Piglins should fire spectral arrows Posted: 21 May 2021 04:37 AM PDT Spectral arrows are loot in a bastion, it would make sense if the piglins who guard these arrows and bastions use spectral arrows. The affect wouldn't be useful to the piglins but I think it could be a fun feature and just make more sense. [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 May 2021 12:26 PM PDT When a mineshaft intersects with a lush caves biome, wooden planks have a chance to generate as rotten planks, which take on a saturated deep green color and has visible cracks. These blocks will crumble if you walk over them, making suspended mineshafts more dangerous to traverse. They also break much faster when mined, but can only be obtained with Silk Touch. They can be crafted by surrounding EDIT: They could also spawn in swamp biomes as part of the upcoming swamp update as part of abandoned docks. [link] [comments]
debug sticks should work on paintings. Posted: 21 May 2021 05:34 AM PDT it's just something that would save alot of people alot of time. Maybe a new tool or "brush" that would let you select what you want. That in total should leave a normal Minecraft player about 5 weeks of time... if you use paintings that is. [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 May 2021 07:28 AM PDT Minecraft's music vibe is such cool but while you re mining, wandering around or fighting, exploring the world in silence, the vibe is seriously not complete. The winds amongst the tall mountains, flat plains, open-surface caves, between the trees in forests... Literally anywhere. Btw I'm aware I'm reposting my own idea but I got no answers in the other one. Thanks. [link] [comments]
Villagers should get mad if players steal beds (only beds) Posted: 21 May 2021 02:10 PM PDT Pretty straightforward. One of the most important items to villagers is the bed. Even more important than their workstations. Without beds, there is no village. Therefore, villagers should get mad and raise prices if players break beds. However, villagers will not get mad if players break other items, such as crops, hay bales, or else it would get annoying and complicated. I'm keeping it simple :))) [link] [comments]
Ores Should Have a "Jingle" Sound Posted: 21 May 2021 03:20 PM PDT In the Nether, the ores make unique sounds that take the sounds of netherrack with a bit of jingle sounds sprinkled in. I think this should also be applied to stone and deepslate ores, taking the sounds of stone/deepslate with added jingle sounds. It does not seem like it would add much to gameplay (other than letting you know that you may be walking on ore blocks if you are oblivious), but it would be a fun addition anyway. Posted: 21 May 2021 12:32 PM PDT First of all, I'm sorry if my english is a bit off, I'm not a native speaker At this moment, we have only two river variants: River and Frozen River. Both have a variable width, ranging from a few blocks to more than 25, and they both have the same base blocks, differing in that one has ice and no aquatic life. Before talking about the variants I propose, rivers could be more interesting if they had a defined starting and ending point. They should start in higher-elevation areas, such as mountains, and move to lower-elevation areas, such as beaches or valleys. In addition, the blocks used in rivers could also include cobblestone and dirt for thin rivers, while wider rivers can have sand and gravel (all of this keeping the clay disks of course). The width of the river should remain somewhat more consistent throughout the course, and it would be nice to have different rivers for the types of biomes, these could be:

All Splash/Lingering Potions can extinguish campfires. Posted: 21 May 2021 09:14 AM PDT Currently, only the Splash Water Bottles could extinguish campfires. So it make sense that all splash/lingering potions could also do it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 May 2021 11:26 AM PDT This would be a large structure in the nether. It is surrounded by walls and filled with ruined blackstone houses, some completely destroyed. These houses are short with flat roofs. Most are only one storey tall, but the occasional house has the remains or most of a second storey. Some houses have quartz accents. (This aesthetic is somewhat inspired by the ancient Roman towns of Pompei and Herculaneum, Italy) Unlike villages, these buildings are much more organised, in orderly rows along soul sand/soil roads. These building can contain chests, with loot somewhat reminiscent of bastions, to suggest, along with the blackstone, that piglins once lived here. However, the new occupants are uniquely spawned wither skeletons. They have a much higher chance to spawn with