We strive to enhance the minecraft vanilla experience through the introduction of plugins. The minecraft version is currently 1.17.1! How are we different to other MC Servers? Races! Do you ever feel bored of playing vanilla minecraft? Well in this server, every player has the ability to change their race. Ranging from Vampires to Lycanthrope, Angels to Demons and many more! Long description, tl;dr features list below: Since 2010, the Summa Crossroads Minecraft server has been built on one great idea - that what we build should be fun and exciting. We've gone through multiple maps, updates, and plugin sets, always trying to find that delicate balance of fun, challenge, and drive. We've been around since alpha, and we've learned a lot. This server has been a lot of things for a lot of people, but it's always been a good time. Today, we feature a vast 16,000 by 16,000 map sprawling from edge to edge with beautiful custom biomes. It's hand-painted and lovingly crafted - every inch is designed to bring the sense of adventure and vast scale that you may recall from your first days of Minecraft. Some residents have built towns and gathered the resources to construct their own waypoints, which you can unlock the ability to fast-travel to by venturing there yourself. Much of the landscape is yet unexplored, and each week new adventures are introduced. For those who enjoy a good challenge, the overworld is bustling with deep caves, and the monsters that come out at night will be no allies. PvP arenas let you challenge your friends and humiliate your foes - paying you out for putting up a good fight. The Underdome and Woodland arenas let you demonstrate your gladiatorial might against wave after wave of things that go bump in the night, with spoils to those who entertain. Vast parkour challenges, one of which has only been completed by two players in the history of the server, will spare you no mercy. Unrelenting instanced temples will push you to your limits, giving you fame and fortune if you show the world that you are a true hero. Accumulate enough might and you can unlock ancient secrets, letting you use magic spells to control the world around you. We think it's important to foster a strong community, and our player ranks are thus tied to activity on the server. As you continue to build your legend and establish your presence, you will earn your way to glory and prestige. Players' investments have helped him establish a central Trading Hall with traders whose routes cross not only Prosperus, but all the realms yet discovered! Investing gold with Feste will improve the trading prices available through the Trading Hall by fortifying the routes the traders travel. (The fortifications and trade routes are metaphorical. For now.) Each week, the quality of the fortifications will degrade a bit - maintaining a stable price point will require continual community investment. Emeralds and items are the primary currency of the trading hall, and your gold currency is only good with Feste. Trade in your extra items for emeralds, trade your emeralds for enchantment books and other wares, and enjoy all that the Trading Hall has to offer! RELEASED: Quest system rework! Wahrheit has undertaken a complete rework of our quest system from the ground up. The new system has a stronger new player onboarding experience, providing clear direction and progression in terms of both acclimating to the server's gameplay and having the resources to do so. After all of the old quests have been successfully implemented, the new system will support deep, rich interactions with dynamic dialogue and opportunities! RELEASED: Speak to Veriana to visit Avenfeld! A new visitor to the Magic Tower seems to have a knack for channeling the dark energy latent in the bones of slain monsters. Bring her your Phantasmal Bones and she can send you to Avenfeld, a wondrous realm full of adventure and intrigue! RELEASED: Automatic events! Every weekend, special events will automatically activate! The first event release is Tribute - gather Tribute of the Gods and bring it to the Oracle of the Gods in Dawn's Landing. Offer enough Tribute and you'll earn a blessing from the Gods - but you're not working alone, progress towards blessings is collaborative! Bring your friends, group up to gather Tribute, and give the Gods a worthy offering! RELEASED: New enemies! Dark cultists have started appearing across the realms. Chertia is a semi-vanilla survival server set in a land of magic and monsters known as the Kingdom of Chertia. This server is heavily inspired by Mianite, but has evolved over time. We've created our own identity with completely new characters and an ongoing story that everyone is able to contribute to in some way or another. Throughout your adventures on Chertia, you will encounter and interact with interesting player and story characters. Regular (usually 2-4 times weekly) events ranging from fun games to perilous adventures will keep you engaged with the server in a unique way. The server is on normal difficulty and is hosted in Montréal, Québec. It runs on PaperMC (Purpur). Season 4 began on Friday, August 6, 2021. The Story You are thrown into the mysterious world of Ahiro, in the Kingdom of Chertia. More specifically, the province of Calytrix. Osmond, a character from Season 3, returns alongside a wide cast of all-new characters. The interactions between the player characters and story characters will play the central role this season. The Server Chertia is mainly a semi-vanilla survival server. While we do have plenty of custom features, items and enchantments, these are mostly optional and can be ignored if you wish for a more traditional 'vanilla survival' experience. Roleplay is not required, but there is often roleplay going on! We like to distinguish this with a dedicated 'in-character' chat mode, where each player can identify themselves as roleplaying (or wanting to roleplay) in the tablist and switch to a special 'character name'. We are LGBT friendly and anti-racist and do not allow any bigotry, obscenely offensive jokes, and any type of slurs. We play on java for the SMP but sometimes we will just chill in calls and play other Minecraft games like bedwars (even if we are not good lol). The server is 17+ because we do want to play with people around our age, cause ye know. The server has already been up for a bit, like 3 months or so, but we would love to meet some new nice people. We are currently in 1.17 but the server did start as 1.16. You also will not have to travel too far for the new regions. We do have some quirks with the server such as a few plugins that help with the game like 1 person sleeping. We also have a battle arena tournament where we can win things that you would not usually get in survival like slightly op enchantments and mob spawners, this is here just to keep the smp interesting. We even have a few new bosses where they can drop some op enchantments. Final thing is that it is a SMP so there's no griefing, stealing, and unsolicited killing. GatKong created this MineCraft datapack in the spirit of that original UHC season, but made it more difficult with a few additions. On this server, this is how you'll be playing: There are no teams. Free-For-All is the order of business here. PvP is enabled, but you'll need to find other players if that's how you want to win. There's a whole world out there. No borders, shrinking or otherwise. Go see it! The game lasts a week, from Friday to Friday. The server resets every week, with a new world and nothing carried over. This will happen Friday afternoon in US time. The winner will be determined based on points. You score points for being logged in, gaining experience, killing things, getting achievements. The first dragon kill is the big score, and is worth 12,000 points to whomever manages it. That won't guarantee victory though, because you can respawn the dragon for another 12,000 points, so don't give up, and don't stop just because you got it. If you die, you don't win. Anyone might die, even the leader. This world is not friendly. No one is going to be on all the time, and there'll be time to jump in, score big and win, possibly as late as a few hours before the reset.
