    Introduction

    Welcome to Chertia! Chertia is a semi-vanilla survival server set in a land of gods, magic and monsters known as the Kingdom of Chertia. This server is heavily inspired by Mianite, but has evolved over time. We've created our own identity with completely new characters and an ongoing story that everyone is able to contribute to in some way or another.

    Throughout your adventures on Chertia, you will encounter and interact with gods. Regular (usually 2-4 times weekly) events ranging from fun games to perilous adventures will keep you engaged with the server in a unique way.

    The server is on normal difficulty and is hosted in Montréal, Québec. It runs on PaperMC.

    Season 3 began on Friday, January 22, 2021.

    The Story

    You are thrown into the mysterious world of Ahiro, in the Kingdom of Chertia. More specifically, the province of Snowdrop. The province is inhabited by three gods, including Mani and Sol, who are working with the players to try and stop an evil spirit, as well as end a war between two factions in the kingdom.

    The gods are:

    • Mani, god of the moon
    • Sol, goddess of the sun
    • Vitharr

    There are some other characters that you may come across as well. For example:

    • Osmond Rune, follower of Sol
    • Aadny, a fae follower of Mani
    • Hjalmar, a Woodscadre warrior who has it out for Mani

    Server Events

    While the schedule shifts from week to week, the following is the norm at the moment:

    • Every Friday night, we host a major story event where some of the characters will be on the server, interacting with the players and advancing the server's storyline.
    • On most Saturdays or Sundays, we host Roleplay events where players have the opportunity to get into character and roleplay their hearts out, creating their own stories and fun moments that make Chertia special.
    • Other days, you might have the chance to run into a god - they'll log on whenever they feel like it and start interacting. Be prepared at all times!
    • We usually try to host 2-4 events per week, including game nights & pvp events!

    The Server

    Chertia is mainly a semi-vanilla survival server. While we do have plenty of custom features, items and enchantments, these are mostly optional and can be ignored if you wish for a more traditional 'vanilla survival' experience.

    There are some commands that might be useful to know as you begin your adventure on Chertia. For a list of most available commands, view the page here.

    Roleplay is not required, but there is often roleplay going on! We like to distinguish this with a dedicated 'in-character' mode, where each player can identify themselves as roleplaying (or wanting to roleplay) in the tablist and switch to a special 'character name'.

    Community Rules

    Please keep these in mind as you begin your adventure.

    1. You may not grief or steal from other players.
    2. You may not use a hacked client, x-ray resource pack (or similar), or any other modification which provides you with an advantage over others. You may not exploit bugs or glitches to provide you with an advantage (duping, etc.). All client modifications should be approved by staff; a list of already acceptable modifications can be found below.
    3. Be respectful of others. Harassment, bullying, racism, homophobia, or any similar behaviour will not be tolerated. You must maintain respectful and appropriate behaviour at all times, especially during events.
    4. You may not use macros or external programs to help you with automatic farming. Your farms must be respectful of server resources and mechanics. Raid farms, AFK fishing farms, piglin farms, any iron farms, and certain other farms are not allowed. Consult a staff member for specifics; if you don't do this, we have the ability to remove the farm if it is not allowed.
    5. You may not engage in non-consensual PVP. Exceptions apply in certain circumstances, such as single punches and attempts to stop harassment/annoying behaviours.
    6. Please try not to talk over others in voice chat. If it happens, apologize and move on. Punishments will only be applied in situations where members are steamrolling others, or complaints are made to members of staff.
    7. Do not spam chat, advertise, or self-promote (without permission). Keep chat in the relevant channels.
    8. The answer to the last question on the whitelist application is "cardigans".

    Joining the Server

    To request placement on the whitelist, please join the Discord server here. We do ask that applicants are at least 16 years of age. Note that our whitelist system is automated; please ensure you read the rules before you submit your application or it won't be accepted - our system will know if you have read them or not based on your application.

    Our Discord server is a friendly, welcoming place with its own set of rules linked in the document above. We have several different on-topic and off-topic channels, including a 'best-of' starboard channel (which is full of gems).

    Server Content

    Making Chertia content is strongly encouraged! Upload to YouTube, stream to Twitch, create screenshot galleries, draw some art, write character lore, anything your heart desires! Post it to the subreddit and the Discord for some visibility (and appreciation)! Chertia is a place to shape your own story and unleash your creativity. :)

    We have a dedicated community of artists and writers who are consistently contributing to Chertia! Take a look through our #skins-and-art channel in Discord to see plenty of examples.

