We are currently only one week old but already have seen quite some activity from the players that have joined and even had to rescue some players from having run out of lives! I am seeking to gain and grow a moderate friendly community that love the risk of playing Hardcore but in a multiplayer setting where they can collaborate together to achieve things grow a world that thrives. Why is it "Hardcore\" ?* RiskySMP is running a custom-designed Datapack by myself, whilst not "Hardcore" in the traditional sense, it is a datapack designed to make "Hardcore" more smp-friendly whilst still providing the high risk-reward of Hardcore play. Each player begins with a limited amount of lives (The community elected to make this; 3 . So if you die 4 times, you end up in the dead realm) and a configurable "maximum" amount of lives (The community elected to make this; 3 . So you can slowly gain more lives back up to that number). When a player dies with 0 lives left they are moved to a custom-made empty dimension. However this is not technically "game over", as they can be brought back by building a structure with 4 diamond blocks, 1 netherite block, a enchanted golden apple (not just a normal one), and throwing a named totem of undying into it. Like what? Stuff like auto-replenishing chest loot—looted chests will reset themselves anywhere from twelve hours to two days (real time) after being looted. The same player will not be able to loot the same chest over and over again, but players will be able to loot chests that are new to them. Invisible item frames. Mob heads that can be harvested "naturally" from the hapless creature whose head you want to dance around in. Miniblocks—like custom wandering trader or villager trades designed to enhance (not replace) a healthy player economy. A seed that was carefully chosen after hours of research. These are just an example—there are a lot of other behind-the-scenes tweaks intended to enhance play, including regeneration of world terrain in all three dimensions when necessary to ensure everyone has a chance to explore and gather resources. In addition to our whitelist, we're protected against grief (accidental or otherwise) by CoreProtect, backups are made daily and stored both on the server and in the cloud.
