    Near Vanilla is a close-knit community server where we've created an environment where players come together to build, collect, explore, and have fun. The perks of being a member can be seen in our cooperative builds, player competitions, vibrant shopping district, and other events. All play styles are welcome, from those who want to venture out on their own to those who want to work cooperatively with others.     Near Vanilla is an international, community-driven server. There is constant communication on our Discord, both serious discussion and silliness. We constantly seek the opinions and views of the player base and large changes are made through player discussion. Suggestions are always welcome. A dedicated admin team is always on hand to make sure things are working smoothly, bad behavior is squashed, and your time on the server is stress-free.     Hi everyone! We are a relatively small community of excited Minecraft players, and we are looking for some people to join us!

    About us

    We are a group of players that share a love for Minecraft. We have a variety of different people and playstyles: we have people who focus mainly on building, people who love messing around with redstone, people who like to work on projects with others, and people who simply want to have their own house somewhere. What binds us all together is the fact that we like to play with other people, and have a chat with each other every now and then, either in Minecraft or in our discord server!

    About our world

    We're playing on a regular vanilla world that we plan to keep long-term. We started a few months ago when 1.17 was released. We don't have a lot of buildings yet, but we have a few projects we started working on:

    • The community spawn area: here we have a small starter village where everyone is invited to build a small house. There are some farms too, so that new players won't starve to death.
    • The shopping district: where everyone can build their own shops to sell items.
    • The minigame district: this area is still very empty, so if you have a fun Minecraft minigame in mind, we are excited to see it!

    Most of our players have their own base somewhere, by themselves or with a few others, and every now and then we try to get together to work on builds for the communal areas.

    Extra Activities

    Besides playing Minecraft together, we also hold mini-game events every now and then, where we play minigames or other games like Jackbox Party, Cards Against Humanity, Skribbl.io and others. We have gamenights at least every other weekend, and sometimes more. During these events, we usually sit in voicechat together. Everyone is invited to join, but nothing is obligatory :)

    Who are we looking for?

    We are looking for active, friendly players that want to be part of a long-term community.

    We accept players that are 17 or older, but don't worry if you're a bit older - most of our players are somewhere between 20 and 30 years old. It doesn't matter how much experience you have with Minecraft, both experienced and newer players are welcome.

    Our plan for 1.18

    As we are trying to keep our world for as long as possible, we have made a plan to migrate to 1.18 once it is released. We want to incorporate the new caves and cliffs, but we don't want to lose all our building progress. So, what we will do is the following:

    • When 1.18 drops, all players will need to mark the corners of their bases with a recognizable block and send the coordinates to the staff team
    • Then, we will take the server offline and generate a new 1.18 world with the same seed we are currently using
    • Afterwards, we will manually copy every single marked structure over to the new 1.18 world (at the exact same coordinates)
    • Once this is done, we can all continue playing like normal!

    We are aware that due to the terrain generations we can't guarantee that the structure will fit as nicely in its environment as it did on the 1.17 world. In some cases manual relocation or terraforming will be needed to a certain extent. Of course we will discuss this when the time comes, and we will do our best to let this impact the players as little as possible.

    Technical details

    Our world runs on Paper. We try to play on the latest release, so when a new version releases we will most likely update as soon as possible! We aim to have our gameplay stay as close to vanilla as possible, but we do use a few plugins and datapacks for minor improvements, such as One Player Sleep and Armor Statues. We also make use of a Resource World, so that we don't have to destroy the terrain of our regular world by mining large amounts of resources, and we have a separate Creative World where you can work together on designs. You can read about all our plugins and features in our Discord server, and if you are still curious after that, we will happily answer any questions!

    Rules

    • No cheating, griefing or X-Ray: we do regular checks to keep cheaters out of our server and offer a fair gameplay experience for all
    • No mods that will enhance game play to an unfair advantage - but things such as minimap mods and optifine/shaders are completely fine. (Ask one of our moderators if you're unsure whether your mod is allowed!)
    • Be polite: racism, sexism and homophobia will not be tolerated. This speaks for itself, but do not harass other players. We want our server to be a safe space for everyone.
    • Use common sense and ask questions if you're uncertain about anything!

    Welcome to Knibbex!

    Knibbex is a survival vanilla minecraft community. We have a selection of datapacks but try to stay as close to vanilla as we can.     General Information:

    StickyMC is server where players play an enhanced version of survival. Players can establish their own town and later on their own kingdom. While we have a lot of unique features to offer, our main goal is to establish an enjoyable community with chill vibes only. Here is a few of the things we have to offer.

    General Summary
    Hillcrest is a server focused on providing an environment with minimal moderation, lacking the protections you find on most survival servers. With this though we aim to provide a unique endgame survival experience with additions like SlimeFun and custom enchants, in a more chaotic environment. To achieve this, raiding, griefing, and PvP are permitted everywhere but in the core spawn region. We also have quality of life features spanning from player-to-player teleportation to the ability to set a home, to the ability to use leads on villagers, and wind that slightly alters Elytra speed and mobs. To ensure raiding remains lucrative, enderchests are only 1 row and backpacks and other portable storage devices within SlimeFun are disabled.

