I'm Connor, and I host a vanilla server on my discord :) It has an extreme emphasis on having a great community, and everyone that joins has a blast getting to know everyone else. There's no plugins, except for quality of life stuff like one player sleep, armored elytra, and player heads. It retains the vanilla feeling but also adding some stuff for the experience. We are on our third year with a solid group of long term players. The server is in Montreal and sports 16GB of RAM and Hermitcraft datapacks. We ask that you be at least 16, but this is not a deal breaker. We are an active community with vibrantly personalities from across the world. Many players choose to play with friends and family. For an idea of what we've made, I've linked a few screenshots from our server, such as someone's base or our nether hub or giant farms. We have more pictures on our discord as well. We have a central town to build shops, and an area set aside just for building mini-games. Our server runs on diamonds and trust for currency, helping reinforce our community as we build. We have done many server events including a custom dimension and boss for Halloween, and a 3 month long build competition we called WAR. Our specific datapacks include: Just Minecraft Advancement- We have a custom advancement pack with over 100 additional advancements to get. Eat a beetroot to unlock them. Baby Mobs - a custom datapack that allows you to use a poisonous potato on a baby mob to prevent it growing up. AFK Name Changer - Displays a persons' name slightly lighter in the tab menu when they are AFK. Anti-Enderman Grief - Prevents endermen from picking up your stuff. Good riddance. Custom Armor Stands - Allows you to pose armor stands with the use of a special book. (The free book vendor can be found at spawn.) Dragon Drops Elytra - Self-explanatory. Double Shulker Shells - Shulkers will always drop two shells- guaranteed. More Mob Heads - Allows you to receive the respective mob head from any mob as a rare drop when killed. Multiplayer Sleep - Allows the progression to day with only one person sleeping Silence Mobs - Got a bunch of mobs making noise in your base? Rename a name tag to "silence me" without the quotes and the mob will no longer make noise. We run a few mods for server performance. Carpet Mod, Lithium and Phosphorus all help with lag and provide a few extra tools on the main server. Our creative server also has WorldEdit available and all players have access to the commands from Carpet Mod. Our core rules are pretty straight forward: No griefing. Griefing is the intentional destruction or deletion of others property. No stealing. No duplicating items, utilizing cheats, hacked clients, x-raying, or anything else that can give you an advantage that other players do not have. TNT entity duplication is allowed for the purposes of limited perimeter clearing, and in blast chambers for farms. World eaters are not allowed. No non-consensual PvP. Killing of other players without consent is highly frowned upon and can net you punishment. PvP that has been agreed to beforehand is allowed. Language Policy - No offensive, homophobic, sexist, racist, etc. statements. Do not harass other users. This is a family friendly server; several player have their children or young siblings play with them so please watch your language. Do not spam the chat. Pranks may be conducted. Chertia is a semi-vanilla survival server set in a land of gods, magic and monsters known as the Kingdom of Chertia. This server is heavily inspired by Mianite, but has evolved over time. We've created our own identity with completely new characters and an ongoing story that everyone is able to contribute to in some way or another. Throughout your adventures on Chertia, you will encounter and interact with gods. Regular (usually 2-4 times weekly) events ranging from fun games to perilous adventures will keep you engaged with the server in a unique way. The server is on normal difficulty and is hosted in Montréal, Québec. It runs on PaperMC. Season 3 began on Friday, January 22, 2021. The Story You are thrown into the mysterious world of Ahiro, in the Kingdom of Chertia. More specifically, the province of Snowdrop. The province is inhabited by three gods, including Mani and Sol, who are working with the players to try and stop an evil spirit, as well as end a war between two factions in the kingdom.

The Server Chertia is mainly a semi-vanilla survival server. While we do have plenty of custom features, items and enchantments, these are mostly optional and can be ignored if you wish for a more traditional 'vanilla survival' experience. As a server host, my goal is to make this server a sanctuary where players can learn how to become better builders and also learn the technical aspects of minecraft; Ideally a nice mix between Hermitcraft and SciCraft. We are looking for all players of all playstyles that would be interested in this kind of world and who would play long term. This is an 18+ mature and friendly community, with players from all around the world. The Crescent SMP is an upcoming Survival Multiplayer server that involves roleplaying, writing, scripting, and more! DeJure Craft blends 1.8 style PvP with Grand Strategy style RP politics using the factions plugin so you can build castles and cities with your friends and then protect and expand through politics and PvP! This server was made because we couldn't find another one that:- Ran as smoothly with the plugins we want- Has no pay to win elements at all. Ever.- Has 1.8 era combat and the up to date building blocks.- Has an active community that creates rich RP drivendiplomacy and conflicts. It's seriously good fun and although the server is young it already has a lot of culture to explore. MMC is a small but active SMP server with player-organized guilds/orgs, events every week, building workshops and competitions, shopping districts and towns, and a large, strict staff team to ensure that players and their builds are kept safe, secure, and respected. We have programs to teach you to be a better builder and enable you to be an active community member by taking part in regular organized events. We actively support new players as well as aspiring YouTubers. Players can take part in nearly all aspects of community work, including organizing and overseeing new events, creating new server organizations, working with myself and my staff team to envision future server development, creating new towns and public areas, making art, joining project teams, and more. We average 8-30 players. Here are some more technical details you may be concerned with. The server is technically not vanilla; we do use claims, trade plugins, and antixray, among other plugins (even on our "vanilla" worlds) in order to ensure that we can moderate effectively and heavily discourage cheating and harmful behavior. Notably, TNT duping is also disabled. This said, our vanilla worlds still have otherwise vanilla gameplay. We also attempt to block connections from VPNs, mcleaks accounts, and bots to ensure a higher degree of security. We take daily backups of all worlds and data (as well as your inventory), in addition to utilizing coreprotect to enable local rollbacks when griefing does occur. The server is located in Canada, just south of Montreal, enabling a relatively fast connection throughout the US and Western Europe. We use a dedicated Ryzen server with an optimized fork of Spigot to maintain a near-constant 20 TPS with a vanilla 10-chunk view distance. If you do have a problem due to rare, anomalous low server TPS, staff are trained to return lost items and experience or reimburse you for any losses. We are completely free to play and offer no p2w gameplay-altering benefits whatsoever, although we do reward our supporters with some limited aesthetic options. I do not believe p2w makes for a comfortable or fair environment. Despite this, we are completely financially stable, thanks to generous donations from our community members.
