    Hello everyone!

    Astra is an incredibly old non-profit server, and through the years, we have grown a community and formed our own identity as a server.

    Information about Astra

    🏠 We have formatted our server in such a way that promotes the creation of cities and businesses.

    There are certain requirements that a city or country must meet for it to be recognized as official. These can range from how many members they have, to city banners and such.

    🌍 We also have a Dynmap (full server map on a website for live viewing).

    Personally, I find it really fun to just wander around the world, and finding these various destinations - seeing what our community has put together.

    👥 Despite the fact that we're a lot in this community, we all get along. That's something rare that I haven't seen on many other servers.

    No, you don't need to be 18+ to join our server. I have always found that rule on other servers quite idiotic considering people mature at different ages, so that's not something you should worry about.

    We have an active staff team - handpicked members that I find suitable to be staff. All our staff members are long-time players of Astra.

    🧰 We also have a few custom plugins just to spice it up a little (e.g. you can vote in chat for the time of day, report others, list all cities, view relics (exceptional or sentimental builds handpicked by staff & the community), a world map, and much more.

    There are quite a few data packs as well (vanilla tweaks). Our players are also able to check by themselves who has interacted with their build/storage without needing staff to do it. This saves everyone a lot of time.

    Chertia [SMP] {Whitelist} {Story} {Events} {RP} {16+}

    Introduction

    Welcome to Chertia! Chertia is a semi-vanilla survival server set in a land of gods, magic and monsters known as the Kingdom of Chertia. This server is heavily inspired by Mianite, but has evolved over time. We've created our own identity with completely new characters and an ongoing story that everyone is able to contribute to in some way or another.

    Throughout your adventures on Chertia, you will encounter and interact with gods. Regular (usually 2-4 times weekly) events ranging from fun games to perilous adventures will keep you engaged with the server in a unique way.

    The server is on normal difficulty and is hosted in Montréal, Québec. It runs on PaperMC.

    Season 3 began on Friday, January 22, 2021.

    The Story

    You are thrown into the mysterious world of Ahiro, in the Kingdom of Chertia. More specifically, the province of Snowdrop. The province is inhabited by three gods, including Mani and Sol, who are working with the players to try and stop an evil spirit, as well as end a war between two factions in the kingdom.

    The gods are:

    • Mani, god of the moon
    • Sol, goddess of the sun
    • Vitharr

    There are some other characters that you may come across as well. For example:

    • Osmond Rune, follower of Sol
    • Aadny, a fae follower of Mani
    • Hjalmar, a Woodscadre warrior who has it out for Mani

    Additionally, each player has their own player character. If you want to start making your own player character, click here to view the guidelines and template.

    Server Events

    While the schedule shifts from week to week, the following is the norm at the moment:

    • Every Friday night, we host a major story event where some of the characters will be on the server, interacting with the players and advancing the server's storyline.
    • On most Saturdays or Sundays, we host Roleplay events where players have the opportunity to get into character and roleplay their hearts out, creating their own stories and fun moments that make Chertia special.
    • Other days, you might have the chance to run into a god - they'll log on whenever they feel like it and start interacting. Be prepared at all times!
    • We usually try to host 2-4 events per week, including game nights & pvp events!

    The Server

    Chertia is mainly a semi-vanilla survival server. While we do have plenty of custom features, items and enchantments, these are mostly optional and can be ignored if you wish for a more traditional 'vanilla survival' experience.

    There are some commands that might be useful to know as you begin your adventure on Chertia. For a list of most available commands, view the page here.

    Roleplay is not required, but there is often roleplay going on! We like to distinguish this with a dedicated 'in-character' mode, where each player can identify themselves as roleplaying (or wanting to roleplay) in the tablist and switch to a special 'character name'.

    Server Rules

    Please keep these in mind as you begin your adventure.

