- Block Names are getting too long. Here's a solution.
- "placing" a Bundle full of blocks should place a random block
- Leatherworker should sell bundles
- Villagers should trade with each other.
- I wish when you shot an arrow at a mob it would actually stay there and just not immediately disappear.
- Nether Geodes
- Copper Golem - Not another Iron Golem clone!
- Copper pressure plate
- Magma Cubes should take damage from standing on ice
- Candles Should Be Able To Be Placed On Flower Pots
- Night Sky and Astronomy Update [Now with Feedback links!]
- Use for goat's horn in Minecraft 1.17
- Amethyst should be a note block instrument
- You can break budding amethyst and it will drop, But there's a catch.
- Make Copper Farmable
- Decorative Quartz Crystals
- Enchantment for the Spyglass to show mobs and players under the effects of an invisibility potion
- Generated Structures Options in world generation.
- More intersting curses.
- cobblestone + coal = blackstone
- Copper Arrows
- Better snow
- Totem of forgiveness
- Hardened blocks

"placing" a Bundle full of blocks should place a random block Posted: 06 Nov 2020 07:22 PM PST Problem: You are building a path with gravel and cobblestone. You want the gravel and cobble to be randomly distributed, but being a human, you constantly have to mentally avoid creating checkerboards or other patterns. All your focus is on making the path "look random". The bundle should help with this by making a single hotbar slot the "cobble and gravel mix block". Just put 32 gravel and 32 cobblestone into a bundle, then hold the bundle out, right click on the floor, and theres a 50% chance it places one of the gravel and a 50% chance it places a cobblestone. If you place 8 cracked stone bricks and 56 stone bricks into a bundle and build a wall out of it, you will get a wall made of 8 cracked stone bricks and 56 stone bricks, randomly distributed. This would also work in creative, but it wouldn't use up the blocks in the bundle. You could have 1 of each wool color in a bundle and place it everywhere to make random rainbow barf. edit: Found a post on the minecraft feedback site [link] [comments]
Leatherworker should sell bundles Posted: 07 Nov 2020 12:25 PM PST Bundles are made of rabbit hides belonging to this profession. So it makes sense that leatherworkers could sell them. Also it's much harder to get the rabbit hides than get the normal leather so it's would be cool if we could get an alternative way to get the bundles. [link] [comments]
Villagers should trade with each other. Posted: 07 Nov 2020 08:58 AM PST It would be a purely cosmetic thing where villagers would walk up to each other and randomly hold either an item they trade or an emerald while "HMM"ing for quite a bit. Then they're either get the green particles, signifying a "trade" (although no actual items would be exchanged) or the angry particles if their deal supposedly fell through. It would add a great deal of ambience and life to the villages! [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 08:56 AM PST I don't know why but it has always bugged me that the arrows never do that. I kinda think it would look cool if the arrows stayed in the mob kinda what it looks like a player gets hit with an arrow [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 08:36 AM PST a geode made of nether quartz in the nether - it could be used as a renewable way to grow nether quartz without requiring a gold farm to barter with piglins. they could be surrounded by blackstone and basalt (or unique blocks), similar to how overworld geodes have unique stone around them to distinguish them from the surrounding stone [link] [comments]
Copper Golem - Not another Iron Golem clone! Posted: 06 Nov 2020 11:18 PM PST I saw 'more golems' on the FPS list, but please hear me out - I put quite a bit of effort into this. Whenever I see a suggestion for a new Golem, it's ALWAYS an iron Golem Clone. I don't think I've seen a single Golem that looks different, other than the block it's made of. I want to change that! The Copper Golem is spawned by making an "X" on the ground, with a pumpkin in the middle. On top of the Pumkin, you'll have to place a Lightning Rod. The Coplem (which I'll be calling it from now on) is Neutral to the Player & it's pets, and hostile to any other mob. It's weaker than an Iron Golem, however, it also attacks Creepers. It attacks by stomping on it's foes with it's large legs, dealing 15 damage. The Coplem also Oxidizes! The longer it lives, the more it oxidizes. Oxidization increases it's Damage and Defense, but lowers it's Speed. If a Lightning Storm happens, the Coplem will act as a big Lightning Rod. It will attract lightning, basically guarunteening a Lightning Strike. When struck, the Coplem will gain a Charged Creeper-like glint on it's big attenae. They can then use this Lightning to attack it's foes, releasing small strikes that leave no fire behind. One Lightning Strike allows for 3 smaller strikes on enemies, and the amount stacks with more strikes, with a maximum capacity of 12 strikes. When full, it's eyes will glow a bright blue. It only uses these attacks when there are 3+ Monsters attacking it. I think I found a new hobby; making images for my posts! It's also on the Feedback page! Here it is! [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 05:43 AM PST Back