    Introducing Alinea - Town Based Survivial

    Alinea Together is a cooperative almost-Vanilla SMP Minecraft server. Players survive together in a server town, lead by a mayor who is elected every two weeks. Check below how to get whitelisted!

    The world originally started with an incredibly small world border, confining players to an 8x8 chunk area.     How do I get whitelisted?
    To get whitelisted, join our discord via discord.alinea-mc.com and check out #atmc-info. We do not have a formal whitelisting process. We will just ask you some questions, and feel if you are sufficiently trustworthy.

    What is the age demographic of the server?
    We don't have a hard cut-off age, but we expect maturity from our players. Most of our players are in their late teens to early twenties.

    **What is the geographic demographic of the server?**
    We have players from all over the world, but most are from Europe and North America.

    How big is the community?
    Our entire community counts around 80 members, although not everyone necessarily plays Minecraft. Our Minecraft server has 30 whitelisted players, and around 10 of those are active players.

    Where can I learn more about the town system, and how can I get elected as mayor?

    How do I claim land?
    Just like in Vanilla Minecraft, you cannot claim land. You can build somewhere, and other players are expected to respect your property. Because we are a whitelisted server with a relatively mature player base, this system has worked perfectly so far. In the worst case, we have some moderation wizardry up our sleeves.

    Are there wars or other conflicts?
    No. Alinea Together is a cooperative-style server, and PvP without consent of both parties is not allowed. The entire world is considered part of the server town, so everyone is expected to work together or at least not negatively interfere with others.     Do you play any other games?

    Prosperity is an SMP server inspired by Hermitcraft and SciCraft, with a focus on large projects, high-level gameplay, and community. The server is running a collection of mods and tweaks to make more items renewable and enhance the gameplay experience.

    Projects

    Various projects are in planning or being worked on at any given time. The main projects that come to mind are a proposed spawn perimeter, nether hub, community village trader, and our own Carpet addon.

    While there are big projects planned there is always someone looking to start something new or help out with a project, so it's a great time to join and start something.

    Community

    The Prosperity community is small, and primarily composed of builders and technical players, although everyone⁰ will be accepted. As stated above, there is always someone willing to help out with a project or provide feedback.

    Mods and tweaks

    The server is modded, but fully compatible with vanilla. That means that all features work serverside¹, can be used with a vanilla client, and can be replicated using the public configs on a singleplayer world.

    The features introduced bring quality of life changes, performance improvements, and most interestingly, new possibilities for farms and redstone. These changes are documented on the wiki, and introduce features like auto-crafting, movable tile entities, and sticky chains.

    Servers and administration

    The server is run with a 4Ghz CPU, 10GB of RAM, and is hosted in the US. As well as this the server also has a fairly high 16 chunk view-distance². Connecting from Taiwan I get ~150 ping. While I can't guarantee 20TPS³, I have never seen the server drop below that, even with multiple players and demanding farms.

    As far as administration goes, I am always open to new suggestions, and willing to help with issues any way I can. The server runs an extensive logging mod and makes daily backups if there are any issues.

    Who are we?

    Phoxis is a small active minecraft server looking to grow the community. We strive to enhance the minecraft vanilla experience through the introduction of plugins. The minecraft version is currently 1.17.1 java edition!

    How are we different to other MC Servers?

    Races! Do you ever feel bored of playing vanilla minecraft? Well in this server, every player has the ability to change their race. Ranging from Vampires to Lycanthropes, Angels to Demons and many more! Don't worry, if this doesn't suit you, you can pick a human race for a more vanilla-like experience.

    Other features

    To make the players have a more immersive feel, we incorporated a Towny plugin. Players are able to create towns and nations (if they are ambitious) and invite others to join them. In doing so, you can create alliances, start wars (though we haven't had one yet! Thankfully) or simply a safe haven from those nasty mobs.

    Speaking of mobs, we have custom mobs such as unicorns. We have many more, but you'll have to find out by joining the server!

    Events

    Every week, we try to spice up the server by doing weekly events such as Hide and Seek and Boss Battles. Winners of these events are rewarded with awesome prizes as well as all participants who took part in the event! If I, were you, I would try and take part in all events!

    Current plugins

    Plugins include McMMO, economy, Towny, custom items and multiple dimensions such as Mining and Nether dimensions. These dimensions will get reset every 3 months or so; this is because it allows new players to gather materials that are much harder to find in the survival world. By the way, the End also gets reset every 3 months or so. Finally, there is also a Creative world in which you can buy plots and build whatever you want in creative. A more detailed list of plugins is available in spawn!

    **What is FreshlySMP?**

    FreshlySMP is a 'fresh' survival multiplayer server with some quality of life data packs installed. The goal here is to make a long lasting, community oriented server that we can all call home.     What is HighMC?

