Why is that? I hear you ask... Well, we as a community aim to shape the survival gamemode in a way that improves challenge, replayability, and increases fun altogether. We do this by adding tons of content that matches well with the vanilla-minecraft theme, to the base game. A lot of systems are already set up. 30+ custom monsters that are absolutely terrifying (with bosses and engame content after the end to follow in the near future). Over 100+ custom items that add something unique to survival gameplay. LANDS (The best claim/towny/factions plugin out there). We have a spawn-area filled up with NPCs that sell you all sorts of items, perks and services. You can even craft your own custom portals with blocks ingame! However, it is best to experience all of this for yourself. Words are just.. words :/ All feedback from players is listened to and considered. In addition to that, anyone that is a part of Hidden Sanctuary is encouraged to help with the server's development. By that I mean design content we will later use in the WorldGenerators upon server release. The three WorldGenerators we use are TERRA, BetterEND and BetterNether. Revolutionary world generation, custom items, monsters that compliment the vanilla base game, and a ton of tweaks that make the vanilla world a lot more dangerous are just the start. Our server features a number of quality-of-life plugins such as Towny, McMMO, and markets in addition to community-created seasonal events. Additionally, there are dozens of custom item rewards from crates and a permanent quest line that is available year-round around our majestic, alpine-themed server spawn. Features Tranquility's Overworld features a massive 3 million block radius and death here does not result in inventory loss. Tolkien's Middle-earth in the late Third Age exactly as it was described in the books in one of the largest and most detailed Minecraft maps ever created. As ambitious as this sounds, we have been established and working since November of 2014, and have about 30% of our enormous map and hundreds of individual projects completed. As you can see, we're dedicated and aren't going anywhere! Our community is tight-knit (some players have even met up IRL) but we welcome enthusiastic new players.