when 1.16 introduced the Polished_black_stone_pressure_plate, There was a bit of speculation on its functionality. It turned out that it was just a Stone_pressure_plate for players that chose to start in the nether, which with hindsight makes sense. But with Copper coming to 1.17, I wanted to bring back two of the most popular speculative ideas that were floating around at the time, as a suggestion. The idea is simply a Pressure_plate that only activates when a player is on it, or a Pressure_plate that only activates when every mob but a player is on it. If you want to be real fancy about it you can even have both with it depending on copper oxidation. This was largely inspired by BoogieMonster101's mod found here: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/obsidiplates-fabric [link] [comments]
Magma Cubes should take damage from standing on ice Posted: 07 Nov 2020 03:35 PM PST I have several Nether high ways and some of them pass through the Basalt Deltas, where as you know Magma Cubes spawn. They tend to block the highways, which is bad overall. Since they are made of fire it would only make send to take damage from ice. [link] [comments]
Candles Should Be Able To Be Placed On Flower Pots Posted: 07 Nov 2020 02:49 PM PST I think this would help with building and add more depth and other things to builds [link] [comments]

Use for goat's horn in Minecraft 1.17 Posted: 07 Nov 2020 10:30 AM PST I think I have an idea for that. You somehow connect your dog or multiple dogs to the specific horn and when you toot with it no matter how far you are, your dogs, even when sitting, instantly teleport to you. It's useful when you have extra because you can fly anywhere and then just make your dogs teleport to you. Also it is good when your dog falls into the lava, which happens kinda lot of times so you can easly get him out of it, because currently there is no dogs armor or anything like that. What do you think? Edit: Of course it would also work with cats and parrots, not axolotls tho because we will be able to put them in the buckets. And by "connecting" horn to the animal I mean clicking with horn on your pet. It will become "enchanted" just like compass in 1.16 by clicking on lombstone (I think it was the name of that block, I don't remember) with it. If you toot with it, that animal will teleport to you no matter where you are. You can click on more animals so with single horn, all of them will teleport. What about a new enchantment that increases the amount of pets that can be connected to the horn? And also enchantments that allow them teleport to you even when you're in a different dimension? There is a lot of possibilities [link] [comments]
Amethyst should be a note block instrument Posted: 07 Nov 2020 01:11 PM PST The amethyst block should be a note block instrument. The thought would be that it would make the same sound as amethyst usually does when you place it or break it, but when you use a note block like you normally would with wood, iron block, or whatnot, you should be able to change the tone of the chime sound. So yeah that's the idea. Someone might have already suggested this, so if you did, comment on this post and I'll link yours. [link] [comments]
You can break budding amethyst and it will drop, But there's a catch. Posted: 07 Nov 2020 05:13 AM PST My idea is that budding amethyst that has been broken by a silk touch pickaxe will drop a "deactivated" version of itself that would no longer grow crystals. Thoughts? Edit: The purpose of this "deactivated" budding amethyst would be just for texture. [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 06:55 AM PST Copper is a really nice looking block that a lot of people are going to want to build out of, but it's hard to get enough to build with. This is why i'm suggesting to make it farmable in some way like iron and gold are. Edit: it could be something like a villager trade instead of a farm Edit 2: could also be a drop from husks like how zombies drop iron [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 07:53 AM PST To put it simply, you would be able to place and mine the individual pieces of quartz you can get from nether quartz ore. This is inspired by the amethyst crystals in 1.17 but they wouldn't have any growing mechanics, they would be purely decorative. Though if you have any other ideas of what this could do, I'd be happy to hear them :) Here's what they would look like, the existing texture already works great. [link] [comments]
Enchantment for the Spyglass to show mobs and players under the effects of an invisibility potion Posted: 07 Nov 2020 06:27 AM PST They would show up semi-transparent, but you would ONLY be able to see them when zoomed in with the spyglass [link] [comments]
Generated Structures Options in world generation. Posted: 07 Nov 2020 02:18 PM PST Basics, you get options in how plentiful structures are in a world and not just whether they generate or not. Like, "Rare" "Uncommon" "Common" and "Plentiful" or something along those lines. [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 02:15 PM PST Curses in Minecraft are cool in the current game but they get to be annoying and boring sometimes. That's why I want to propose more and better curses, as well as a way to remove them. First I want to discuss some new curses. New curses can be opposites to enchantments.
