They discovered a strange new land in the mists, where they seek to reestablish their societies. The continent of Nebelloren. This is a role-playing server. Comprised of the proud Dwarven clans of Votha, the star-gazing high-elf Caeli, humans recently returned from Hell called The Lambent Front and more recently the mysterious Myriad; constructs who awoke from long slumbers upon the arrival of newcomers on Nebelloren. The seat of their power is Parravon, a feudal city built in the northern fjords from which they now govern their people in this strange new land.
Made up of the comfort-loving halfling Cuthail, the plant-like elven Kihai, the spiritual and wise orcish Hjen and the traditionalist monster-hunting human Endless Spears, the Wildchoir prides itself on becoming one with nature. Having been driven from their first settlement on Nebelloren due to the risk of upsetting the strange forces of a malevolent forest, and again from their home on the high reaching Savannah Plateau, The Wildchoir has now settled near Parravon and is working together with the Imeris Entente to reestablish a foothold on Nebelloren. The World: A huge custom map, populated with over 100 wildlife mobs unique to our server and gorgeous biomes dotted with strange ruins and interesting vistas. We try to stay vanilla as much as possible but with a few quality of life changes and tweaks for more enjoyment. We started out as a small group of friends from Germany. We are in our mid 20s and have been enjoying Minecraft since our school years. We have always been keen on playing together and having fun in this virtual world. Living in a world not only by ourselves is a lot more enjoyable and fun! Seeing buildings grow and other things being built from other people is just a great feeling and gives so much joy. We have formed a very diverse community of people from all over the world in almost all age groups. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Most of us are Europe Based but anybody is welcome. Tue world is decently old and there are many abandoned bases, depending on who's base it is, these bases may be claimed and brought back to life. If that is not your thing, there is near unlimited unclaimed land... just go anywhere! :) (We don't have any land claim plugins, if you see no base near the spot you like just place a few signs down). If you don't feel like building alone, I am happy to introduce my big mountain area project that needs a lot of work but is looking great already. Or just ask others to come help out or form a partnership! There are also a few groups around that you will learn to know that exist. There are some projects around spawn where we build together too! Getting involved with the community helps motivate everyone and you can definitely make new friends here! :) Features: This is a vanilla server and there are no mods installed. We are running on papermc with a few little tweaks that visually don't change the vanilla gameplay but improve the vanilla experience on a server by a lot! We do everything in survival, no creative or other game modes. There will be no commands for items/levels/spawning etc. We do like to keep track of how many deaths someone has, so we use the scoreboard for this. We use a few tweaks without destroying the vanilla experience, some are just plain fun, some are near essential for a SMP. None are final and everything is voted on by the community: Mob Heads have a chance of dropping on a kill (Reason: Fun) Player Heads will drop if killed by a player (Reason: Fun) The Enderdragon will drop an elytra (Reason: this helps the long marches through the end when it's been raided for thousands of blocks already) Shulkers drop 2 shells each (Reason: Same as above) AFK Display (Reason: To see if someone is afk and not active) Multiplayer Sleep (Reason: only 1/3 of the online players in the overworld have to sleep to skip the night) Minecraft Speed Plug-in (MSP - This allows you to accelerate the Minecarts top speed. There are many ways to travel fast. Minecarts are near points less because of the slow max speed. This plugin changes the speeds, but only if one desires) Craftable Sand and Spore Blossom (As we do not allow duping and using end portal glitches etc we have a complicated method of crafting sand. If one needs too much sand for a project, he/she is able to use this renewable method by building a few farms) Creative World Portal (At Spawn there is a custom custom Portal which sends out into a small Flat World with Creative Mod. Here you have a separate inventory but you can collaborate with others without leaving the server! Check it out it has many cool builds already, most of them have been built in our Survival World too! Core Protect and Vanish (These are here for your safety! Only some mods and me are able to use them. We log every single thing somebody does, be it placing blocks, setting a building on fire or taking something out of a chest. By logging all this nobody can cheat or grief on the server. Furthermore we can undo any action a player takes by simply typing 1 command. To