    Datapacks & Custom Content

    There are a few datapacks on the server to improve the overall experience. They are:

    • Dragon Drops Elytra (VanillaTweaks)
    • Silence Mobs (VanillaTweaks)
    • Anti Enderman Grief (VanillaTweaks)
    • William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld
    • Incendium

    There are also some additional alterations to the server, such as...

    • 33% of players sleeping will skip the night.
    • Discord/Minecraft connectivity - there is a #server-chat channel in Discord that relays communication between the Discord and the server. Like this!
    • Local chat - you can type @[radius] at the start of your message to send a local message (this won't appear in the Discord).
    • Group chats - set up a group chat with our easy-to-use integrated system. You can find more details on the commands page.
    • Emotes - do /e and bring up the emotes menu.
    • We have a Dynmap!

    Finally, there are some minor tweaks to mob spawning and other aspects of the server which tie into the story and concept. The server is vanilla survival at its core.

    MCSMP [Semi-Vanilla] [SMP] {Whitelist} {1.16.5}

    MCSMP is a minecraft server I made roughly two weeks ago. We currently have 23 active-ish members (5/8 are on at least 2/3 hours a day). Everyone is <10,000mins so you wouldn't be massively behind.

    Everyone is allowed to join we have a whitelist but this doesn't require an application to be added. Our main demographic is 14 - 18 however anyone can join. Main player base is UK / Europe but again anyone can join. Seed is public so players can use chunkbase etc. We also allow players with cracked accounts to join, this is not exclusively cracked however. We have a shopping district at spawn and plan to have a nether hub and games district too.

    Plugins: (all can be found at Vanilla Tweaks - Datapacks if you want a proper description):

    Armour Statues, Fast Leaf Decay, AFK Display, Multiplayer Sleep, Custom Nether Portals, Durability Ping, Track Statistics, Terracotta Rotation Wrench, Player Head Drops, Anti Enderman Grief, Double Shulker Shells, Dragon Drops, More Mob Heads, Custom Villager Shops (to buy heads), Wandering Trades - Blocks Only, Nether Portal Coords.

    As well as specific custom crafting recipes. We are open to changes in the data packs etc.

    Rules:

    1. No griefing, I dont like faction plugins and so wont be using those, meaning we relly on trust don't destroy / vandalise someones builds (pranks are ok)

    2. No stealing, either from bases or shops as there isnt a way of locking chests be respectful and only take stuff with the consent of the owner (or if its a shop at the set price)

    3. Don't build within 500 blocks of spawn as it is going to be a shopping district and we need room to expand.

    4. Don't build within 250 blocks of another user without their permission.

    5. Shops / farms can be shared by either forming a group (symbolised by a banner / map logo) or with consent of the original builder.

    6. Nether portals are to be built at Y60 to link to the Nether hub (you can build at different Ys this is just so people have an idea of where the hub will be)

    7. Post base locations in #coords this is because of us wanting a community feel people are freely allowed to explore / prank your base however they can't destroy, steal whilst there.

    8. No x-ray.

    9. We do allow client side mods such as optifine or litematica, if you want a specific one and are unsure please ask.

    10. Cracked accounts are allowed. 11. Websites such as chunkbase can be used to find: biomes, slime chunks or structures.

    11. AFKing at farms is permitted and there is no log out time

    12. Shops must have a build simmilar to the theme of what they are selling 14. Shops must have an enderchest

    13. Shops must be lit up

      1. Any damage done in community areas (Shopping, Nether hub (coming soon) or gaming district (@Sixmagic is looking for a location)) must be repaired by the person responcible (this mainly means creeper damage).Message #rules

    BlizzardSMP is this huge island covered from head to toe in snow. The SMP will follow a roleplay based story line consisting of two major factions trying to coexist in the same world.     No BSFactions [PVP] {Factions} {Geyser} {MCMMO}

    I've been working on a small factions server and want to share it while its in beta.

    The Server is crossplatform with Bedrock through Geyser, Even Xbox users should be able to join through a proxy system (Just look it up). Though Geyser Users may have a whitelist error, just keep reconnecting and it should work.

    We have plenty of plugins such as MCMMO, Minepacks, and essentials

    The whole point of the server is I want it all to be free. None of that "BS" donator rewards like flight to break the game or broken kits. EVERYONE WILL HAVE THE SAME ADVANTAGE.

    It's a very casual server so feel free to join and say hello, There's a high chance either me (Poufee) or the other mod named DeLaPoopDemon will be on.

    Please understand I wont be on all the time because of work and school but I'll try to at least get 1 log in a day to troubleshoot.

    A vanilla Minecraft server for all Java players young and old.

    BASE RULES Failure to follow these rules will result in a kick/ban.