And there may be many more. Next, i want to propose a way to remove curses from your items: The alchemy set. Not really know the recipe but it would work like this: You put your item in the alchemy set and it will take a couple of levels of xp (depending on the level of each curse) and it will remove all enchantments. That's my proposal for better curses. Thank you for reading. [link] [comments]
cobblestone + coal = blackstone Posted: 07 Nov 2020 10:49 AM PST like you can make diorite andesite and granite i thought it would be a good idea to make blackstone [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 07:10 AM PST Now it might seems useless since we had an ordinary arrows and copper arrows are arrows but unique. it works only during thunderstorms. Arrows stuck to player right? (Java) so if copper arrows stuck to player during thunderstorm. everytime a lightning appears, it targets the player that has stucked copper arrow. it can works for mobs too. if the mob or player hit by a lightning due to the copper, the copper will produce damage within 3 seconds to the entity, when a mob is on a desert, the mob will be set on fire. if the arrows stucked to the player despawns, he is no longer vulnerable that much. lightnings tend to spawn or appear on wetty lands except when the player is on snow biome (note: lightning cannot appear on snow biomes except taiga and other every biome) but with the copper arrow, it is now possible. if youve been hit by it then you must cover yourself between 5 blocks thick of the roof and it will disappears if the storm ends or the arrow despawns. Posted: 07 Nov 2020 01:45 PM PST I've been working with snow in my builds recently and I got some ideas about snow -Now, while I would like to get every block to have the ability to be snowlogged, the main ones that need to be snowlogged are tall grass and the flowers. -Snow layers are currently craftable (which is good), but the input to reward ratio is terrible and should be doubled at the very least -Snowier snow should be used to create a slightly buffed (arrow and water resistant) snowman because of it rarity. As a side note, snowy leaf blocks and falling snow layers have been in the bedrock for a long while now. Since we're getting an update to a (partial) snow biome, I think it would be appriotite to bring this bit of parity over to java [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 08:54 AM PST A new item that could be found in woodland mansions only, to give them purpose. The totem of forgiveness would when in hand, preserve your inventory in it's entirety when you die, but with a cost. All of your armor and tool durability would be lowered a significant amount, maybe bringing green to yellow for example. This would give a reason for woodland mansions, and would give a real counter to threats a regular totem can't save you from, like burning in the middle of a lava ocean in the nether, or falling into the end, while still making you prepare a little bit for an adventure by repairing your armor/tools so that if you die with the totem, it doesn't damage your armor/tools so much as to break it As for designs I don't have any but constructive criticism and ideas for designs would be appreciated [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 01:30 PM PST Placing any of the stone blocks around a piece of obsidian in the crafting table will create a "hardened" version of it that's close to or as tough as obsidian. The purpose currently would mainly be for builders wanting to make farms with tnt more aesthetic or PvP servers to help protect their bases. I feel like it would help encourage creativity with traps in bases as it wouldn't be easy to get through without end game gear or hopefully in dungeons, temples etc if they make them have more puzzles or challenges in it so that way early game you would actually get rewarded for beating it rather than just breaking through with a wooden pickaxe but late game when the loot isn't as important to you you can mine through it no worries [link] [comments] |
