LazyChunk is a semi-technical server aiming to unite builders and technical farmers alike! It runs 24/7 on a private root server with dedicated hardware. The community is very friendly, laid-back and looking forward to meeting new players to join our adventure! Whether you are interested in building big farms and selling stuff in the central district, or just like playing survival and creating huge builds - LazyChunk might be the place for you! About LazyChunk & the technicalities Since November 02 2019 LazyChunk is live. It started off as an idea, creating a community of people who are interested in playing a hermitcraft-like server with no due date. I always felt anxious playing on a semi-technical server because I was scared that after spending many hours on building farms etc the server owner could at any moment decide to drop the server and my precious time would have gone to waste. With LazyChunk this won't happen. The server is already paid for a year in advance and I don't plan on letting it run out as long as there is interest! The server runs on a private root server and is online 24/7, has a custom, twice-a-day, backup-script and a daily scheduled restart at 6am CET all written by me. Server info

We are on our second year with a solid group of long term player.s We've all been having fun doing new map antics and building our new bases. The server is in Montreal and sports 16GB of RAM and hermitcraft datapacks. We will be updating to 1.16.2 this week. Additionally we have a community creative server available. You can collaborate with other players in creative, or test you redstone contraptions on a server environment. We ask that you be at least 16, but this is not a deal breaker. We have an active community with vibrantly personalities from across the world. Many players choose to play with friends and family. For an idea of what we've made, I've linked a few screenshots from our server, such as someone's base or our nether hub or giant farms. We have more pictures on our discord as well. We have a central town to build shops, and an area set aside just for building mini-games. Our server runs on diamonds and trust for currency, helping reinforce our community as we build out. Our specific datapacks include: AFK Name Changer - Displays a persons's name slightly lighter in the tab menu when they are AFK. Anti-Enderman Grief - Prevents endermen from picking up your stuff. Good riddance. Custom Armor Stands - Allows you to pose armor stands with the use of a special book. (The free book vendor can be found at spawn.) Dragon Drops Elytra - Self-explanatory. Double Shulker Shells - Shulkers will always drop two shells- guaranteed. More Mob Heads - Allows you to receive the respective mob head from any mob as a rare drop when killed. Multiplayer Sleep - Allows the progression to day with only one person sleeping Kill Cod - Cod can lag the server due to an AI bug, so "/trigger kc_KillCod" kills all naturally spawned cod. Silence Mobs - Got a bunch of mobs making noise in your base? Rename a name tag to "silence me" without the quotes and the mob will no longer make noise. Terracotta Wrench - Do you want to be able to place terracotta without 5 hours of painstaking placement to get a nifty pattern? Then this is for you! We run a few mods for server performance. Carpet Mod, Lithium and Phosphorus all help with lag and provide a few extra tools on the main server. Our creative server also has WorldEdit available and all players have access to the commands from Carpet Mod. Our core rules are pretty straight forward: No griefing. Griefing is the intentional destruction or deletion of others property. No stealing. No duplicating items, utilizing cheats, hacked clients, x-raying, or anything else that can give you an advantage that other players do not have. TNT entity duplication is allowed for the purposes of limited perimeter clearing, and in blast chambers for farms. World eaters are not allowed. No non-consensual PvP. Killing of other players without consent is highly frowned upon and can net you punishment. PvP that has been agreed to beforehand is allowed. Language Policy - No offensive, homophobic, racist, etc. statements. Do not harass other users. This is a family friendly server; several player have their children or young siblings play with them so please watch your language. Do not spam the chat. Be mindful of other builds. If a creeper blows up you need to make an effort to assist in the repair. Pranks may be conducted. However, your pranks must be easily reversible. Examples include building funny (but appropriate) things on top of someone's base or trapping them inside an obsidian or infinity box. For example, we have a weekly king of the hill sort of contest where you can win a sword that lets you collect playerheads. About the server itself: - We have a shopping area that mainly uses diamonds as currency (how generic) -We don't look up to Hermitcraft, but many of us watch it so don't expect any Hermitcraft fan idolising like you see a lot around here. -We use quality of life data packs like: one person sleeping, armour stand book, heads and others I can't think of. -We are quite early on in the world as we have just killed the dragon. -I made a community gold/levels farm that you can go to get levels. -I don't own the server, I just help out occasionally -We don't support irrational behaviour such as: bullying, racism or any other form of profanity. We have 3 Minecraft servers running simultaneously, 2 modded and 1 vanilla, uptime 24/7. ECc is a EU-based Discord-server, but 1/3 of our players are from US, so you're welcome either you're from EU, US or another continent. We're looking for players who are 18 years or older, to keep the community mature. About the MC servers: We're a community-focused group and are looking for other players who want to be a part of a long-term community. The aim for each server is to settle down bases close enough to spawn that it can be linked either by roads in the overworld or a nether HUB. At spawn we try to get shops and other community projects going, and players who want to contribute here are more than welcome. Once a month we change one of the modpacks, the new modpack for the server is decided through a democratic vote, this way hopefully everyone will get to play their favorite pack eventually. However if modded server are populated at the time we will skip that month. Not mandatory, but we do have a voicechat in the Discord that's active most of the day, and you're more than welcome to hang out there even when not playing games. This is of course completely optional. Our Servers: Project Ozone 3: Started the 18th of June, been around a bit more than a month. It's on normal difficulty with the Garden of Glass terrain. Here you can choose whether to play on your own or team up with one of the others players. This will soon be replaced by another modpack, depending on what the community chooses. Vanilla: Is the newest version of Minecraft and was opened right after the new 1.16 update, around a month ago. This won't be reset until the next version of Minecraft at the earliest. This contains a few of xisumavoid's datapacks, but we're trying to keep the experience as vanilla as possible. All The Mods 3: This is the new server, chosen by the community recently. Pretty fresh and started on the 20th of July. Running the normal version, not Remix or Expert mode. Server Specs: The server is a OVH dedicated server running a Ryzen 3600X and 32GB of RAM, so lag shouldn't be an issue. Based in UK, so should have decent ping to both Europeans and Americans. In the beginning, we had no clue that it it would eventually blossom into such an amazing community of wonderful people. With community-driven contests and events such as a Windmill Competition in the middle of March 2013, the Great Ore Tree Hunt on May 1st 2013, a community Ender Dragon fight in the same month and in June the creation of a new spawn, the server was on a very good path for the future for the rest of 2013. Between Febuary to July of 2014 we worked on a new city named Redshire, but it all got cut short on October 24, 2014 when the server was retired due to a high lack in motivation, and an increasing decline in server popularity. However in September of 2015 there was a teaser posted on the forum of an amazing new spawn. The Return of Mountain Pass happened on October 17th, 2015 featuring brand new custom economy shops, infinitely generated custom terrain and the same amazing community. Although the hype seemed to match expectations, Minecraft was declining in popularity. The daily connected players never seemed to be what it was before and the server eventually dropped into a state of hibernation, eventually going offline after Halloween in 2017. Now three years later with the start of a new year comes a new spark of intuition and motivation to revive the server, which has brought a lot of previous members together for the rebirth of Mountain Pass. After many long days of plugin configuration, revamping & remodeling old buildings from Redshire, and installing premium plugins, Mountain pass is back.
