Comprised of the proud Dwarven clans of Votha, the star-gazing high-elf Caeli, humans recently returned from Hell called The Lambent Front and more recently the mysterious Myriad; constructs who awoke from long slumbers upon the arrival of newcomers on Nebelloren. The seat of their power is Parravon, a feudal city built in the northern fjords from which they now govern their people in this strange new land.
Made up of the comfort-loving halfling Cuthail, the plant-like elven Kihai, the spiritual and wise orcish Hjen and the traditionalist monster-hunting human Endless Spears, the Wildchoir prides itself on becoming one with nature. Having been driven from their first settlement on Nebelloren due to the risk of upsetting the strange forces of a malevolent forest, and again from their home on the high reaching Savannah Plateau, The Wildchoir has now settled near Parravon and is working together with the Imeris Entente to reestablish a foothold on Nebelloren. We try to stay vanilla as much as possible but with a few quality of life changes and tweaks for more enjoyment. We started out as a small group of friends from Germany. We are in our mid 20s and have been enjoying Minecraft since our school years. We have always been keen on playing together and having fun in this virtual world. Living in a world not only by ourselves is a lot more enjoyable and fun! Seeing buildings grow and other things being built from other people is just a great feeling and gives so much joy. The world is decently old and there are many abandoned bases, depending on who's base it is, these bases may be claimed and brought back to life. If that is not your thing, there is near unlimited unclaimed land... just go anywhere! :) (We don't have any land claim plugins, if you see no base near the spot you like just place a few signs down). If you don't feel like building alone, I am happy to introduce my big mountain area project that needs a lot of work but is looking great already. Or just ask others to come help out or form a partnership! There are also a few groups around that you will learn to know that exist. There are some projects around spawn where we build together too! Getting involved with the community helps motivate everyone and you can definitely make new friends here! :) Features: This is a vanilla server and there are no mods installed. We are running on papermc with a few little tweaks that visually don't change the vanilla gameplay but improve the vanilla experience on a server by a lot! We do everything in survival, no creative or other game modes. There will be no commands for items/levels/spawning etc. We do like to keep track of how many deaths someone has, so we use the scoreboard for this. We use a few tweaks without destroying the vanilla experience, some are just plain fun, some are near essential for a SMP. None are final and everything is voted on by the community: Mob Heads have a chance of dropping on a kill (Reason: Fun) Player Heads will drop if killed by a player (Reason: Fun) The Enderdragon will drop an elytra (Reason: this helps the long marches through the end when it's been raided for thousands of blocks already) Shulkers drop 2 shells each (Reason: Same as above) AFK Display (Reason: To see if someone is afk and not active) Multiplayer Sleep (Reason: only 1/3 of the online players in the overworld have to sleep to skip the night) Minecraft Speed Plug-in (MSP - This allows you to accelerate the Minecarts top speed. There are many ways to travel fast. Minecarts are near points less because of the slow max speed. This plugin changes the speeds, but only if one desires) Craftable Sand and Spore Blossom (As we do not allow duping and using end portal glitches etc we have a complicated method of crafting sand. If one needs too much sand for a project, he/she is able to use this renewable method by building a few farms) Creative World Portal (At Spawn there is a custom custom Portal which sends out into a small Flat World with Creative Mod. Here you have a separate inventory but you can collaborate with others without leaving the server! Check it out it has many cool builds already, most of them have been built in our Survival World too! Core Protect and Vanish (These are here for your safety! Only some mods and me are able to use them. We log every single thing somebody does, be it placing blocks, setting a building on fire or taking something out of a chest. By logging all this nobody can cheat or grief on the server. Furthermore we can undo any action a player takes by simply typing 1 command. Just a mostly vanilla server. LWC is the only real gameplay changing mod, but it's setup to only lock things when you use /lock otherwise everything plays like vanilla. (Nothing locks by default). The original launch of this server was a few months ago and it was quite active for the first few weeks and then it slowly died down. I think this time it will do better since I have made improvements since the first time such as the dynmap, grief protection, and a much nicer spawn area. RandomSkyBlock RandomSkyBlock is a unique twist of the classic gamemode: Skyblock. You will be given a random item every 15 seconds (10 for new players) from any of the materials in the entire Minecraft catalog. Your luck will be tested, and you'll have to engineer your way to the top just as you would on an ordinary Skyblock server! If PvP is your jam, you can hop into our expansive warzone with the gear you acquire to pillage even more, whether it be through other players or our unique events that happen within. Server: The server would be a set seed, with a mushroom island at spawn, this island is the shopping district, only shops can be built there, there would also be a gaming district island, and a nether hub where only those appropriate items can be built. Apart from those areas, anyone can build anywhere (coords chat in discord to claim base area). Moderation: I have ran two servers before, one public, and one friends-only server. However I have had feedback that I am strict, so to help with moderation I will be looking for admins from members who join (roughly 1/10). | Looking for bedrock [vanilla] [smp] {whitelist} Posted: 26 Sep 2021 04:27 AM PDT looking for a bedrock server similar to truly bedrock that hasn't started yet. I was looking to start youtube as well on this server so I would be happy for some tips. I'm not a bad builder and not bad at redstone, I don't like to grief and am not very good at PVP. Any sort of semi vanilla tweaks like player and mob heads drop when killed or proximity mod or even mods that can make armor stands invisible with white die but nothing that doesn't make it minecraft like new items and new biomes. I would like to play on 1.17.3 because I don't feel like trying to down grade on bedrock edition. Like I said earlier I want to start a server with people not join one 2 weeks in. NostalgiaCraft has none of this. Instead, you'll find a fun community with as few restrictions as possible while still fostering a non-toxic environment. NostalgiaCraft has numerous features that solve many annoyances of other multiplayer MC servers. The end has chunk rotation, meaning chunks not visited in 2 weeks get deleted, so there's never a shortage of shulkers and elytras! You can toggle phantoms for yourself, so they won't annoy you at night anymore. Overall, the gameplay is vanilla, and we do not have any plugins/mods that change vanilla Minecraft gameplay. Groups are very common on NostalgiaCraft, you can join the server and ask to be recruited into a group or start your own and dominate the lands!
