled in the settings) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jan 2020 11:50 AM PST After you beat the ender dragon, you have a chance to find a rare item that let's you jump into the end void. When you jump into the void, it will load in a limbo like dimension with powerful new mobs, maybe corrupted versions of overworld mobs. For example, an evil distorted pig or sheep. It could have trees made of a new block called obsidian wood and to escape you could either use the item to generate a portal or find one naturally. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jan 2020 02:54 PM PST for this you need bone meel flower dirt and legume or apple this will make the plant grow 30% faster like it they grow 10 minute if you use fertilized dirt they will take 7 minute to grow [link] [comments] |
Posted: 20 Jan 2020 07:04 PM PST Since the last post was removed for having too many ideas, I'm reposting a pared down version. If you have any criticism, please post it! Types
