| Posted: 22 Jul 2020 01:28 PM PDT About Experium SMP: The Experium SMP started off on 7/20/20 (two days ago at the time of this post). We are off to a strong start, but are still looking to get some more members. We currently have around 9 active members and are looking for 5-10 more. In terms of how far we've gotten on the server, we are still pretty early. We just recently made it to the end and fought the dragon, but have only just begun our work on this world. It's safe to say that new members who join soon should not worry about being behind at all. This server is very much inspired by the Hermitcraft series on youtube as I watch a ridiculous amount of that and I am constantly motivated by their community and what they accomplish. This means that we have included several iconic features of that server. These include several vanilla tweaks datapacks, a clearly defined shopping district, and a big emphasis on community and group events/projects. Hopefully, this can make the server super fun and encourage members to stay active. This also means the members have to form a strong community and trust each other to add something positive to the server. That's why I have created a simple application process that you can fill out by clicking the Google Form link at the bottom of this post. Im looking for something similar in which I can spend some time. I'd like it if the server was in newer versions of the game although 1.12 would be fine too. I'm not looking for a classic hub server which has a bit of everything but nothing is good, id prefer something more specialized and with a decently large player base as smaller towny servers sadly tend to die pretty quickly. Hi, ... Still a new server up and going. You will start in a Vanilla 1.16 World in plains with immediate dark forest and swamp also with mandatory update features located at spawn such as corrupt portal and village. (sure, the seed you ask? amusified . ) There is access to the nether there, but no development yet in either world, Eventually it will be built as opposed to destroyed i hope. You can return to this area with /spawn . If random people/zombies have not killed all the villagers yet, you can trade for some emeralds and sell them in /shop or /ah , and purchase items you would like. Another option is to go to /is and start leveling your island in order to get diamonds (island level 5000) from the cobblestone generator (do make sure to do /is challenges for rewards). Return to Vanilla with /spawn and collect some stuff, build a house, build a base, go exploring/mining/caving... a whole world awaits... get in the nether and get the new stuff. (please, no x-ray etc.) Need a food source? kill 100 natural spawning animals and receive a spawner for said animal. A great addition to your island or claim. Claim? do /c claim to claim the vanilla world land chunk you are standing in. Allow or disallow mobs, players, interaction, make a team, set your home, go to your claim with /c home [playername] claim. Claim up to 10 chunks. You must add fuel to your "claim chest" in order to extend the length of time you have on the claim.... ya, taxes, ikr? Zip back to your island and mine cobble generator to get metals/gems to fuel your claim. Either mine lapis in vanilla or Island level 1000 cobble generator to enchant your stuff as normal, build a small mob farm, kill 100 mob type, receive spawner of that mob type. build specific/multi spawner chamber for xp. mob spawners are redstone on/off. Getting overrun? or falling? or burning in lava for w/e reason? /is /spawn /c home [playername]'s claim . Fall damage still applies, and your items will be on the ground if you die. (cheaty tip: put vines at /is, this negates fall dmg.) So, there it sits, it's prepaid for a year, if you would like a nice safe place to create stuff that can only be destroyed if you allow it, stop on in, and bring a friend... it's not very active but for a few people It could be setup better I'm sure. Make a suggestion. Everyone is welcome, that in mind, please keep chat reasonable and inoffensive. PVP is enabled and ok if agreed upon, (also /is helps here). There is lots of protection available, but, it requires the player to set it up with either, " /is " (escape to your island if you need.), or, " /c claim " and follow the instructions to claim that chunk (16x16), add up to 10 chunks to a single claim, or, " /spawn " (escape to spawn), or, " /c home " tp to your claim. Each week we add another couple of crafters to the community. We have a lot of fun together, learning the ins and outs of community building and running a server together. | Pesky Birds [Semi-Vanilla] [SMP] {Whitelist} {1.16.1} {No Map Resets} Posted: 22 Jul 2020 06:23 PM PDT Pesky BirdsWe're a whitelisted community that hosts a semi-vanilla survival Minecraft Java Edition server (currently on 1.16.1) for our members to play on. Our community is aimed towards English-speaking members. This is a server where you will be able to build large, long-term projects with other community members without fear of a world-reset. We're about to start our fifth month on the server and are looking for new members. Our shopping district has come along well, we have a variety of shops established by our members selling all kinds of books, shulker-boxes, Elytras and a lot of resources! We've hosted a few in-game community events over Easter, including an Egg Hunt as well as a "Secret Bunnies" event where everyone secretly exchanged gifts, set up pranks, and even treasure hunts. We've also started a game of tag on the server. Our community is creating more mini-games, improving our shopping district, working on a quad-witch farm and are looking to set up travel hubs, and more community builds in the near future! We're specifically looking for more builder-oriented players that would like to contribute to future community builds (spawn, travel hubs, etc), in a survival setting. As well as those that like to make their own pretty base builds, towns, etc. About our ServerWe pay for and self-manage our own dedicated hardware to ensure our server runs performantly and without lag for all of our members.

We'll be organising community projects over the coming weeks to help improve our spawn further, set up travel hubs, and potentially roads/railways to connect major points of interest. Data packs: We use a variety of data packs (mostly similar to those used on the Hermitcraft server): AFK Display - Armour Statues - Coordinates HUD - Double Shulker Shells - Dragon Drops Elytra - More Mob Heads - Multiplayer Sleep - Nether Portal Coords - Player Head Drops - Silence Mobs - Track Raw Statistics - Track Statistics - Villager Workstation Highlights - Wandering Trades - Tag Plugins: We have a few plugins to aid with grief prevention, moderation and permission management. However, we aim to keep the experience as close to vanilla as possible so that it doesn't feel immersion-breaking - and aren't going to introduce significant gameplay altering plugins. Rules and ApplicationsWe respect and trust each other in the community, and expect all our members to be kind to each other. We don't condone the use of significant exploits (duping) or hacking (fly, X-ray, auto-mine, etc). No one will be given the ability to spawn in items or use creative mode for building (including admins and mods). Use of Optifine/Fabric/Forge, Resource Packs, Shaders, and UI/UX improving mods for your client is allowed - unless it conflicts with the above rule. PvP is enabled on this SMP server, but its primary purpose is for mini-games or duels between players that all consent to it. We will not tolerate open-world player killing, stealing or looting from other players (unless they've previously consented in a mini-game / duel setting).
