Everything is left to you, the players, and there are no gameplay rules, no admin interference. There are no commands such as /home and /tpa and no plugins that alter gameplay. Basic Player/Meta info: Despite Specterium being 2.5 years old, the economy is suprisingly stable, with practically no duped items on the server and therefore farms are needed. The server playerbase is relatively friendly for an anarchy server. However, don't expect free handouts when playing this server. The server playerbase is mostly comprised of builders and some greifers with few pvpers. The highway infrastructure is good. The server has a small, intermittent pvp scene. The server's world will never reset. You are allowed to any client modifications. Notes: No admin interference doesn't mean the admin will not patch (prevent them from working) dupes and exploits that he finds/are publicised. The admin will also remove lag machines. | EUSurvival [anarchy] {vanilla} {no hack} {1.17} Posted: 06 Nov 2021 08:16 AM PDT EUSurvival is exactly what it sounds like. A survival server based in Europe. Our goal is simple, to create a non-resetting map where peoples ideas and builds can come together. We aim to strive as close to vanilla Minecraft as possible in servers and allow an "anarchy" style feel to the game, whilst disallowing hacked clients. The server was set up on the 23rd July 2021 and we will never reset from this map. Those of you familiar with the term anarchy in Minecraft are likely familiar with FitMC, our ideals are similar to 2b2t however we disallowed hacked clients to make the game more fair. Many players opt to create history in the way of massive builds that are incredibly hard to create on survival servers, some create huge farms with complicated redstone mechanics, and others embrace full anarchy and loot and pillage any and all builds they can find. This creates an interesting dynamic where builders will often hide their bases in careful ways to prevent being found whilst they work on their masterpieces. The idea of allowing griefing is intentional as we aim to mirror a survival experience as best as possible, there is no protection from people in vanilla Minecraft and the thrill of that is often enjoyable. We noticed a lack of anarchy style survival servers in the EU Community and so set our goals on providing a server for people seeking better ping and connection to the server. Despite this, ping is good for other players such as NA East often receiving around 80 ping which is good. I'm Pengunned, and I run a SMP that's running on 1.18 (featuring the new terrain generation and expansion of terrain all the way down to y=-65) ! We've just started the other day, so everyone's still pretty new - No complicated farms or anything have been built yet! The server's currently running on 1.18 snapshot 21w42a with the intention to upgrade to 1.18 upon release and hopefully any versions after that, and is currently running with no plugins or mods. THE SERVER IS INTENDED TO BE LONG TERM. The server's more of a "choose your own adventure" type deal, featuring roleplay elements, lore, and factions, though one can go off on their own and won't be penalized for it. Currently, we have several factions (each with varying degree of participation in lore and roleplay), many of whom are in the process of planning to build or building their bases. However, very few people are safe - To keep an element of risk and excitement in the SMP, wars are allowed, and killing is also allowed (with stipulations to prevent abuse)! The server is also unique in that various events are and will be hosted, either by myself or by the players and their factions. As an example of an event, yesterday I built an ancient labyrinth filled with loot (and danger) and invited players to go look for it and reap the rewards. I plan on hosting more of these types of events, where players will be given an opportunity to gain loot of varying degrees of usefulness, some of which may be extremely rare items that provide a benefit to the user who finds them. I'm looking for people who are reasonably active and can at least log on for important events that may happen. You don't have to be super invested or log on every day or anything like that, though I don't want people who will log on once and then never again - If you find yourself on the server and decide it isn't for you, feel free to leave at any time! | Posted: 06 Nov 2021 09:26 AM PDT We are a longstanding SMP with currently ~8 active players and we are looking for more! A few players have been there since the early days, others since last year, and a few joined only recently.
Our main guideline to leave the "meta" of pure vanilla survival as unaltered as possible (for a public server). The only 3 plugins that interfere with this are: GriefPrevention, a sleep voting plugin, and player item shops for trading. That means as many features from other plugins you know from other servers are absent by design and won't be added. There are two ranks "new" and "player", they do not give any benefits. You can not buy "power" for real money here and we have no adminshops. What you have read so far sounds like your cup of tea? Well then you may fit right in. Laid back rules, a close knit community, having some events from time to time, and there is always something you can help with. Staff is usually available to help. Need help digging? Just died far away? No problem.We also have a Hermitcraft-like shop area for players using a trade shop plugin.