armor, commonly enchanted iron, occasionally diamond. Their boots always generate with soulspeed for the roads, and their swords with fire aspect. Some spawn with bows. They do not respawn. The structure's main appeal, however, is the tower. A single tower spawns in the structure, made of netherbrick with lava pouring out from holes, it has different architecture. On the outside are ghasts in minecarts, which shoot across the rest of the city. This also allows easier obtaining of ghasts in minecarts. Inside the tower is an altar to the wither, containing the soulsand and one skull. The wither painting is placed behind it. It leads new players towards summoning the wither, and allows a different way of getting skulls that doesn't rely on grinding. However, the structure's rarity makes this method hard. Posted: 21 May 2021 12:19 PM PDT Do you think vines should be available as they are on bedrock. Currently (unless I'm forgetting something) you get vines from only swamp and jungle, on BR it's as random as a the style of tree that's chosen to grow. Doesn't seem like a huge game changer, but when you're in those worlds where you just don't have a swamp or a jungle nearby early game, it's nice to have a little vine to make a better starter home when you're building with just cobble and Wood [link] [comments]
Using Amethyst to reroll enchant table Posted: 20 May 2021 07:45 PM PDT What more I can say? Sometimes I need to enchant a book or a stone sword just to get new enchants, wasting lapis and XP for it, and if we can use Amethyst to reroll the enchant table? It's help in the enchant mechanics AND make Amethyst more useful! [link] [comments]
Village blacksmiths heal iron golems Posted: 21 May 2021 03:12 PM PDT When a village iron golem is sufficiently damaged, the blacksmith will attempt to heal it, but only during the day when there are no mobs around. [link] [comments]
Have Powder Snow be affected by gravity Posted: 21 May 2021 08:32 AM PDT Okay, so, the title pretty much sums it up. I think Powder Snow should be affected by gravity. Why? You may ask. Well, as a first, it'd make more sense. After all, it's *powder* snow. And my second reasoning for this is that it'd make it much more deadly. Right now, if you fall into powder snow, you can just break two blocks and you're good to go. However, if Powder snow had gravity, it'd be much harder, because it'd keep falling on top of you. This would also make for good traps, and could be like some sort of avalanche. Lemme know your thoughts :) [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 May 2021 03:50 PM PDT mats that can be applied to stairs(on lowest platform), slabs(on top) and blocks(on top) that let you sit or lie on them, you right click a stair, slab, or block to apply the mat on, kind of like a saddle(except this allows you to ride horses, not sit on blocks). to craft a sitting mat, you need 3 wool of the color you want, with 3 leather. 3 leather in the middle row, and 3 wool in the bottom. sitting mats can be applied to stairs, slabs, and blocks. lying mats can be made with 3 wool of the same color, and 3 carpets, with the same color as the wool. place 3 carpets in the middle row and 3 wool in the bottom to make a carpet-looking lying thing that can be used to make king sized beds that you can actually lie on, this can only be placed on a block(like a carpet) [link] [comments]
Totems should give water breathing Posted: 20 May 2021 06:57 PM PDT When a totem of undying is used, it gives regen, absorption, and fire resistance. The fire resistance is useful for the nether and when mining, but what about exploring the oceans? Let's say you were killed by a drowned but your totem popped and saved you. You might not be able to get back to the surface in time to get air. That's why I propose that totems give water breathing when used. It would help a lot with underwater exploration when do something like exploring a underwater monument. [link] [comments]
A permadeath difficulty, for both Bedrock and Java. Posted: 20 May 2021 08:41 PM PDT The difference between hardcore and permadeath is very important. Permadeath is not locked to the "hard" difficulty, while hardecore is. Permadeath would not automatically disable cheats, and would not lock the difficulty. The only change from a normal world is that if you die, you can't respawn, and the world is deleted on death. To indicate if a world is permadeath or hardecore, the heart lines present on hardcore hearts would be a deep red, rather than black. This would allow Bedrock players to try their hand at hardecore (by disabling cheats and locking the difficulty on hard) and would allow Java players not up to the challenge of hard difficulty to try it.