    1. You may not grief or steal from other players.
    2. You may not use a hacked client, x-ray resource pack (or similar), or any other modification which provides you with an advantage over others. You may not exploit bugs or glitches to provide you with an advantage (duping, etc.). All client modifications should be approved by staff; a list of already acceptable modifications can be found below.
    3. Be respectful of others. Harassment, bullying, racism, homophobia, or any similar behaviour will not be tolerated. You must maintain appropriate behaviour at all times on the server, especially during events.
    4. You may not use macros or external programs to help you with automatic farming. Your farms must be respectful of server resources and mechanics. Raid farms, AFK fishing farms, piglin farms, any iron farms, and certain other farms are not allowed. Consult a staff member for specifics; if you don't do this, we have the ability to remove the farm if it is not allowed.
    5. You may not engage in non-consensual PVP. Exceptions apply in certain circumstances, such as single punches and attempts to stop harassment/annoying behaviours.
    6. The answer to the last question on the whitelist application is "cardigans".

    Joining the Server

    To request placement on the whitelist, please join the Discord server here. We do ask that applicants are at least 16 years of age. Note that our whitelist system is automated; please ensure you read the rules before you submit your application or it won't be accepted - our system will know if you have read them or not based on your application.

    Our Discord server is a friendly, welcoming place with its own set of rules linked in the document above. We have several different on-topic and off-topic channels, including a 'best-of' starboard channel (which is full of gems).

    Server Content

    Making Chertia content is strongly encouraged! Upload to YouTube, stream to Twitch, create screenshot galleries, draw some art, write character lore, anything your heart desires! Post it to the subreddit and the Discord for some visibility (and appreciation)! Chertia is a place to shape your own story and unleash your creativity. :)

    We have a dedicated community of artists and writers who are consistently contributing to Chertia! Take a look through our #skins-and-art channel in Discord to see plenty of examples.

    Datapacks & Custom Content

    There are a few datapacks on the server to improve the overall experience. They are:

    • Dragon Drops Elytra (VanillaTweaks)
    • Silence Mobs (VanillaTweaks)
    • Anti Enderman Grief (VanillaTweaks)
    • William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld
    • Incendium

    There are also some additional alterations to the server, such as...

    • 33% of players sleeping will skip the night.
    • Discord/Minecraft connectivity - there is a #server-chat channel in Discord that relays communication between the Discord and the server. Like this!
    • Local chat - you can type @[radius] at the start of your message to send a local message (this won't appear in the Discord).
    • Group chats - set up a group chat with our easy-to-use integrated system. You can find more details on the commands page.
    • Emotes - do /e and bring up the emotes menu.
    • We have a Dynmap!

    Finally, there are some minor tweaks to mob spawning and other aspects of the server which tie into the story and concept. The server is vanilla survival at its core.

    This is a small vanilla server with a few vanilla tweaks. We started out as a small group of friends from Germany. We are in our mid 20s and have been enjoying Minecraft since our school years. We have always been keen on playing together and having fun in this virtual world.

    Living in a world not only by ourselves is a lot more enjoyable and fun! Seeing buildings grow and other things being built from other people is just a great feeling and gives so much joy.

    After a break from many of us, we are happy to get some new and active members around who enjoy doing stuff by themselves and as a community. There's still a lot of unfinished projects. A few fun games at a mini game hub have been created + a netherhub outline.

    There are many abandoned bases, depending on who's base it is, these bases may be claimed and brought back to life. If that is not your thing, there are many unclaimed lands around.

    There are no set rules on where you have to be on the server, it would be cool if we are all closer together so we can see each other from time to time or build bigger projects together. I happen to be terraforming a huge mountain range and a mountain cabin village and some wizard tower ( which is nearly complete... the wizard tower, not the mountains :P). Anyone is happy to be part of this massive project. Together is always better than alone :-).

    Features:

    This is a vanilla server and there are no mods installed. We are running on papermc with a few little tweaks that visually don't change the vanilla gameplay but improve the multiplayer smoothness by a lot. Paper also helps me figure out lag issues a lot better, if there are any.

