| Posted: 30 May 2021 09:19 AM PDT Townscraft is a whitelisted SMP server with a Towny twist that launched in April of 2020. As the name implies, the server has an emphasis on towns. Each town contains houses, shops and farms. You can join an already existing town, create new towns with three or more members or choose to be a nomad, but it's strongly advised to live towny to get the best experience. All types of players are welcome, as long as you don't plan on breaking the rules. We don't care if you are a builder, redstoner, veteran or noob, there will always be a town that accepts you. There are no major gameplay altering plugins like /warp or /tpa. Three exceptions are one person sleep, the ender dragon unable to destroy blocks, and fire spread off. We are planning on updating our current world in the summer with a soft reset. In the winter, we'll have a hard reset with starting fresh in a new world. We are currently running 1.16.5 and will continue to update to the newest version of the game as soon as we are able to. You can still join on 1.16.4! We have a close community that will welcome any fresh face, so don't let the reset deter you. We will also give out map downloads at the end of Season 1 for TownsCraft. The nether and the End will also be reset periodically. Staff can be identified by having a colored name. See discord for more info. The server has core protect, so if something is stolen or griefed, the culprit can be identified and the action can be rolled back. It is the second oldest town and has some of the most dedicated players who largely keep to themselves. Leaders: magnetron_hd, mackin0412 Honey Valley is a quaint canal city nestled in the valley of two mountains in a birch forest biome. Its build theme is best characterized as "quirky Norway," with colorful, densely packed rowhouses lining a central canal. Landmarks include a windmill, tulip fields, an art gallery, large spruce trees, and the iconic canals along which many residents live. Though appearing wholesome, HV has many less wholesome secrets. Leaders: wummeh, wordyregret The Colonies is an Ancient Asian Colony located between mountains, a flower forest, and dark oak forest. The buildings resemble East Asian farm houses, temples, and pagodas. As being one of the most active towns, The Colonies is changing daily. The Colonies is more populated than Shanghai and has more character than Beijing. Also known as a lovely weeb town as you can relax in the Maid Cafe or the Lucky Cat Cafe. Come play with pandas or relax in our mountain hot springs in The Colonies! Leader: RinKiwa Llamaland - Llamaland is a small town, has the animal "Llama" as their main theme for the town and very colorful! The town is still currently under construction so people who want to join the town can come and build their own houses! Leaders: Harvels, Fish Lakania is a town on the rise, shaped by all of its citizens. It is dynamic yet hasn't lost its peaceful atmosphere. It is a great place to start your adventure on the server! The town aims to be designed specifically for new people on the server to get started. Unlike the other towns, which may ask for applications, you are already entitled to Lakanian citizenship. Come join the family in Lakania! Leaders: Fish, RinKiwa Elysium is one of the newer towns and was created when TheAsianMate ventured off to create a fairly large tree called the Tree of Paradise. The tree was finished in 9 days and the town quickly opened after its completion. TheAsianMate originally intended it to be just a random project for fun, but decided to share it with others. The theme is an enchanted forest populated with wizard towers and mushroom houses. Leaders: TheAsianMate, RinKiwa Redwood City is an up and coming modern town in a homey spruce forest, with a main theme of restaurants! Redwood continues to grow, it is very welcoming, easy to build in, and has a very inviting mayor, who is happy to have you over! Leader: ASaltedProfessor Rivia is a town in the Dol Angra valley, at the foot of the Mahakam mountains. It is a town with history beyond imagination. The town has been inspired by games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and of course, The Witcher. The town itself has been built in a mix of Victorian England and Gothic style. Leaders: Lareno, RinKiwa, HungrySoviet, ASikke Fortuna is the Dark Souls of digging chunks. People also know Fortuna as Bigger Diggus and Big Dig or Local Stone Supplier. Fall damage accounts for 92% of the deaths in Fortuna, the other 8% is by slime. Fortuna is home to some of the most ambitious projects. Currently, a tower based on Dark Souls and Bloodborne architecture is in the works in the center of the hole. Leader: ASikke Pandora is a town of which the architectural style resembles a mix of industrial and rustic buildings. The town itself is inhabited by a close group of friends from Estonia, so sadly we are not taking in actual members. Even so, it is possible for you to buy property, to show dominance and fortune over the other players. Some people in the server disagree with our ways, as somehow we have managed to make a few enemies, but we do not care for the opinions of the lower class. Our primary goal is for people to take in the beauty of our town and spend a lot of money during their stay. For the latter, we have different shops for all kinds of needs and most importantly the newest addition to our town - The Casino. The casino has a fully functional roulette - and a poker table. Additionally, you can try your luck in the lottery. Silverfield is a snowy frontier village with a woodsy frontier theme! Come down today! We use a few tweaks without destroying the vanilla experience, some are just plain fun or near essential for a SMP. None are final and voted on by the community: Mob Heads have a chance of dropping on a kill (Reason: Fun) Player Heads will drop if killed by a player (Reason: Fun) The Enderdragon will drop an elytra (Reason: this helps the long marches through the end when it's been raided for thousands of blocks already) Shulkers drop 2 shells each (Reason: Same as above) XYZ and Time Display (Reason: Ability to show only the Coordinates and Direction instead of the whole F3 screen, which is overwhelmed by information and text) AFK Display (Reason: To see if someone is afk and not active) Multiplayer Sleep (Reason: Only 50% of the people in the overworld have to sleep to skip the night) And a few more small changes, check them out on our discord server! | Posted: 30 May 2021 07:47 AM PDT Homesteadcraft is a RPG inspired Minecraft Server. We utilize a few plugins to accomplish this. FreeRPG to add skill levels for things such as Digging, Mining, Enchanting, and Fishing as well as Talents like Timber to fell trees by breaking a single block and even (eventually) immunity to TNT! We also use AcuteLoot to add details, rarity levels, and even some special effects to some items. We do have a client mod-pack that we feel adds a lot to make the game feel closer to your traditional RPG, such as Mob health bars above mob's heads, a minimap, and a saturation meter. The Client modpack is NOT necessary to play, but we do highly encourage it! Server Texture-pack is encouraged, but also not necessary. We use StayTrue which is very faithful to original textures, while adding a bit more variation and a touch of animation to some blocks and items. We utilize a claim system to minimize griefing which also allows you to accrue more claim blocks the longer you play! Find out more about it by placing your first chest! You can share Build Trust or just Container Trust with your friends, or only allow yourself to build within them! Exeos is a small community of players just looking to have fun and not worry about anything else. Our main goal is to be as Anti-P2W and Lag-free as possible, as the entire point of the server is just to have a good time. With some competition from the economy system and our leaderboards, as well as our custom level-up system makes sure you always have things to do. At max level, you can buy what would normally be donor only perks with in-game currency. Given the small community and anti-P2W gameplay, the server is also lag-free compared to other servers of similar layout. Why join? Probably will keep it as bare bones as can be other than funky world gen. Dynmap - 192.3.27.89:31001 It's hosted on in New York by MC Pro. XMC is a tightly knit group of players who've been playing together for over a year. If you're looking for a nice place to play Minecraft with minimal toxicity, or just a place to dump your cat pictures, this is the place! The rules are expanded upon in our discord. Who we're looking for With that, we have some age restrictions in place. We are a (slightly) strictly 18+ server. We do make some exceptions if your application is up to par. We're looking for players who are at least moderately skilled, or are willing to learn. You don't have to be a building or redstone master, just be interested in expanding and trying new things along with a group. We would like those who enjoy the endgame, over those who do not. Please mention the feature you're most excited for in 1.17 somewhere in your application, this is just to make sure people actually read the post and don't just skim over it. We have a strict inactivity policy that weeds out any that have abandoned the server. Those who are not online for an extended period of time will be direct messaged. If they do not reply in a reasonable timeframe, their member role is removed. World Information On XMC we have a capitalist society that is moderately controlled, but players are mostly left to do their own thing. Spawn will be a mix of shops and buildings. You will have to pay for the land those buildings are on. We are limiting the world size to 65,000 by 65,000. This is to allow us to fully expand the world upon 1.18's release with new terrain. Plugins/Mods XMC uses the fabric mod loader server-side to load plugin-like mods. These mods can range from allowing us to see who interacted with what containers to prevent stealing, to allowing people to place blocks with dispensers. Each of these mods is selected to keep as much of the vanilla experience as alive as possible, while adding a bit of a twist to it in some places. You can find a full list of our features here. In that document you will see a list of individual features we have enabled, alongside each and every mod that we have on the server. When you join XMC, you can also do /mods in-game to get a full list. None of these mods should change vanilla behaviors in any way.
