    The Lingerers [Semi-vanilla] {Relaxed Rules} {Hardcore} {1.16.5}

    This is a completely new server, made to be an interesting take on survival. You spawn in at a random point of the map, and start your adventure from there; however, there is one catch: when you die, you spawn yet again at a random point. Your life matters, and you must maintain it at whatever cost! Death could mean you will likely lose all of your progress, even if you had a bed! Will you create a settlement for players to live in prosperity together? Will you have a humble home in the darkest crevasses of the world? Is a nomadic lifestyle more fun to you? Do you wish to explore the world and find signs of life in the vast landscape? Or, more maliciously, do you wish to murder and overthrow players from their homes, taking their land as a token of your superiority? Whether you are searching for PvP, or you are looking to build up a community and create beautiful architecture, this server hopes to give you an interesting experience.

    The server will be pretty lenient on what you can and can't do; rule of thumb is to not be completely toxic and destructive, and to treat other players with respect. Griefing is allowed in moderation, however joining just to grief everything in your path will result in a ban. Derogatory and hurtful language can be tolerated to an extent, barring the use of slurs or threats against any players (if you really need to get your jimmies twisted over someone playing a block game, we don't want you!) Hacking or exploits are completely bannable (no duplication, xray, etc). Otherwise there will likely be no administrative intervention outside of dealing with these types of offenses.

    As iterated in the section above, here are the full rules:

    • Do not purposely grief every single build possible. If you feel the need to destroy something utterly, or without good purpose, you likely have other issues in your life that need to be sorted out.
    • No hacked clients or mods that give an unfair advantage.
    • No Exploits.
    • Be courteous to your fellow players in chat, and keep the language clean. Being completely rude/aggressive/inappropriate/hurtful is not really cool, and you will likely be banned for a short to long period of time.
    • Do not complain about being randomly murdered, robbed, or in some cases griefed. Everything is temporary, and you will bounce back from your misfortunes.
    • Don't crash the server. Period.

    Zu beachten ist, dass man genügend Claimblöcke braucht. Man startet mit 750 Claim-Blöcken und pro gespielte Stunde bekommt man 150 Blöcke dazu.

    Chertia [SMP] [Roleplay] {Story} {Events} {Whitelist} {16+} {Java}

    Introduction

    Welcome to Chertia! Chertia is a semi-vanilla survival server set in a land of gods, magic and monsters known as the Kingdom of Chertia. This server is heavily inspired by Mianite, but has evolved over time. We've created our own identity with completely new characters and an ongoing story that everyone is able to contribute to in some way or another.

    Throughout your adventures on Chertia, you will encounter and interact with gods. Regular (usually 2-4 times weekly) events ranging from fun games to perilous adventures will keep you engaged with the server in a unique way.

    The server is on normal difficulty and is hosted in Montréal, Québec. It runs on PaperMC (Purpur).

    Season 3 began on Friday, January 22, 2021.

    The Story

    We have a comprehensive Story Guide. But for a quick overview...

    You are thrown into the mysterious world of Ahiro, in the Kingdom of Chertia. More specifically, the province of Snowdrop. The province is inhabited by three gods, including Mani and Sol, who are working with the players to try and stop an evil spirit, as well as end a war between two factions in the kingdom.

    Additionally, each player has their own player character. You can visit our Character Guide to learn about creating a character.

    Server Events

    While the schedule shifts from week to week, the following is the norm at the moment:

    • Every Friday night, we host a major story event where some of the characters will be on the server, interacting with the players and advancing the server's storyline.
    • On most Saturdays or Sundays, we host Roleplay events where players have the opportunity to get into character and roleplay their hearts out, creating their own stories and fun moments that make Chertia special.
    • Other days, you might have the chance to run into a god - they'll log on whenever they feel like it and start interacting. Be prepared at all times!
    • We usually try to host 2-4 events per week, including game nights & pvp events!

    The Server

    Chertia is mainly a semi-vanilla survival server. While we do have plenty of custom features, items and enchantments, these are mostly optional and can be ignored if you wish for a more traditional 'vanilla survival' experience.

    There are some commands that might be useful to know as you begin your adventure on Chertia. For a list of most available commands, view the page here.