    We do everything in survival, no creative or other game modes. There will be no commands for items/levels/spawning etc. Literally the scoreboard command will be used, because we like to see how often someone dies when pressing tab.

    We are testing out some data pack just to tweak vanilla experience a tiny bit. These are not final and might be changed in the future, depending on what the majority thinks is too much or needs to be added.

    Following Data packs are currently installed:

    Mob Heads have a chance of dropping on a kill (Reason: Fun)

    Player Heads will drop if killed by a player (Reason: Fun)

    The Enderdragon will drop an elytra (Reason: this helps the long marches through the end when it's been raided for thousands of blocks already)

    Shulkers drop 2 shells each (Reason: Same as above)

    XYZ and Time Display (Reason: Ability to show only the Coordinates and Direction instead of the whole F3 screen, which is overwhelmed by information and text)

    AFK Display (Reason: To see if someone is afk and not active)

    Multiplayer Sleep (Reason: Only 50% of the people online have to sleep to skip the night. We have changed this from 1 player sleep this week and it seems to be better this way)

    As with every decision, I as a server owner will ask my fellow members and debate on new data packs or community projects. I'd love for you to help me out with new community projects and ideas! This is not just about my ideas, we are all working in this world together! (At least in the Community area, your bases and farms are all private property 👌🏻)

    Advanced-Kind Is A New SMP Towny Server

    That is probably one of the most overused server descriptions in Minecraft Multiplayer history, but this server is far more than that. We aim to create a gameplay experience that is centered around Towny and its community creation capabilities. We plan on bringing Towny to the modern Minecraft server scene, with all the features we have grown used to and some more. But we will also keep balance as our goal. Access to plugin commands and functions will be tailored to enhance the gameplay without killing the difficulty of the game. The best way to describe our approach to gameplay would be Vanilla+.

    One Beautiful World

    We have a fully rendered custom generated world that will bring Towny and player creativity to new heights. No client-side lag, and no server-side lag. The most beautiful beaches you have ever seen, surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains and brought to life with lush forests to get lost in. All while still feeling like a Minecraft world.

    Rethinking the Towny-Economy

    The players drive the economy. No Admin shop, no P2W features. However, there is another, very important, agent in Advanced-Kind's economy. The cities themselves. Towns will be able to choose from a variety of production centers to build and upgrade over time as their population grows.

    Mines, sawmills, farms, and much more. All unique advantages to living in a town, custom coded, and exclusive to our server. They will provide a source of regenerative resources that will re-balance gameplay around them.

    Those who wish to explore the world in search of resources will still be able to, but as time passes towns will grow in production capacity while natural ores dwindle.

    Advanced-Kind was started by Towny veterans and it's intended for both dedicated Towny & Factions players and for anyone looking for a welcoming community.     We have lots of features and most of them are explained thru our in-game NPC tutorials. However, we have tried, whenever possible, to give players the chance to skip them so no one has to bother with a feature they don't enjoy.

    Rules:

    1-Be respectful to other players and Staff.

    2-Only use English in General chat and when talking with Staff.

    3-Do not engage in toxicity or trolling. In any chat.

    4-Do not spam general chats.

    5-Do not advertise other Minecraft servers, Discords, and/or websites.

    6-Cheating is not allowed. Modified clients that provide any sort of advantage are not allowed. Mods and texture packs such as X-Ray are not allowed. (Optifine is allowed)

    7-Do not use exploits. Whether from Vanilla Minecraft or specific to ADK, they are not allowed.

    8-AFK farming and client automation are not allowed.

    9-Do not exchange IRL money for in-game items, currency or services.

    10-Griefing is not allowed in the wild. You're not allowed to destroy terrain around a town with the objective of making it ugly.

    11-You're not allowed to claimblock or destroy the terrain outside of other towns.

