Magma Should Naturally Generate in Deep Caves Posted: 19 Apr 2021 01:25 PM PDT It geologically makes sense. The deeper you go down underground/in caves, it gets hotter and you see more molten rock and magma. This would also make a more fitting and logical challenge if players go deep underground to find ores, since ores like diamonds are more common the deeper you go. High risk and a high reward situation. If you like this idea, please vote for it on Minecraft Feedback: https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360077638591-Magma-Naturally-Generating-in-Deep-Caves [link] [comments] |
Make Maps not bobble and Move So Much when you Run. Posted: 19 Apr 2021 10:28 AM PDT It's super annoying when you a trying to use your map but you want to run. the map moves so much you can hardly use it. maybe make this in acceptably or just make it defult. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Apr 2021 12:15 PM PDT I've see lots of people complaining about not being able to wear armor and elytra at the same time. However the original feature allowed for some strategy(more defense or the ability to glide). I thought of an idea that would help this problem yet still keep the strategy, a new item slot called back-wear(above the offhand slot). This slot won't just be for elytra of course, you can carry specific items like weapons, bundles, and maybe banners to make your own cape. I feel like in order for this feature to feel important to add a couple of items that makes it seem more fleshed out. Here are some of my ideas: Leather cloak -keeps you from freezing in powdered snow. -made with leather. Back armor -makes any attack from behind take 25% less damage. -inverted recipe of sheild (iron replaces wood vice versa). Fins -drops from elder gaurdians (?). -lets you swim faster. Lava fins(?) -allows you to swim through lava (like you can in water). -does NOT prevent fire damage. -thinking that it could be dropped from striders or something. Glider -when you start falling you will slow for 2 seconds before going back into free fall. Rabbit cloak(?) -makes you jump about a half block higher. -made with rabbit hide. Air cloak(?) -pressing space midair will make you dash forward. I think this idea has a lot of potential, or maybe it is too much for minecraft, I dunno. Maybe if Mojang make other items like the elytra they might think this is an good idea? Either way I would love to see other suggestions for what can go in this slot(I'm not terribly creative...) Posted: 19 Apr 2021 03:56 AM PDT I think the signs should be improved, you can put them on the floor, on a wall, and even put a sign on a sign but you can't put them on the ceiling, it would be great for constructions! [link] [comments] |
New structure called abandoned miners rest area Posted: 19 Apr 2021 12:27 PM PDT It will just be a small area of a cave that will contain Iron pickaxes Iron armour Torches Food It will be a good place to restock if your low on items and will be found on the lowest parts of the caves and will be some what rare. Wandering traders should restock using their llamas. Posted: 19 Apr 2021 05:31 AM PDT I know that people have been trying to fix wandering traders for a while, and I think that this is a good solution. They carry around llamas so it would make sense if they restocked with them. This would be a bit much sometimes, for example infinite nautilus shells, and it might need something to make it make more sense. For example, they could only restock a limited number of times or not as often as other villagers. This would make wandering traders have more use for the limited things they sell, because sometimes you find something that you actually need but you can only ever get five or six. Posted: 19 Apr 2021 01:54 PM PDT If you sleep in a bed and skip night things will progress. When you skip the night these things will happen. 5-10 things will cook/smelt in a furnace. It will decrease the growth time of saplings, crops, and more by 10% It will decrease the growth time of animals, pets, fish, and villagers by 15% And more. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Apr 2021 10:07 PM PDT Now, I'm not going to sit here and talk about a way to add the luck effect, as there is already plenty of posts about it. However, I think that the Luck effect, instead of being a universal fortune, should increase all xp gains from the player with the effect to increase by x1(not that sure on the amount yet). This would apply to everything that can give you xp, including grindstones and furnaces. Why should this be added? Unless you've got a top tier late game farm, getting a good amount of xp is a hassle. This would just be a very potentially positive change, depending on how/whether the luck effect is introduced. That's it, cya. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Apr 2021 02:31 PM PDT This update completes the migration of Minecraft, here you can launch Bedrock Edition, Java Edition and Dungeons from the same launcher. New Tab For Java: Realms Instead of accessing realms in game you can now make changes inside the launcher, want to change a world for a friend but have to boot Minecraft first? That is now gone. The Launcher Hub: This is where previous game logs, accounts, preferences and account settings and details are sorted. Making it more accessible. Finally we have the Game Customiseation, optimising the perfect settings for users; adding custom panoramas, colour pallets, and even a dark mode. My suggestions are open for feedback. Hope you enjoyed. