Some nether bricks in fortresses should be cracked Posted: 21 Dec 2020 03:24 AM PST Just like in strongholds where some stone bricks are mossy, cracked or infested, some nether bricks in nether fortresses should be cracked. [link] [comments] |
Now there will be no precipitation above the clouds, as in real life. Posted: 21 Dec 2020 04:18 AM PST •In real life, precipitation does not go above the clouds, it will be a great addition to updating the height of the world. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Dec 2020 06:53 AM PST In 1.17 when you freeze it turns the hearts blue. It does the same thing for other types of damage. Green for poison and black for wither. They should turn your hearts orange when you take damage from fire. Small change but I think it would be cool [link] [comments] |
Adding Quicksand and Sandstorm in 1.17 Posted: 21 Dec 2020 12:57 AM PST I came up with my idea, and here's what: •If you put the cauldron during a sandstorm, it will be filled with quicksand. •It will be like the effect of frostbite, but getting into it you start to suffocate. •Quicksand will be generated in the jungle. But, as quicksand is found in the mountains and deserts. •If you wear leather shoes, you can walk on quicksand. •Unlike frostbite, which occurs gradually, when hit by quicksand, the character begins to suffocate instantly. There may be translation difficulties, as I speak English poorly. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Dec 2020 08:48 AM PST Right now, there isn't a way to bonemeal crops from a long distance. Or to shoot really fast ender pearls. Or shoot lingering potions and splash potions really far. This is my solution. If either of these items are in the offhand, they will be loaded into a crossbow once you draw it. Once the trigger is pushed, these items will fly in a straight trajectory at 2.5x the speed. [link] [comments] |
Taking Saddles off Pigs and Striders Posted: 21 Dec 2020 02:27 PM PST Unlike horses and their variants, players cannot take saddles off striders and pigs. I think this is annoying when the only way to retrieve the saddle is by killing the pig or strider. Thus, it would genuinely be nice if we could be able to take saddles off pigs or striders. Instead of giving pigs and striders a saddle spot, we should be able to just take the saddle off by pressing shift and left-click at the same time. [link] [comments] |
If you try to fry food in a blast furnace, it will become coal. Posted: 21 Dec 2020 08:19 AM PST •A very simple and fun way to get coal. The blast furnace can produce high temperatures, and the meat from this will simply become coal. •It's just a lot of fun. [link] [comments] |
Nether fortresses should have better loot Posted: 21 Dec 2020 07:15 AM PST Because bastions occassionally have great loot such as netherite, diamond gear and arrows while nether fortress loot is just pitiful. Since fortresses are now rarer they should have better rewards, for instance wither skeleton heads, blaze rods, potions, enchanted gear (eg. enchanted crossbows and bows to make fortresses live up to their name as a sort of defense installment). Move Slime and Honey Blocks in the redstone category in the creative menu Posted: 21 Dec 2020 05:38 AM PST It's really annoying for me to search in the decoration menu to find slime and honey blocks when probably noone uses it as a decoration, as the main purpose of those block is to make redstone contraption. Spawn eggs for iron golems and snow golems Posted: 21 Dec 2020 11:26 AM PST It would be SO MUCH easier just to plop down a spawn egg than to manually build them. Frick. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Dec 2020 06:29 AM PST Snowy owls would be a new arctic mob with a ton of possibility... The snowy owls would be passive mobs, however if there is a rabbit nearby they will swoop down and kill it. Snowy owls can be bred with rabbit meat. The coolest feature about the new mob would be the ability to deliver messages. If you have a tamed snowy owl, then you can give it a piece of paper you wrote on and pick on of the people on this server to give it to. When you give the owl the person and paper, then it will fly all the way to that player and give them the note. Then the player can send the owl back to the original tamer. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Dec 2020 08:27 AM PST I think that Mojang should add an option in the create new world menu that lets you choose what dimension you spawn in when you first generate your world. Ever since the 1.16 nether update it is now possible for players to survive in the nether. The addition of 2 new wood types (Crimson and warped) as well as a new form of cobblestone (Blackstone) makes starting your survival adventure in the nether possible. To do this they would have to update the End. An idea I had for that linked below. https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/comments/kfqcve/chorus_blossom_and_the_drifter/ Tell me what yall think? [link] [comments] |