    Roleplay is not required, but there is often roleplay going on! We like to distinguish this with a dedicated 'in-character' mode, where each player can identify themselves as roleplaying (or wanting to roleplay) in the tablist and switch to a special 'character name'.

    Server Rules

    Please keep these in mind as you begin your adventure.

    1. You may not grief or steal from other players.
    2. You may not modify your client or exploit bugs to provide you with an unfair advantage over others.
    3. Be respectful of others.
    4. All farm designs must be approved by staff. Most automatic farms are not allowed.
    5. Do not spam chat, advertise, or self-promote (without permission). Keep chat in the relevant channels.
    6. Follow the roleplay & safety guidelines.
    7. The answer to the last question on the whitelist application is "cardigans".

    To request placement on the whitelist, please join the Discord server here. We do ask that applicants are at least 16 years of age.

    Our Discord server is a friendly, welcoming place with its own set of rules linked in the document above. We have several different on-topic and off-topic channels, including a 'best-of' starboard channel (which is full of gems).

    Server Content

    Making Chertia content is strongly encouraged! Upload to YouTube, stream to Twitch, create screenshot galleries, draw some art, write character lore, anything your heart desires! Post it to the subreddit and the Discord for some visibility (and appreciation)! Chertia is a place to shape your own story and unleash your creativity. :)

    Datapacks & Custom Content

    There are a few datapacks on the server to improve the overall experience. They are:

    • William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld
    • Incendium

    There are also some additional alterations to the server, such as...

    • 33% of players sleeping will skip the night.
    • Discord/Minecraft connectivity - there is a #server-chat channel in Discord that relays communication between the Discord and the server. Like this!
    • Local chat - you can type @[radius] at the start of your message to send a local message (this won't appear in the Discord).
    • Group chats - set up a group chat with our easy-to-use integrated system. You can find more details on the commands page.
    • Emotes - do /e and bring up the emotes menu.
    • We have a Dynmap!

    Finally, there are some minor tweaks to mob spawning and other aspects of the server which tie into the story and concept. The server is vanilla survival at its core.

    Hey there, we are looking for new people to join our mostly vanilla Minecraft Java SMP server. Our demographic is mainly older teens, although anyone above the age requirement is welcome. We currently have about 30-40 active players. We are looking to build a kind and considerate community who's gameplay is focused around not modifying the vanilla game too much.     Jolt is a small community focused SMP with a handful of dedicated and friendly players who are excited to see some new faces! Our world was created in August of 2019 with the goal of creating a permanent space for players to survive together and preserve their builds.     Rules:

    1. No hacking or griefing of any sort, this includes unwanted PvP. All damages or hacked items will be rolled back. We operate on a zero tolerance policy, and all found to be hacking or griefing will receive a permeant and indisputable ban.

    2. Targeted hate speech, harassment, and flaming is not allowed. Targeted hate speech and harassment will be met with an immediate and indisputable ban. Flaming will be met with a temporary mute and a warning. Our server is a fun and safe place for everyone, try to keep the vibes good :)

    3. Building near other players and building communities is highly encouraged and all unclaimed land is up for grabs. If you want to use an area please claim it before someone else. That being said, please do not use claims to purposefully grief or annoy other players. Purposefully invasive claims can and will be removed or reduced. If an area is clearly already being used by another player (i.e. has a build in it) you should not claim it unless given the okay by a staff member. It is okay if your claim overlaps with some roads in the community town.

    4. Clean up after yourself and do not clutter the overworld. This includes purposefully trashy or inappropriate builds, random pillars, and lava casts. Depending on the severity of the clutter it can sometimes count as grief. we have a zero tolerance policy on malicious lava casts, and offenders will be banned. Inappropriate or purposefully trashy builds will be removed, and offenders will receive a warning, but this rule mostly operates on the honor system. Keep our world pretty!

    5. No advertising or spam. This rules applies to both the minecraft and discord servers. Offenders will first be warned, and then muted.

    6. Exploits, glitches, duping, and xray texture packs are NOT allowed. Offenders will receive a warning, and will have any items or progress they made via the exploit reversed. Players are allowed to try to access the nether roof and construct auto fishing farms.