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Apr 2021 07:38 AM PDT Vermints are small, unfriendly mobs that like nothing more than to ruin your day. They follow Pillager gangs around, but can also be found spawning rarely in the wild from generated Dens, Hives and Mounds. While there are some uses for their antics, they can be a real problem. Rockoons are big fans of shiny things, specifically YOUR shiny things. Copper, Iron, Gold, even Diamonds. They'll rifle through your chests, stuff them straight into their pouches and scarper. They're surprisingly hard to keep out ever since they learned to open doors. But on the bright side, while you're chasing them off they might lead you back to a den full of pretty treasures, trinkets... and traps. Crowcusts have one big appetite, a swarm of them could strip your whole farm bare in a day. You'd better invest in some security for those carrots. While you might not like them eating your hard-grown food, there can be an upside to what they leave behind... so to speak. Poop. More specifically a rich fertiliser, which can turn your dirt from boring to bountiful and make everything from beetroots to birches grow faster. Be careful though, if you leave it lying in your field too long some weird plants tend to grow. A Thermite infestation can be hard to deal with. Every day they leave their mounds in search of wood to burn, and your house is first on the list. Before nightfall it'll be a pile of Ash Blocks. Stone isn't safe either, they'll burn it black just for fun. If you manage to trap one in a bucket then it'd make a nice furnace upgrade, but keep in mind that they'll probably still try to burn your house down. It's probably best to repel them with a line of Redstone dust: just one speck will make them go up in flames. [link] [comments] |

Forgotten mountain boss: The Red Dragon Posted: 19 Apr 2021 01:31 PM PDT A long time ago, Notch planned to add new boss to the game to the game, but it never happened... Now with new mountain generation it would make a lot of sense if the red dragon was finally added. It would spawn in the desolated tower or even a castle in the new mountain biome. That's all the ideas I came up with, so feel free to suggest its mechanics, loot, and etc. or submit your own suggestion on this sub! Original link: https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Java_Edition_mentioned_features#Red_Dragon P.S. English is not my first language so im sorry for all grammatical mistakes. Also I had this idea since new mountains were confirmed and i needed to tell someone about this. [link] [comments] |
Monsters will lost interest in you if they can't get to you Posted: 19 Apr 2021 04:19 PM PDT Currently, many monsters and many other neutral mobs are very easy because you just can collect a bunch of zombies in 1 place, place 3 blocks under you and just kill everyone without taking any damage. I think that monsters and any other neutral mobs should get away from you if they can't get to you (bot not forgive you, so once they can get to you they will attempt to kill you) [link] [comments] |
Cave Update Minor Improvement Ideas Posted: 19 Apr 2021 01:21 PM PDT Hi everyone, here are some caves and cliffs update improvements that I came up with. These are intended to be added after the two main updates as patches or a minor update. Enjoy! (btw please tell me if flair is wrong) Part 1: Bats Different Types of Bats Other than the normal type of bat, we should also have vampire bat and fruit bat. Vampire bats attack if you go within 8 blocks of it and there are no obstructions. They inflict the weakest forms of Poison, Slowness, and Blindness effects. Fruit bats bring various different types of fruits back to their nest. (will explain about nests later). If their nest is in or near a lush cave, they will also bring back glow berries. They might bring junk items as well. Normal and fruit bats should be trustable. Nests Nests will generate throughout caves. In the Lush Caves, only fruit bat nests will generate. Each nest should have a "nest block" similar to dirt or something else. The nest should have a dirt floor. If the nest block is destroyed and relocated, any bats that are currently wandering which sense the nest block will live there. Each naturally generated nest will have up to 10 bats. If the first bat to find a newly placed nest block is a vampire bat, only vampire bats will come to live there, and vice versa. Bat Breeding Normal bats and fruit bats can be bred with fruits. Vampire bats can be bred with meat, but it is dangerous just like hoglin breeding. Offspring will automatically live at the same nest as the parents. Part 2: Olms Olms should spawn in lakes or aquifers under y=32. They are similar to axolotls, but are not trustable and swim away when they hear you. Part 3: Villagers Cave Villagers Cave villagers are villagers that live in underground villages. They have slightly different trades and there is one new profession that trades ores, unrefined iron, gold, and copper, and other things found in caves. Wandering Trader Improvement Wandering Traders have a chance to sell Bucket of Axolotl, Glow Berries, Pointed Dripstone, and Deepslate. I hope you liked this! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Apr 2021 12:53 PM PDT Right now the turtle helmets are super hard to get and quite useless. They should give you water breathing for much longer plus let you see better under water. Maybe they could do one other thing. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Apr 2021 06:38 PM PDT Apples are a form of wild edibles currently in Minecraft. But it'd be better if there were other actual wild edibles. The point of wild edibles would be so that if the player happens to have a lack of food in their inventory, they can forage these wild edibles while adventuring. Or they can actively collect these edibles in the wild. Wild Edibles would give half or 1 hunger. These edibles will not be farmable. Wild Edibles

