Minecraft Bi-Weekly Build Challenge #129: Port Posted: 01 Aug 2021 05:46 AM PDT LAST WEEK'S THEME: ZOO/WILDLIFE PRESERVEGoldA wonderful build which flowed together so nicely. The paths, the buildings, everything blended in so nicely. I feel this has to do with the colour palette that you chose. And because of that palette, you somehow made me enjoy seeing that weird desert grass texture (that I personally dislike) included in your build. I guess every texture is great if you use it in the right context! Great job!! SilverThis was a very simple build, especially in terms of layout. I felt some of the exhibits didn't connect to each other well. However, your actual exhibits were wonderfully built. The detail and theme of each was amazing and I really enjoyed both the creativity and the originality behind each one. Good build! BronzeAnother build where I felt it was a little simple and bare in terms of the layout. However the exhibits, which were the main parts, are the main attractions. I felt some of the exhibits may have been a little bare. However you made up for that with some really cool ones: Polar Bears and the Crystals just to name two. Nice build! Honourable mentions Just want to say, two other great builds that I'm sad didn't place! Hard time deciding who would place in this challenge, so definitely don't feel bad, these two builds were great as well! IntroductionWell this week we'll be going to the sea... or not completely. We will be bridging the gap between land and sea and building ports! Making an easy place for ships to unload their stuff and get back to the sea. Happy building! I can't wait to sea what you make :) Inspiration ChallengePort Construct a port (what you best see fitting the theme). It can be modern, futuristic, or in the past. It must have a ship docked or very close. It must have some building or structure in the port. (so it's not just a dock and a ship). It can be set in space if you so desire. Rules
