prismarine ore in underwater caves Posted: 19 Sep 2020 12:42 AM PDT ocean caves do exist, but apart from all water, magma blocks and nuisance to get through there's nothing unique here, so what if there could spawn a new prismarine ore? requires iron pickaxe or better to mine, can drop 1-3 prismarine shards and rarely (around 10%) a prismarine crystal (all chances increases with fortune) spawns below y 30 in all oceans variant, the chance of them appearing increases by whopping 50% when near underwater cave or underwater ravine. this will let players to make conduit without visiting the ocean monument though to compensate the ocean monument value loss, a barrels will spawn inside with great loot such as prismarine shards, nautilus shells and sponges. A block only Netherite Pickaxes can mine Posted: 19 Sep 2020 12:56 PM PDT Diamond pickaxes can currently mine obsidian (netherite can too) but it's strange. Why can't the other pickaxes mine obsidian? I had an idea to try and address both situations (unique Bastian loot and a block netherite pickaxes can only mine) by adding some new blocks to the treasure room bastion. Instead of all gold blocks at the bottom, there is a new block that functions similarly to bookshelves, but gives you access to rare enchantments in a new catergory called "erosive enchantments". Currently the game has 3 erosive enchantments which are thorns, multishot and soul speed which all degrades tools faster. This block is very hot, so only netherite pickaxes can mine it. All other pickaxes loses a lot of durability when attempting, and also plays a burning sound when trying to communicate to the player not to mine it with a pickaxe other than netherite. When charged using glow stone similarly to a respawn anchor, it can function like bookshelves for an enchantment table. It gives you access to Erosive Enchantments such as soul speed and other new erosive enchantments they add in the future. However every tick it is placed down, mined back up or used to enchant, it has a chance to degrade similarly to anvils. Meaning you can only get a finite amount of these special enchantments. The Lurker - A new danger of the lava seas Posted: 19 Sep 2020 05:44 AM PDT The new striders gave us a new way to cross the lava oceans in the nether, and while that may sound fun, it isn't really that much dangerous (other than ghasts), so I present to you a mob to make traveling by striders (slightly) more challenging... THE LURKER AppearanceThe lurker would take the design of a large fish (Credit: è’‹ 昊 - Artstation) with magma-like skin and lava swirling around it's body. The only differences between the picture, are spikes of basalt on it's back and (obviously) being in the traditional minecraft style. It's size would be around an elder guardian's (maybe a bit larger). SpawningThe mob would uncommonly inhabit the the lava seas of the nether but is slightly more common in the basalt deltas. Yet, lurkers would spawn alone. BehaviorThis big firey fry would be considered a miniboss with high health of that of an iron golem's. As an aggressive mob, it would lunge and try to drown other mobs (including players) by pushing them (even if they are riding something like a strider) into the boiling depths below (which excludes other large mobs such as ghasts and elder guardians, though it can still attack ravagers and iron golems), acting like the charvaargh enemies from Super Mario 3D World. The creature would mostly remain hidden beneath the lava with a large trail of lava particles on the surface following the lurker. It can only be knocked back when lunging. WeaknessesLike most other fish, the lurker would suffocate on land, but instead of just flopping it would stay stranded forever whilst not attacking. The creature would also be damaged by rain and water (cuz it's a fire mob). The best combat for fighting the lurker would be the one and only snowball. Similar to blazes, lurkers would take damage from snowballs and even flee from them. What's even better if you have lots of snowballs in your inventory, you could spam-throw them to hurt the lurker and defeat it, getting a new advancement/achievement called Thar She Blows. Lurker's ScalesKilling the lurker will also reward you with a new drop called Lurker's Scales. Like netherite it can't burn so you will have enough time to catch it. After claiming the drop, you can use the Lurker's Scales to brew a new potion which allows you to become fireproof, have improved vision underneath lava, make lava transparent and even sprint-swim in the molten rock like you do in water. Currently, I can't think of a name for the potion in which you'll be requesting names for it in comments. Posted: 19 Sep 2020 10:20 AM PDT Lately I've been looking into the Quark mod and thought that elder prismarine would be a great addition to the game. There could also be prismarine ore (not my idea; forgot the og creator's username) that drops prismarine shards and/or prismarine crystals. I'm thinking there should also be more variants of prismarine like mossy (seagrass mixed in) and chiseled. Elder prismarine btw is like nornal prismarine but rather than being greenish it's kind of a beige color like the elder guardian. Elder prismarine comes in all the same variants as regular prismarine but is found naturally in underwater caves as well as elder sea lanterns. Getting this achievement you have to travel far visiting: Jungle Temple Desert Temple Woodland Mansion Mineshafts (you have to go in the mineshaft) Stronghold Ocean Monument Igloo Entering a built version of these structures cannot get this achievement, they are low effort The Wonders of the World achievement is like you've visited the real wonder of the world and it is hardto get. Bees need to appear more often. Posted: 19 Sep 2020 04:52 AM PDT The 1.15 udpate was good for introduce bees, but the problem is they are very rare to find. When you see the trailer, you see a lot of bees but in the game you find 1 or 2 bees very rarely, this is why why not make them appears more often especially in the forest. We literally see always the sames mobs, like cows, pigs, chickens etc... The idea is you can find more bees in the plains, but it will be still rare, but instead of 1 and 2 they are 5-6 when you find them. In the forest they appear normally , and you can find 1-3 heast. In the flowers forests you can find a tree with a lot of heasts, where you can find a lot of bees since there are a lot of flowers. You can find also bees around the village near some flowers that Mojang can add in the village like the trailer. It will be good to see bees each day, it will make Minecraft more alife since we will see them more and we can make a farm with them more easily. [link] [comments] |