This is supposed to feel like a vanilla server. The main currency is diamonds. This is not enforced in any wat its just what everyone uses. We have no warps, you have to walk, or fly by elytra, or horse ot whatever.You can focus on long term projects, take your time, because we NEVER RESET the map. Leave for months, pick right up where you left. In over 6 years time we built a lot of farms and infrastructure. This makes it a lot easier to get going early in the game, especially for endgame players. But fear not, there is always need for expanding upon whats already there. The spawn city is protected. Areas there are released for community builds. Outside the city you can build your own base(s). You will get more claimblocks during play.
Hosted in Germany with 64GB Ram, a Ryzen 5 3600, and 512GB NVMe SSD; the server runs on Paper. Regarding updates we don't always run the latest version but we plan to update to every major release eventually.In case an update brings a big change in world generation (e.g. 1.16) we delete chunks that have been loaded less than 5 minutes. Meaning someone likely just passed by while exploring. For land claiming we use GriefPrevention, which lets you protect areas you selected with a golden shovel. You can allow certain or all players to build and or access chests/buttons, on your claim. It also protects your claims and the worlds surface from creepers. Then there is also a chest shop plugin. You can use iron nuggest to create villager-like trades. You can do this anywhere, but its recommended to do this in the shopping area or your claim. Harbor is a plugin which skips the night, if 50% or more players are in bed. Lastly there is one that lets you rotate Glazed Terracotta. Additionally we have some datapacks and tweaks: Ghasts don't break blocks. Shulkers respawn ~2 months after they were killed. You can silent mobs by naming them "silent" (undo with "unsilent"). Your first Enderdragon kill gets you an Elytra. Craftable Enchanted Golden Apples. Hermitcraft's posable Armorstands. Everyone starts with 3 lives, on green and yellow you are peaceful, and can only attack if people are raiding your base or if they attacked first. On red, your goal is to cause chaos, the only alliances that are allowed when on a red name, is with another red name. The last one standing wins. There will be mods to make it more interesting. We currently have about 8 to 10 active players and are hoping to grow. Based in Europe, we have players from all over the globe. We run the latest PaperMC but have removed some of the paper fixes so that e.g. bedrock breaking, improving villager trading by curing, etc is still allowed, together with a few plugins to assist with grief prevention and overall community integration. It is a randomly generated survival map with a world border currently at +/- 7500. We expanded the map to generate new 1.17 terrain, and will do again for 1.18. We do not plan on resetting the map. Some of the highlights you may find on the server can be seen here Server features: ✔️ Small but great team of staff with a mature and friendly attitude. ✔️ Difficulty is hard.Fire spread is turned off.Keep inventory is on. ✔️ No AFK kick. ✔️ Growing shop area in our community town Haven based on diamonds as a currency. ✔️ You can use the community town and farms in Haven and pick up some free food and kit there when you join, or just go it alone, you decide. Most players do a combination of both. ✔️ An online world map (Dynmap). ✔️ Creative world that you can access one week after joining. ✔️ Discord integration (chat with people in game from Discord)We also have voice channels but you decide if you want to vc or not. ✔️ Ability to set up to three homes to tp to as well as a warp to spawn. ✔️Your base and property are yours for as long as you want, even if you take a long break. No one is allowed to remove your belongings or take over your base. . We do have some rules we require players to follow. • Be considerate; do not build close to other players, give plenty of space. • No griefing or stealing. • No PvP without consent • No harassment or being inappropriate in chat. • No Cheating by any means. (Duplicating, X-Ray resource packs, map modification mods, obtaining seed, scripts of any kind, flying, ...). Optifine, schematics, minimaps are allowed. • TNT duping is an exception and is allowed on the server, HOWEVER, you must check with staff first. He thought Yerk would never fall to violence and greed. But he was wrong. Yerk is now up for grabs, but its future will be determined by the players. You spawn with fireballs, also known as Zooks. They are obtainable by killing new players, guards, and by crafting fire charges. Peasantry: Starting as a peasant, the only way to make money will be in the brutal mines and farms of Yerk. With money you can purchase ender pearls and teleport directly to the wildy where resources will be less competitive. But beware, PVP is on and there is no build protection in the wildy. You can rise above peasantry by raising money to start a business or buy land. You can also join the Royal Guard and compete for a position as king. Economy: You can buy, sell, or rent land and buildings. You can also open a shop. There are a few admin shops to help new players and stimulate the economy. The easiest ways to start making money are farming or mining the auto-mines in the city. You can also be a fisherman and earn 2-3 coins per fish. PVP: is disabled in most of Yerk City. You can kill unsuspecting miners that go too deep into the city mines. You can also rob factory workers smelting iron, or travel to the towns in greater Yerkshire or the Wildy where there is no block protection. Guards: Guards with the best performance and leadership will compete for position as king. As long as the king maintains a 30% approval rate, he will maintain power.