    12-Terraforming is allowed, however, excessive terrain destruction is not.

    13-Follow Staff indications when required.

    A server where you can make friends that last. This server does not censor chat so it is recommended that you are 18+. Ragnarok is a server where you can build, fly, make a shop, or even just play vanilla survival! The choice is up to you. You will also be rewarded for various things such as making great builds or inviting your friends. If you like proving that you are the best, we also have build contests every month. Also, be sure to participate in the player based economy. If you have any questions there is a great community and everyone here will be willing to help.

    What we have to offer:

    1. Warps to help you get around from the market, bank, public grinders, etc.
    2. An economy that is run by players and the admin shop
    3. Monthly build contests and a gallery to show off your skills
    4. access to multiple homes through the /home command
    5. /back command allows you to get back to your last location

    2. Put a sign on your builds with your name on it
    3. Use common sense
    4. No exploits
    5. Absolutely no unwanted sexual harassment
    6. No private grinders, we have public ones
    7. Auto-farms must have an off button, and they must be off when you log out
    8. Building within 500 blocks of /warp town is forbidden
    9. All Redstone machines must be kept below 10x10x10 in size

    We offer many different plugins to allow for a great experience, we use such plugins as follows:

    We are a new and upcoming server that wishes to be 100% player driven economy.

    Staff will not refund any items lost to the vacuum for any reason. Refer to the scoreboard before dropping any items.

    Griefing any claimed land by a town including outposts (that isn't your own town) is NOT allowed UNLESS the mayor has specifically set it to allow outsiders/residents to acces, build, destroy, or switch in the claimed land. If you can acces it, you can break and take items.

    Do not intentionally interfere with towns (that are not your own) with their expansion or design. This includes but is not limited to the following: ring claiming, building walls around towns that are not your own, TNT cannons, intentional creeper explosions, lava and water pyramids, and claiming outposts/towns near another town to prevent expansion.

    Craftopia is a small but extremely performant, semi-vanilla experience with a focus towards community, world building, and technical builds.

    Hi, we're Purple! Purple SMP is a small, tight-knit server, focusing on community and long term projects! We are starting a new season, on a fresh seed, with communal areas and projects planned, including a shopping district at spawn, big technical builds (a quad witch farm for example) and a trading hall.

We're all a very close knit community composed of friends, in a very friendly environment, which you'll surely get attached to. I also do graphics things so I made a lot of costom emojis for the server and the collection is growing. The only restrain is not using hacked client, and gentelman rules like, you know, don't grief and that kind of stuff. Other than turning the server in an anarchy environment, can do anything.

    Final Heaven Streamers Server [Semi-Vanilla] {Whitelist}

    Currently have a survival world with a few current streamers looking for more chill people that want to join and help grow the server and your user platform together. The server is pretty active on the weekends and right now everyone is located on the East Coast time zone. Its pretty much full vanilla but we do have a land protection mod to protect town buildings and to protect players houses, (you can earn more land blocks).     Continuity Craft doesn't have land claim... How are you safe from griefers?

    We have a custom coded jail plugin that keeps all rule breakers at spawn in a displayable jail. There are public executions which all players can teleport to and see when a player is decided guilty of hacking. This plugin is very cool and is a great incentive not to hack!

    We use a whitelist administration process to filter who we allow onto the server.

    It can be found in our #how-to-apply channel on discord.

    This application will help us figure out who to admit! Take it seriously and answer honestly and there should not be a problem! Moderators and the owner are responsible for reviewing applications!

    In addition, we use coreprotect which is a very effective anti-grief plugin. We have helpers and moderators equipped with the knowledge of land recovery to keep players feeling safe.

    We have started a brand new map and we do not plan on resetting anytime soon, now is a perfect time to join. The server is only a little over a MONTH old!

    Continuity Craft's Mission Statement and Transparency

    We are going to provide you a great experience through vanilla Minecraft. That is our goal. We will never disgrace the server by adding in any plugins that are game-changing besides our few edits to accommodate our many active players.