A New Villager concept: The Metalsmith Posted: 21 Dec 2020 12:17 PM PST I've been thinking about how Copper Blocks would be extremely hard to use in building based on their rarity. A lot of mining and searching and smelting would have to go into using copper in survival builds and such isn't that useful of a tool in building. It's a really good looking block in my opinion and I think there should be a way to have it be more available. My idea was that there could be an added Villager type that could trade for Copper Blocks. A Metalsmith. A metalsmith would likely take Coal, Iron and Gold (And maybe even Mine-carts) and would trade Copper Blocks, Chains, Lanterns, Mine-cart Tracks, Lightning Rods and anything metal that's not a tool or armor. To balance them, the trades for Copper Blocks would likely be a Master-Tier trade and cost many emeralds. A Metalsmith would be a good idea for making certain uncommon or hard to obtain items slightly more readily available and even renewable. It does run the risk of being overpowered however, but making the cost of a copper block high enough, I think it would work well. The biggest issue in my mind is the "Jobsite Block" (i.e. cartography tables for cartographers, smokers for butchers, etc). I'm not sure what would fit best to be honest. Blast Furnace is already taken, as well as every other metal-related block that could fit the bill. Even if a new villager wasn't implemented, updated trades for other villagers could be implemented to include 1.17 items. Copper could be included in the trades with Masons or Toolsmiths. Spyglasses could be implemented with Cartographer Trades, Amethysts with Clerics, Axolotls with Fishermen etc. This has been something I've mulled over for a while and am wondering if it's a good idea. Also it's my first time posting and I am not sure on the flair. Any thoughts and comments are appreciated! :) [link] [comments] |
During thunderstorms, thunder and rain occur in savannahs. Posted: 21 Dec 2020 01:22 PM PST (includes sub-biomes, e.g. shattered savannah) In real life, there is occasional rain in savannahs, but more common than in deserts. This could be reflected in the game by having a special case where in thunderstorms, the savannah biomes act as if they have a temperature of, say, 0.95. Please feel free to discuss below :) [link] [comments] |
Shovels in Jeb’s combat snapshots Posted: 21 Dec 2020 04:04 PM PST Shovels should disable camera movement for 0.25-0.5 seconds when landing a critical hit on another player (hit whilst at the height of a jump, causing "x" particles to appear). This would effectively "stun" players and could prove useful when used in conjunction with other weapons. The camera lock would be extremely brief to keep it fair though, this isn't a stun grenade on a stick. Thoughts? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Dec 2020 11:04 AM PST It would be cool because you could see farther using the spyglass. This could give it an edge over things like optifine zoom, which just zooms in [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Dec 2020 02:23 PM PST This is an idea for a new enchantment called "Ender Gaze". You would find it exclusively in end cities. Put it on your helmet, and endermen no longer get angry at you when you look them in the eyes. [link] [comments] |
The offhand slot in Bedrock edition needs to be as versatile as it is in Java. Posted: 21 Dec 2020 06:47 AM PST There are many awesome things you can do with the offhand slot in Java. You can hold a bow in your offhand, which means that by holding a looting 3 sword in your main hand and shooting mobs from your off hand, you get the loot. You can also have an enchanted fishing rod in your off hand and the effect will carry to a normal one in your main hand. [link] [comments] |
Dispensers with renamed name tags should name mobs Posted: 21 Dec 2020 03:52 PM PST If a dispenser has a renamed name tag in it, it should apply that name tag and rename any mob that is on the block the dispenser is facing. It could work kind of like how a dispenser can equip armour on players, villagers and variations of the skeleton/zombie. [link] [comments] |
You should be able to see invisible players if you have night vision Posted: 21 Dec 2020 03:46 PM PST Title says it all pretty much, would be cool if there was a way to see invisible people. [link] [comments] |
Freezing damage is super underpowered. Posted: 20 Dec 2020 09:10 PM PST When submerged in powder snow, it takes about 10ish seconds to even get the freezing effect, and then an additional 5 seconds for every half a heart of damage. This is way too slow. I think freezing damage should have a slightly slower speed than poison, while still giving you the slowness and screen overlay. This would benefit the game as it actually makes the freezing effect an actual danger. [link] [comments] |
A new Enchantment call HeavyWeight Posted: 21 Dec 2020 04:52 AM PST Can be enchant from level 1 to level 4. Apply only on chest plate (any type). It decrease the knock back on an enemy projectile or simply attack from swords or mob's attack. But in return of having this enchantment you will suffer a bit of slowness. Can be found from enchanting in an enchanting table or found in generated chests. [link] [comments] |