Now that we will have better mountain generation (Mountains Update), this can be an actual feature. This biome will have tall mountains, with grass all over them, and even (Oak?) trees, flowers... Basically, a extreme hills, forest, and flower forest mix. But here's the important thing: One part of the mountain would be plain, in vertical position, to allow water from a pond, or lake from the top of the mountain fall down creating a cool waterfall. There could also be a small lake down the mountain, where the waterfall ends. • Generation: As I said, mountains will be generated with ponds on top of them and lakes at the bottom. Caves could generate behind these waterfalls. • Mob Generation: What mobs will spawn here? Apart from bees, and other common animals (cows, sheeps, pigs...), Goats could generate only on top of the mountains, and fishes in the ponds and lakes (And maybe squids in lakes). The terrain itself would basically be that of a plains Biome with lots of pumpkins scattered about. The grass color would be yellowish green, Think Savannah but lighter. Along side The grass blocks would be occasional bits of Podzol. Sometimes in the biome you could find giant pumpkins which would be built from normal pumpkins to give the illusion of something bigger They could range from 3x3x3 to 5x5x5 blocks in size. As a rare Easter every 1 in every 1000 pumpkins could be carved [link] [comments] |

Posted: 19 Sep 2020 02:56 AM PDT Pretty self explanatory, certain mobs could get an update to their animations. We got pig people that dance, angry squidwards that pull back their crossbow, and all the things a dragon can do. So, to spice up other mobs, maybe Mojang can update the animations of much simpler mobs. Chickens that clean their wings, various slouching positions for zombie enemies, silverfish that "dig" when they burrow into stone, wither skeletons that drag swords when they're not attacking, flaps on the stray's rags that move with movement, and maybe even some light fog that surrounds the wither boss. Maybe slimes can squish just a little when jumping. Some other, maybe less necessary animations could be a particle effect unique to certain mobs like sand flying off of a husk when hit or water for the drowned and the aforementioned wither smoke. Posted: 19 Sep 2020 10:19 AM PDT Anyone who's tried to build something with water in a swamp knows that it usually doesn't turn out great. All the water in the swamp - even in completely player-made structures - is that weird green color. Using grass blocks would be a good way for the game to figure out if the water was supposed to look natural (green swamp color) or like regular water (blue). Here's how it would work:
This applies to flowing water too. So basically a fountain flowing from the sky into swamp water would be green, but a pool that's not connected to the swamp water would stay blue. The change would be instant, like redstone turning on and off, so it's not like the green would creep up the water. And swamp water wouldn't be a new liquid, it would just be a color change. So if you took swamp water and put it somewhere else, it would still be blue. What do you think? [link] [comments] |

The problem with saddle is when you are 4 or 7 players in a world, In all the world i play, always 1 can ride an horse, the others not because they don't find a saddle. I know we can find them in dungeon etc... But the problem is it tooks a lot of time, like even when you finish the game you can't find enough saddle for the other players. This is why i think abou this idea. Saddle is composed by leather and iron logically, it shouldn't be impossible or hard to craft it,this is why, why not allow us to craft it, and it will be more cool and make i guess horse more viable in Minecraft. Under water ore on oceans and better food Posted: 19 Sep 2020 07:17 AM PDT The uses for it could be for new itens since netherite came out recentely(no armor) but to make it hard to aquire it only exists while in contact with water and in under water caves near a temple, the gardians one( idk the name) a good example for an iten could be a food that gives you water breathing being crafted just like golden carrots or it could even be better i terms of saturation and how much bars of food it fulls since you can not make and afk farm of this ore(but to make that people don't load a lots of chunks for having that ore it will be the only ore in those caves). Posted: 19 Sep 2020 12:29 PM PDT A minotaur would be a rare mob findable in dungeons (if they are updated) or if a cow is struck by lightning. They would be quite big and would wield a stone or iron axe. They would be automaticlly hostile but will be neutral if you are wearing full leather armor. They would have 35 health (45 on hard mode) and would deal 10hp of damage (12.5 on hard mode). On death, they would drop 0-2 iron ingots, a stone/iron axe with maybe sharpness, 2-5 beef, 1-2 bones and 2-5 leather. The minotaur would have a special attack where he charges you head first dealing upwards of 20 damage. This attack can be deflected by using your shield where it will stun the minotaur for 5 seconds and will deal alot of durability damage to your sheild (like a creeper blast). The minotaur rush would be as fast as a horse with speed 1. The minotaur can be killed using a shield and an axe or sword. The shield is very essential. The Minoshroom would be a mooshroom version of a minotaur, they can be found by a red or brown mooshroom getting struck by lightning or in dungeons (if they get updated) under mooshroom biomes. These would be the same as minotaurs but with mushroom drops. [link] [comments] |
Ender Dragon fight it's pointless (at least when you re-summon her) Posted: 19 Sep 2020 03:27 AM PDT DISCLAIMER: (I know that the reward is the end cities and coral but the mob itself doesn't have any special drop, only the 60 levels of xp that you can earn easily with a mob grinder) So, the ender Dragon should have an special drop (like the wither and the elder guardian) that can be useful for endgame players. The idea is that the Ender Dragon drops 1 Ender Dragon scale when it's killed. I've had some ideas for the use of these scales: 1: "Enderite": More powerful than netherite (not too much) and retractable elytras (maybe cool dragon wings) in the chest plate (the defense is normal when the elytras are closed but if you fly with the elytras, the defense goes down,so it's not exactly an elytra chest plate) 2: Maybe a respawn anchor for the end (if the end itself gets updated and now you can spawn there, is not that pointless) 3: Beacon-like block? All this ideas should be expensive (stuff crafted with lots of scales, so it's challenging) Also, the battle can be different every time you fight the dragon, so it's not boring I've readed the FPS and canceled ideas list and I have never seen a mod that does this.