    Someone else tried to do this and gave up so I'm going to do it instead. I'm not a little kid and I've ran plenty of servers before so this will be a walk in the park.

    The idea of the server:

    -A bunch of players are put into a world with limited resources and a small world border.

    -There are no rules other than no cheating, duping, lag machines, or lavacasts. Players are free to raid and steal as they please.

    If you've seen the 3rd Life SMP it is a lot like that but not hardcore.

    Hello my fellow miners and crafters! We at ColdCraft are looking to start our MC Vanilla Season 2 server starting Friday June 11th.

    We are a smallish server with 7ish members, looking for players who want to have fun on a HermitCraft style server.     Capture The Flag

    CTF is a blast of a PvP gamemode, featuring many of the original maps found on the original Lichcraft and many other servers. Unlike other versions of CTF, this includes the classic wool flags and a completely editable map, drastically improving the gameplay.

    Prison

    The Prison server is classic multiplayer prison, with 6 blocks (F-A) to grind through and McMMO mechanics. Once you escape to the overworld, it becomes a semi-vanilla Factions server, making the grind all the more worth it!

    Creative

    The Survival server features a strong economy and a claims system, regular Mystery Crates that spawn each hour, and a PvP arena. The community is supportive, and starting players can get a good start thanks to others' generosity.

    Events

    The Events server rotates between other minigames that were a part of Lichcraft, including Bomb (a modified version of CTF where a bomb is placed in the middle of the map and must be carried into your opponent's spawn), Prop Hunt, KitPvP, and more!

    Short description

    Mattercraft is a server with a modpack we've designed to fit in most of the 1.16.5 mods while still being reasonably competitive. The modpack can be found here and the server is included by default inside of the pack upon download.

    The server was hosted by two european friends. We're both 18+ and we'd like to think we're mature, reasonable people. We're not looking to play weird power games that often happen on some other servers. We just want to play the game and have a place to do so.

    We are currently looking to 'renew' the server a few times a year with new mods. Which will probably include putting the 'current' server on a lower RAM backup so it's not completely lost, then making a newer server to keep things fresh. Nobody likes hanging out on a server where you've completed your big endgame projects 8 months ago.

    Server specs

    64 GB Ram, 4Ghz CPU. Hosted in france on the border with Europe. We have noticed few moments of lag, though there hasn't been any serious stress testing when people generate a ton of chunks.

    Discord and whitelisting

    You can whitelist by simply typing your name into our discord. The purpose of this is so we know who's on the server and we don't get randoms joining, griefing and leaving. We expect our players to speak english, we have no age requirement, but we expect players to be able to act maturely enough so we don't instantly expect them to be 8 years old.

    Rules

    Anything is really allowed, PVP isn't off. The most important part that makes this mod Semi-Anarchy is that we use FTB Chunks to protect chunks and we do ask that you don't use 'creative' means to bypass this chunk protection. Apart from that having some in-house brawling is okay. Our only cardinal rule is 'Don't be a dick'. We're all here to have fun, if people want to do PVP with you or test your skills, go ahead. If you want to test something in friendly fire, go ahead. If you spawn camp someone for three hours? That's a yikes.

    community

    We want this server to be first and foremost community driven. this is not a commercial product. It's simply a server that me and my friend have created and want to make work in the long run. We don't expect any money or services in return for playing. There will never be any incentive to donate or the like. What we do expect is that people who play are social. We want to listen to the community members and change the server according to their wishes.

    Why isn't X mod in?

    There are a small number of mods that we've decided not to put in. Mostly it's Mystical Agriculture and some of the EE clones.

    We found that these provided an infinite, easy and cheap way to get a ridiculous amount of resources. Something that would let you reach 'endgame' production levels in a matter of hours, which completely defeated the point of playing any other mod whatsoever. To add a less overpowered way to farm materials we've added bees instead.

    If you are an adult looking for a place to relax and enjoy Minecraft without childish behavior ruining the experience, welcome! With that said, we expect practical jokes, pranks and the like to be played. If you are overly sensitive, then this isn't the server for you.