    1. DON'T STEAL This is the most important rule. Simply DO NOT touch or otherwise take anything that is not yours. Failure to follow this rule will result in an INSTANT BAN from the server without opportunity for appeal.
    2. DON'T GRIEF Do not grief other people's builds. Do not alter the landscape (wilderness) if you don't intend to build on it. Do not attack other players without their permission. Refer to Rule 9 for PVP rules.
    3. DON'T BE A JERK The server chat is for all ages. That means no racism, sexism, foul language or other discriminatory comments. Do not harass or troll other players on voice chat or in-game. No spam or advertising. You are encouraged to only speak English in the chat to avoid unnecessary conflicts.
    4. NO HACKS / NO CHEATING Do not use X-ray, block/item duplication hacks, fly-hacking or bug exploits. ASK FIRST if you are unsure about using any third-party tool that can potentially be considered cheating.
    5. You are ALLOWED to steal in the nether. This DOES NOT mean you can be an asshole. This means you ARE ALLOWED to grief in the nether. All the other rules not stated here still apply in the nether
    6. No spawning withers in the Overworld or end dimension. This one is pretty easy to understand
    7. DO NOT harrass any of the Moderators or staff This includes asking to be teleported to a friend or other player Asking for food or any loot
    8. Lastly have FUN! This is a fun chill server meant to feel like a safe space to build create and survive DONT ruin that for others by breaking these rules...

    I joined the server 1 year ago from this very subreddit. The discord server is very active and we talk a lot and plan abouth what we'll do when we reset (we have some wild plans), which will happen as soon as 1.17 drops. We're all a very close knit community composed of friends, in a very friendly environment, which you'll surely get attached to. I also do graphics things so I made a lot of costom emojis for the server and the collection is growing. The only restrain is not using hacked client, and gentelman rules like, you know, don't grief and that kind of stuff. Other than turning the server in an anarchy environment, can do anything.

    Advanced-Kind Is A New SMP Towny Server

    That is probably one of the most overused server descriptions in Minecraft Multiplayer history, but this server is far more than that. We aim to create a gameplay experience that is centered around Towny and its community creation capabilities. We plan on bringing Towny to the modern Minecraft server scene, with all the features we have grown used to and some more. But we will also keep balance as our goal. Access to plugin commands and functions will be tailored to enhance the gameplay without killing the difficulty of the game. The best way to describe our approach to gameplay would be Vanilla+.

    One Beautiful World

    We have a fully rendered custom generated world that will bring Towny and player creativity to new heights. No client-side lag, and no server-side lag. The most beautiful beaches you have ever seen, surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains and brought to life with lush forests to get lost in. All while still feeling like a Minecraft world.

    Rethinking the Towny-Economy

    The players drive the economy. No Admin shop, no P2W features. However, there is another, very important, agent in Advanced-Kind's economy. The cities themselves. Towns will be able to choose from a variety of production centers to build and upgrade over time as their population grows.

    Mines, sawmills, farms, and much more. All unique advantages to living in a town, custom coded, and exclusive to our server. They will provide a source of regenerative resources that will re-balance gameplay around them.

    Those who wish to explore the world in search of resources will still be able to, but as time passes towns will grow in production capacity while natural ores dwindle.

    We have lots of features and most of them are explained thru our in-game NPC tutorials. However, we have tried, whenever possible, to give players the chance to skip them so no one has to bother with a feature they don't enjoy.

    Rules:

    1-Be respectful to other players and Staff.

    2-Only use English in General chat and when talking with Staff.

    3-Do not engage in toxicity or trolling. In any chat.

    4-Do not spam general chats.

    5-Do not advertise other Minecraft servers, Discords, and/or websites.

    6-Cheating is not allowed. Modified clients that provide any sort of advantage are not allowed. Mods and texture packs such as X-Ray are not allowed. (Optifine is allowed)

    7-Do not use exploits. Whether from Vanilla Minecraft or specific to ADK, they are not allowed.

    8-AFK farming and client automation are not allowed.

    9-Do not exchange IRL money for in-game items, currency or services.

    10-Griefing is not allowed in the wild. You're not allowed to destroy terrain around a town with the objective of making it ugly.

    11-You're not allowed to claimblock or destroy the terrain outside of other towns.

    12-Terraforming is allowed, however, excessive terrain destruction is not.

    13-Follow Staff indications when required.

    We are a diverse community of friendly players who all share a love for Minecraft survival.     Im looking for friendly players who are skilled at building. we have a town were building at spawn.     The server has been up for around a year now. with only me and my friends builds. only a few automotive farms. the seed is a beautiful seed one of the most stunning I have ever seen. the end dimension hasn't been explored yet. I haven't gotten any netherite yet. and have not explored very far from spawn so for 1.17 it will be easy to load new chunks for cave exploring