make the transition to 1.18 easier, we will reset the majority of the world when the update is available. To ensure that you don't have to rebuild everything from scratch, we have settled on a central island that will be kept during the update phase. The server operates like a regular server where you're free to play as you please within reason. The overarching goal aside from having fun is to create a long-lasting community of mature players and to create a world full of fun and beautiful builds. We're a no-reset server so there's also no rush to complete said builds 🙂 I'm looking for laid back, friendly people who are 20+ who are happy to work on solo projects but also happy to collaborate on community projects. We have recently wiped our map as of 30 July 2021, this opens up a lot of opportunities to help out with new spawn / server projects that have been planned. Following all this opens up a very unique world gen with some amp terrain, large biomes and normal gen. We have also implemented a creative server for those who like to practice builds/redstone/etc. If any of the following brings interest to you, Apply Today! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With that being said, before getting down to the smaller details, here are some of the details that will determine if you really want to play on our server or not: Discord is required: As a small community this is the easiest way for us to communicate. It also brings our server closer together, allowing us to actually feel the emotions projected from our voices. (let's face it -- typing is so mono-toned) Activity is the number one priority: In order for us to create the tight-knit community we have, we do require our players to be on for a minimum amount of time. Most people do meet this requirement with no problem, but some people do hate this rule, so I thought I'd mention it. We are based in the US of A: This really doesn't matter that much, but if you're in a different time zone, you may not see a lot of players. While we do have some players from the UK and AUS, most of us are located in the States, particularly along the East Coast. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, here are the rest of the details to our server: FRESH MAP, July 30, 2021 (JUST RESET, NEW SPAWN, NEW COMMUNITY, NEW PROJECTS) Server Version: 1.17.1, Hosted in Ontario, Canada Minimum age: 16+ Resource Worlds: We have updated resource worlds on the server to provide a easy experience with getting all the new blocks in 1.17, These worlds get reset often. Server is java based not bedrock, but in the future we may have plans on hosting a bedrock server for those interested. We switched to Semi-Vanilla. Adding datapacks (Head Drops, Enderman Griefing, Shulker Drops, Universal Dying) We added a few plugins, Nothing game breaking, IE. Coreprotect, Dynmap, BigInv Maximum whitelist is 80 players -- we currently have 29 people whitelisted. Our Server is based off of HermitCraft -- we talk about them often. Our Spawn is Medieval Themed located on a mushroom island Our Community really means a lot to us. This server is 4 years old, and has transitioned from the original 1.10 to 1.16.5! We have up to 70 players in US afternoon, but we have American, European, and even Australian players. We sometimes say "Semi-Anarchy" because with the exception of hacking, cheating, and harassment, the admins let you do whatever you want. But don't let that fool you, the players have formed powerful governments and nations which strictly enforce their justice! So if you expect to jump on and do some easy raiding, you'll be in for a surprise. You'll find we take the concepts of "towny" and "factions" to higher levels, with more freedom and more flexible tools! Each player has the chance to make a cool, unique character and develop their own story similar to the Dream SMP. It will be as close to survival as possible with little plugins. Rules For The Server: - If you want to join the server then you must apply in the #application and #intros channel and follow the pinned format. - Don't be toxic. - No Stealing. - Killing players is allowed if they are threatening you in game by coming to your property without permission, or anything else reasonable. Cannon kills will not be taken unless and admin is present or it is during an event. - No hacking. - No using X-ray. - You are only allowed 1 villager per profession. - No using other people's villagers without permission. - No exploits/glitch abusing. - No curing a zombie villager. - No advertising for your own discord & minecraft servers - No griefing anything - No stream sniping for info out of plot - No bullying - No spawn camping - After you have lost all your canon lives, you can become a ghost or become a new character . - No end. - No withers during events unless you have permission from me. - No creeper farms. - No totems during pvp. - If you make a new town it must obey all these rules. - No alt accounts. - Anime is banned. - No elder guardian farms. - No spawners with eggs used. - No killing pets or killing villagers.