    About the server
    The server is based out of France (Gravelines) and provided by our own dedicated server.
    We are a Java server running the latest PaperMC with a few changes in order to bring it back as close to the original vanilla as possible while maintaining many of the benefits of running Spigot. This is a randomly generated survival map, with a few plugin concessions made only to facilitate administration, grief prevention and overall community integration. The game difficulty is set to hard and PVP will be enabled with the intent that it is used for consensual purposes and not griefing.

    What kind of players are we
    We are all adult players with normal lives who just happen to like Minecraft because it is relaxing and fun. We understand that people come and go, that motivation goes up and down. We joke and laugh and respect each other. We also try to get together regularly (on Discord) and do things together in game (minigames, base tours etc). The current average age is well above 25 at the moment.

    What kind of server is this
    We promote a low stress community atmosphere, where we can take our time, think before we act, and have fun together! We respect each other and our differences. We act and communicate responsibly and take responsibility for our actions in game. It is a server free from griefing, thieving and moderators. We want you to help us make a tight knit community of fun-loving Minecrafters.

    Game altering features:
    ✔️ TreeAssist (toggleable).
    ✔️ Enderman do not pick up blocks.
    ✔️ Ender Dragon drops Elytra and Egg.
    ✔️ Husks have sand on their drop table.
    ✔️ Worldborder with a 10,000 block radius.
    ✔️ Fire spread from lightning is turned off.
    ✔️ Shulkers will drop 2 shulker shells upon death.
    ✔️ Mobs have a slim chance of dropping their head.
    ✔️ Ability to rotate and edit the parts of an armour stand.
    ✔️ Drowned have a very slim chance of dropping a trident even if not wearing one.
    ✔️ Trash items have a despawn timer of 2 minutes to prevent excessive ground items.
    ✔️ Loot inside Treasure chests will respawn between 12 hours and 2 days (one person can only loot once).

    Light-weight add-ons:
    ✔️ 3 hour AFK limit.
    ✔️ Slime chunk finder.
    ✔️ Single player sleep.

    Things we most likely will never implement:
    ❌ MCMmo.
    ❌ Landclaiming & container protection.
    ❌ Teleporting & warping.
    ❌ Setting homes.

    Here are some simple criteria for being accepted:

    • You are at least 18 years old.
    • You are a nice person (it is really that simple).
    • You aren't overly sensitive and you recognize this is a game and fun will be had.
    • You are not asking yourself "I wonder if I could be considered an adult.." right now.
    • You divulge accurate information about yourself. Not interested in men and women of mystery.

    Things that DO NOT matter:

    • Your redstone skills.
    • Your building skills.
    • You are an introverted hermit or an extroverted social communicator.

    Things that DO matter:

    • Do not abuse anyone.
    • Do not grief anything.
    • Do not steal from anyone.
    • Do not use cheats of any kind.
    • Scripts of any kind are forbidden.
    • Using duplication glitches is not allowed.
    • Do not dig out deserts for sand, use the sand farms instead.
    • Lootable chests may not be destroyed if not using the area it is in.

    We have a strict zero tolerance policy, players doing any of these things will be removed from our community permanently. We don't want our members feeling cheated or abused, so we aren't going to lower the bar just to keep a person around. Recognizing a fine line however is important. I am specifically talking about pranks and jokes. We have many on this server now who like to welcome new players with some practical jokes - the end state of course being that you conducted yourself admirably through it all and you end up rewarded.

    CoronaCraft survival [semi-vanilla]{Whitelist}{1.16.5}{Discord}

    So about 6 months ago me and a couple of friends started a minecraft server. We had a really good time and even invited some other people, but after a while the server started to die out. Therefore i have decided to revive the server by starting a new world and inviting some people. If you are an experienced minecraft player who is 13+, and is looking for a tight community and group of active players, this is the way to go!

    As i mentioned were looking for somewhat experienced players with decent contraption or building skill, but must importantly just be cool and fun to hang around with and the rest doesnt matter. The server is still fresh and were in early game, so there are plenty of things to do 📷

    Some additional small qol plugins/features using spigot:

    If half of the players who are online sleeps, it turns to day automatically.

    Discord chat is synced with in-game chat.

    Rules: Just use common sense and don't be an idiot, we all want to have a good time.