Desert Wells Contain Buried Desert Supply Crate Posted: 18 Apr 2021 05:05 PM PDT The sand beneath a desert well should hide a barrel with items that are not very precious but some could be useful in the early game. The barrel can contain: - Stone tools - Glass bottle (very common) - Water bottle (common) - Dead bush - Sand (common) - String - Rotten flesh - Bone - Gold Nuggets (very rarely) etc. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Apr 2021 02:10 PM PDT So, the Smithing Table outside of being used to create Netherite tools and armour as well as tool smith trades for a villager, the block is rather useless. I think it's one of the only blocks in the game that has an interface that is used simply for one action (not counting chests, those can be used in so many ways). See, my idea is that the Smithing Table should have the ability to upgrade our lower tier tools and armour to higher tier, like Iron -> gold, gold -> diamond. To those of you asking how this would work, I want to refer to the Stone Cutter and more specifically, crafting stairs in the Stone Cutter. If you aren't aware, using a basic crafting table requires 6 blocks to create 4 stairs. (about 1.5 blocks per individual stair) but by using a stone cutter, that number is changed to a 1 - 1 ratio, (4 blocks to craft 4 stairs). I think, if my idea was added, there could be a discount on materials, maybe 1 or 2 less for each piece of armour (So instead of needing 24 of an ingot type to craft, you would need 18 to upgrade them). Pros: More use for Smithing Table, More beneficial on resources, Slight declutter, enchantability increase, remove the hassle of re-enchanting armor/tools Cons: Less Reason to Enchant, high value enchants like eff 5, smite 5, looting being added to armour for free, Inexpensive Block Recipe Let me know what you think and if you'd change anything! Update cats and horses to have various running animations Posted: 19 Apr 2021 06:18 AM PDT A cats run/walk cycle in Minecraft doesn't make sense, and neither does the horse. Mojang should improve the animations to make it feel more realistic and immersive. Horses have a walk animation in which they move their hooves up and down like a real horse does. Horses can now trot, which involves a slightly faster, more bouncy version of the walking animation, and a few number of horses (very low chance when breeding) may possess a trait in which they make "burp" sounds while trotting due to extra air. Cantering happens when the horse enters a running animation, but not quite at full speed, so it's like a slow sort of gallop. Galloping is when the horse is at full or top speed and its legs stretch in and out very fast, enabling them to go very fast. A drawback of galloping is that the horse has to slow to a trot before it can stop, meaning it can damage itself if it hits something vertical like a tree. This does not count soft blocks or dirt/grass, but it can still be damaged by hay bales (as hay bales are compact), but reduced. These animations for the horse depend on the horses state (if fleeing or not), and speed. This allows horses to have more variance in speed and animation when changing from walking to running cycles. Cats also share these horse run/walk cycles, but faster to accommodate the small size, and cats have a much bouncier gallop than horses. Cats unlike horses, will evade any block that is higher than the cat can reach, like a wall for instance. A blur effect should be applied to cats when galloping/cantering, this because their small size and fluff (sometimes long), causes/adds to motion blur along with their speed. Motion mob blurring should be toggleable in the Options menu. Turned off by default, as it can lower performance. This may be a little too many suggestions in one, but the horse really needs a massive overhaul with an update, possibly known as the Animals Update or Mob Update, along with all animals and mobs that need sprucing up to really match their real-life counterparts. Posted: 19 Apr 2021 09:52 AM PDT Did you like the aggressive title? The wriggle would be a boss that you would find at the end of some narrow tunnelly caves that it created. These caves would come with a lot of monster blocks.(this could also be a new biome) The Wriggle would be huge and dig around the caves to attempt to suprise attack you. It has 2 main attacks crush and bite. Crush is when it digs above you wich does 10 damage. Bite is it rushing at you horizontally it does 7 damage. It has the health of 2 iron golems or 200 health. Keep in kind whenever it digs silver fish would come out of the monster blocks. So how do you defeat this monster? Firstly lava. Lava would be a quick way to take out the silver fish without sommoning more of them. To counter its rush you have to move out of the way because it can not turn easily. Thatvwill give an oppurtunity to attack. To counter the crush there are to ways dodge(wow genius) or use honey blocks to stick it in place. That will give another oppurtunity to attack. Let me know if my idea sucked. [link] [comments] |