    Here are our necessary edits and plugins

    • The dragon drops an elytra upon death, this is to prevent a massive disadvantage because the end has been rigorously busted. This will be changed soon however, when our custom end plugin is completed!
    • When 15% of the online player base sleeps at night, it will change to day.
    • MoreMobHeads to add a fun cosmetic aspect to our game, you can also trade with wandering villagers to trade for mini-blocks!
    • Voting: To accommodate for new players not having access to shulkers or sponges, we have added a 5% reward to our 6 daily votes to receive either of the two. This balances this aspect and accommodates all players while not causing an oversaturation within the community.

    Staff and Ranks

    On our server you an equal member of the community, everything we know you deserve to know. We do have an option to donate, and we have donator ranks. There is no in game items or commands provided to these players. Donators head's are placed at spawn and they are given a colored name.

    Well then what do donators get?

    Donators receive a colored name based on the rank they provide. MVP is orange and VIP is light blue.

    We have just recently added cosmetic crate keys which the community is very excited about!

    We have two ranks:

    MVP: $5.00 monthly

    VIP: $2.50 monthly

    The prices of these ranks are capped very low because we do not want a large amount of money from any singular player. We want the experience to be as low cost as possible for as many players as possible so by employing this donation system most players can play for free and those that do wish to support us do not have to pay much. We will always share how much we have received in donations and even how we are deciding to spend it.

    In addition, we are completely transparent about any dilemmas regarding media influencers, high ranked staff, or any fundamental changes within the server.

    Your Voice Matters!

    Any changes to the server will be run through our community. No changes through executive decision will be made. The owner and staff agree that what is best for the server is what the majority decides.

    Big changes will be broadcasted to the community and feedback through polling and vocal opinions will be heavily considered.

    So it's a vanilla server, what is the big deal? What makes Continuity Craft different?

    Continuity Craft is a vanilla server. That being said, what makes Continuity Craft the best place to spend your time is due to how our community operates. The rules on our land claims are completely unique and you have not seen a server that successfully operates under the same parameters.

    • These are the rules, they are simple. There is absolutely no hacking or griefing. Chat must be kept appropriate to the liking of whichever staff member is online. There will be no racism or homophobic language. Duping will not be met with consequence as this is vanilla, but game breaking exploits will be dealt with by operators. Dupes that have been around for years such as carpet/rail dupes are allowed as this is a vanilla server.
    • There are community enforced property rights. Where you can build is organized by word of mouth. Owning an area of land is accomplished simply by building on it. The player that owns a piece of land has property rights. For example, if they do not want someone building close to them they are allowed to remove them by force. (Applies only if someone is building unnecessarily close) If they do not want someone on their land and someone is trespassing they are allowed to kill them. In unclaimed area on this server PVP is permissible but not looked well upon.
    • There are weekly events. For example, once a week we have the Continuity Cup where in our community made colosseum there is a large scale brawl. The kits are provided by the event host and the winner will receive awesome rewards. More importantly the winner will be able to possess the Victory Banner found in the center of the arena for a week before returning it for the next Cup. Other events include parkour, build battles, and more!
    • Griefing is handled by our many staff team members. To be honest with you, we have had no serious problems with griefing, our staff team and our community are a strong group and work very well together.
    • All players are on a global database, meaning if someone griefs all it takes is one command to completely remove their existence from the server!

    ProfessorJiggly's Realm [Realms] {17+}

    We're a group of friends who have a vanilla realm set up that we have sunk quite a few hours into, we play casually although rather regularly (between work/university etc.)

    We're looking for new people to bring into the realm in order to make the server a little busier without overcrowding and to have more long-term players etc. (no server hoppers please!) and in general looking for people who are mature enough to contribute to the server and respect each other,

    We have several datapacks built into the server that are just small quality of life changes mostly such as:
