| BLUE MOON [Vanilla] [SMP] Java edition {1.17} {Whitelist} Posted: 09 Jun 2021 12:36 AM PDT The Blue Moon SMP is a brand new server that started yesterday as the newest version of minecraft was released. That means if you'd join now, it wouldn't be to difficult to catch up with the rest of the other players' progress on the server! What makes The Blue Moon Smp different from other server?For starters we have a system where you can join other players and start your own settlement(you can call it a town, city or whatever you want, doesn't have to be a "settlement") where you make up the rules inside the borders of your area. You can also join other peoples' settlements(with their permission ofc). We are also currently working on implementing themed areas where you will have to build according to a specific theme. Again, this will just be in some defined areas, and will probably not affect you if you don't live there. We also have a custom recourcepack implemented to the server, which makes the moon blue(hence the name of the server) and turns apples into bananas(because why not lol), but the pack is optional, so you're not forced to use it by any means. If you want more information in regards to these things, you can check out our discord server where you will be able to find more thorough information in regards to these topics. General information about the serverAs the server is brand new, there's not a lot to put here, but here's some things I thought you might find interesting: We don't use any datapacks as of now, but we might add some in the future. But don't worry, we already activated multiplayer-sleep through commands, as that is now a thing in the vanilla game. We currently have more or less shut down the end dimension to prevent people from speedrunning and getting end game loot early on in the game. It will be turned on again later, to make a serverwide event out of it. CommunityThe server currently consist of a fairly small community made up of 15 players, which is why we're looking for some new faces! We are very friendly towards all people on the server, and we expect new be nice towards other players as well. New Horizons started less than a week ago and has an already established playerbase of around 70 people. We are a community-oriented server with a focus on the vanilla aspect of Minecraft. We focus on bringing the players together with community events, contests, movie nights, and even game nights! We are an open and accepting community that wants our players to feel safe and free of any harassment, trolling, or toxicity. We use a whitelist and application system to ensure that those joining are coming into a safe and friendly environment. Currently, our map is quite small, this is because we are waiting to expand our borders for when 1.17 comes out. We will be updating to 1.17 as soon as all the plugins we use are updated. Our Community In our international community, we have a wonderful, diverse player base, and an active, approachable staff team. +E-11 Blaster +Speeder: A small ship class used to fly around at normal speeds. Unlike all other craft types, they don't require any fuel so it's good to have one if you're just starting out. Also unlike all other vehicle types (except for Boats and Submarines), Speeders are unable to travel to and operate within the vacuum of space, but are faster than all other ship types except for Interceptors. +Interceptor: The second smallest ship class on the server. Interceptors are adept at fast-paced hit and run tactics and getting to places extremely quickly. Interceptors can match speed with a Speeder. +Fighter: A ship type about the same or slightly bigger than Speeders. These are typically stronger than Speeders, but can't move as fast as Speeders and they require fuel. Typically good for a crew of one to three people, and also good for one on one fighting against ships of the same class or assault missions. +Bomber: Bombers are stronger, slower versions of Fighters. These ships have an extra capacity for bombs, torpedoes, and missiles. These ships are best suited for attacking large capital ships from a distance and taking on enemy strike craft in a support role. +Corvette: Corvettes are moderately sized ships that are best suited for medium-range recon roles and anti-fighter support. These ships can match speeds with a Fighter, but are only slightly faster than Bombers at cruising speed. +Frigate: This ship class is slightly bigger and sturdier than the Corvette, but are moderately slower. Their main advantage would be the ability to carry tons of smaller strike craft. +Dreadnought: Arguably the strongest ships out there, these massive ships are more armored and deadly than any other. Because of their immense size, they're slower than anything else and require more fuel than any other ship. These ships can serve as carriers, mobile cities, command ships, or heavy assault ships. +Boat: Boats are the aquatic equivalent of Fighters and Speeders. They don't require any fuel and can be as large as a Cruiser, but they can't fly or submerge under water. These vessels are generally best used as a transport for ground personnel or tactical vessels designed to destroy other Boats. +Submarine: Submarines can be larger than Boats and their ability to submerge underwater makes them excellent stealth vehicles. However, Submarines require fuel and can't use cannons while underwater. These are best used to assault bases that are underwater or destroy vessels of the same class. On top of these, we have plenty of other things unique to the server! We have shields to protect your ship from damage, custom laser cannons that you can fire at other ships, and faster than light travel to get to places quickly! +Hoth: A snowy planet with numerous hills. Excellent for camouflaged bases and prison bases. +Corellia: A planet with multiple biomes such as desert, forest, mountain, jungle, and tundra. This planet is the best as a starter planet due to its numerous resources and friendly environment. +Tatooine: A desert planet with a few canyons, an oasis, small rivers, and extremely large mountains. Tatooine is one of the best places for base building, as the terrain is extremely flat and open. +Scarif: A tropical planet made up of 80% water. This planet is excellent for underwater bases and submarines. Frequent rain and the large flat lands make this planet excellent for farming and mining operations. +Sullust: A magma-based planet with a barren and dangerous surface. Sullust's land consists of mainly stone hills and ridges, magma pockets, and has numerous unique geographical features such as spiked mountains and lava rivers. The most notable feature of Sullust is its extreme supply of all ores. The surface is blanketed with numerous large iron deposits and within Sullust's extensive cave system in addition to large amounts of just about any ore within the caves. +Avalon: This planet is currently home to a hornet's nest of Cylon Centurions. Rumors have it that this planet was where the Cylons launched their first attack from, and was frequently used as a staging ground. Once the Cylons left the general population alone, it was suspected that Avalon was where they had retreated to. Avalon is an extremely hot magma planet with large lava lakes and small lava oceans. Why don't you stop by here and check this out! As a small, private and growing community, the Veggies SMP aims for everyone to just have a good time. We are still hoping for newcomers to help the server flow, and we only allow people between the age ranges of 13-16, and are within North American Time Zones. This is for convenience, and for everyone to get along better. How to join and be verified on the whitelist:- You must be willing to state your pronouns, time zone, and age, just so the staff will know if you fit the requirements!- You must make an obvious effort to interact with others, and play. You must also be friendly and free of toxicity in VC, while being active in VC as well.- Patience is key. Most of the staff members are busy with school in the morning and asleep at night. If you happen to join at an inconvenient time, just sit tight until someone gets back to you. Trust me, it is worth the wait. :) Please do not demand to be whitelisted or ask to invite someone like your friend until we know you're a kind and friendly person! Rules 1: Gameplay - No cheating of any sort. This includes x-raying, exploiting to see through obstructions, etc. Any sort of exploit is not allowed. Minimap mods on clients are also prohibited. 2: Behavior - Being toxic, and generally being mean to others is not tolerated whatsoever. This includes gender shaming, orientation shaming, religion shaming, etc. Anything that discriminates, anything, is not allowed at all. 3: Player Activity - Whether or not you decide to be active on this server or not, or make an effort to play often, if you are seen to not care at all, and to not play at all, or once every week or so, you can be removed without notice. 4: Prohibited Farms and Allowed Farms - The only type of automatic or afk farms that are allowed are the kind of farms that do not give you resources like iron, or any kinds of ores. Wither farms and blaze farms are also prohibited. Making a farm out of a naturally generated mob spawner is allowed as well. Any sort of farm in the Nether dimension, specifically, is not allowed. 5: The End Dimension - The End dimension is allowed, but you are prohibited from retrieving the Elytra. Any farms in this dimension as well, are not allowed. 6: Griefing - Is prohibited, as with stealing. This is only allowed for roleplay, and has to be kept to a minimum, so repairable. 7: PG-13 - Keep your words PG-13, and your actions as well. What you say will heavily reflect on your impression on others, so no discriminating people in any way for their beliefs, etc. These are NOT tolerated. 8: Purpose - Overall, it may upset most newcomers and players of the restrictions on automation. This is to prevent the server from being to easy, and for players to actually progress by mostly manual work. Everyone here is extremely friendly and welcoming! | Terrible Friends [SMP] [Semi-Vanilla] {Fabric} {1.17} {Whitelist} Posted: 08 Jun 2021 10:15 AM PDT Introduction: Terrible Friends is a Minecraft server that was created to try to be what most servers do not or cannot offer: an extremely close to vanilla experience and a close community where the admins aren't headless non-existent creatures from the black lagoon. No items are blacklisted, no plugin added currency (which always trash server economies), bedrock breaking isn't disabled, redstone isn't completely broken for performance "enhancements", and there is very little modification to core vanilla gameplay. For real though, not like some servers. Also, it's 1.17. Need I say more? Join our small (but dedicated) community today! Rules: The basic rule in griefing is simple, but very complex at the same time. If you have noticed, the server doesn't have any land protection or anti-grief. That is intentional. Minecraft is not intended to have such protections in place, otherwise it would have been added to vanilla a very long time ago. Players are expected to be respectful of others' possessions, but don't expect complete safety. It's the wild, wild west out there. But keep it in good fun, it's just a block game. Other rules relate to duping, exploits and general anti-toxicity / harassment, and are listed in the discord. Discord: The discord is used to communicate with members and for members to communicate with each other. It is also used to list server information, rules, announcements relating to the server (hardware/software updates, minecraft updates, outages, events, etc), and to whitelist people to the server itself. Getting whitelisted: To get whitelisted, you need to thoroughly read through the rules and other info in #information, then change your discord nickname to your IGN (In Game Name), and also type your IGN into #whitelisting. An admin will whitelist you and notify you when you have been whitelisted. You may have 1 main account and 1 alt account whitelisted if you desire. If you don't see the #whitelisting channel, then you didn't read everything in #information. So go read it. And that's it: Once you're whitelisted, you can then hop on the server and play some Minecraft with other people And while you're on, remember to have fun, and to enjoy your stay. Tldr; an smp with no modifications to the behavior of vanilla mechanics, only exceptions to shulker drops, player head drops, and totem drops. World border 50k. Fun events. Community. With the 1.17 update coming out today, I wanted to make a SMP with a friend with the goal to have a great and fun time! There are already around 40 players waiting (10 active) and I was hoping to find some more here. This is also a country-based server, so there are 10 countries in total and wars etc. are possible. Currently the community consists of 4-6 players, while the server can handle up to 40 players, so I was hoping to catch some of you guys!