    HighMc is a 1.17 Skyblock server with many features that are all free and obtainable. The server was created because I struggled to find a sky-block server that wasn't P2W and didn't give you that feeling of "its not worth playing because of the donating perks making the game-play heavily in the favor of the "Donors"

    What features/plugins are available?

    Heres a brief list of what the server is running..

    - We have minions, being Slayer, Miner, Collector, and farmer that are upgrade-able and are obtained by opening reward crates from quests and by opening the voting crate

    - Ore Generation, ores are generated by using a simple cobblestone generator. There are currently 9 tiers of generator, all of which are free and are unlocked by island level and also purchased through the ingame shop

    - Quests, complete quests for in game money and reward tokens that can be used to purchase island fly tokens, crates and items from the rewards trader at spawn

    - We feature a configured help GUI, that will display information about plugins, commands, and general game play information.

    - The server features Mob Arena where you can fight in a team of between 1 and 6. And compete for in game rewards, tokens, items and money

    - Upgrade-able spawners are a feature on HighMC, using /spawnershop you can purchase different types of spawners, which are stackable and upgradeable.

    - Server shop, the server shop is the place to go when selling farmed crops, mob drops and items for cash. Here you can also upgrade your island by increasing the size, hopper limit and more

Ruqquscraft was founded back in August 2020 by Kronus_ (my minecraft username), and we just turned a year old! Since then we have been growing our community of players. Our community is tight-knit, integrated with Discord (in game chat and Discord chat is bridged), and very friendly and welcoming! We hope you give us a shot!

    We are currently constructing a hub server to bridge between our different servers more seamlessly, but you can switch between servers currently using /server [creative/survival/towny] right now.

    You can find our Discord link in the Quick Links section below, but I recommend reading through the ad first to see if Ruqquscraft seems right for you!

    All three servers are grey listed, which means that permissions for plugins are limited until you apply and are verified, so if you're interested in joining us please join our Discord and fill out an application in #applications in order to be verified. You only need to apply once :)

    You can also apply for the grey list by registering for our forums and submitting an application through there as well. Must be 16 years or older to apply.

    I started Ruqquscraft back when I was getting back into Minecraft in 1.16.3, I am a college grad with a degree in Comp Sci and I love to tinker around with redstone, create awesome builds, and just hang out with my server community in general. I like to encourage all styles of play, whether you like to create automated redstone farms or you prefer to make epic builds or even collaborate with friends to make a town, I want Ruqquscraft to be a place where there is something for everyone.

    My goal is not only to create an active and friendly Minecraft environment, but to also develop and grow a community of friends as well. We have had a solid core userbase since the beginning, but we are always looking to expand our community and make new friends wherever they may come from. Of course, we would love to get to know you!!

      • From the beginning we have stuck close to the vanilla experience for our survival server and have used a minimal amount of plugins, the plugins we do add are generally for quality of life and are voted on before they are added to ensure the majority is ok with it. We perform no map resets and communicate any major changes with the community whenever they come up.

    The World of Theia 1.16.5 Worldbuilding [PVP] [Roleplay]

    Hello! I am posting this because I am looking for players interested in joining me on this Minecraft server, Theia. The server has Towny and Dynmap, but prides itself on being a world-building server. The server is relatively fresh, but has a lot of unique groups, and a lot of rich lore and history created by the players. Players are able to access a server wiki, which is used to create a story for your town, if you choose. But, if you don't want to, that is perfectly fine. The best part of the server is that it has the ability to cater to those who want to roleplay, but does not enforce it, and allows players from different preferences to join together and have a good time.     NomadCraft [SMP] [Semi-vanilla] {Survival} {Simple Datapacks} {Hermitcraft-inspired} {Whitelisted} {1.17}

    We are looking for players for our server that is HEAVILY inspired by Hermitcraft. We are using the same datapacks, and inspired by their 8th season we have a seed with a big continental island surrounded by sea. When 1.18 comes everything outside of the continent will be reset so we can enjoy the new Caves & Cliffs.

    The server started 25th of June. We are hoping to find mature players that will contribute to the community we will build together. Starting on an island we will be relatively close to one another, and are planning on doing some community builds together throughout the season as each player builds their own base.

    This far we have built an amazing community of players that are kind, helpful, creative and friendly. We have not yet had any negative experiences with any of the players or any toxicity. That's why you should join this server! Not only are we playing the newest versions of Minecraft, but we are also a group of nice people, skilled redstoners, creative builders, hard-working miners, and an all round fantastic community.

    As we are a few months into the 1st season of this server there are already many fine builds in our world. However, there are room for plenty more bases and players!     If you've been thinking about giving anarchy a try but weren't sure how to get into it then Sweet Anarchy is a great place to start. We have more than one working dupe and you can use the client of your choice with VERY LITTLE anti-cheat on the server. You've heard stories about fly and speed hacks, baritone and kill aura: come to a server where you can play around and experience those hacks.

    We have a small but active community that usually quiets down during U.S. evenings / EU night time. If you login and no one is online that means you can escape spawn and build a starter base without worrying about getting killed.
