Terrashift is a vanilla, whitelisted 1.17.1 server, with a focus on collaboration, and building a community. If you are interested in starting fresh, and would like play/build on a server akin to Hermitcraft with a focus on building a community, feel free to apply with the form listed at the end of the post, and we will get back to you as soon as possible! Details: If you feel like building and collaborating on giant redstone contraptions, or just want to build a cozy hut somewhere and relax, everything goes as long as you have fun! We are very builder-friendly, with multiple community farms available for everyone. Server rules are rather simple, the main guideline is: be nice, and have fun! That includes:
The main goal of the server is to be a place where everyone can feel welcome, and have fun together, so everything else goes as long everyone is ok with it. All server changes/additions/removals are to be voted on by all members, to make sure everyone has a say on the server direction as it develops. Currently, we are using Discord for voting, and day to day discussions, but that can be changed in the future. Currently, while we try to keep gameplay as vanilla as possible, server is running several datapacks:
All of the changes related to datapacks are decided by voting, so the list can change over time. There is no world border, but newbies are highly encouraged to stay somewhat close to center, to make collaboration easier later on. Our community is very important to us, so if you enjoy making friends while you play Minecraft, this may be a good group for you. Our age requirement is 16+, but we also have plenty of players in their 20's and 30's. Our current map has been up for a couple of months now, and we intend to keep this one up until at least the big 1.18 update. We do regularly reset the end to make sure there is fresh loot for everyone. If you're looking for a speed run server where you can beat the game and then leave, this probably isn't the best fit for you. If you're looking for a long term community where you can play games, make friends, and build awesome things, keep reading! About our ServerOur server has a towns theme, but it doesn't use the towny plugin. Basically, groups of people team up to create their own towns with houses, farms, and various community buildings. This is great for people who like to build cooperatively! If you consider yourself more of a loner style player, you can always make a solo base outside of a town instead. We are semi-vanilla, and players have access to commands like /spawn and /sethome. We also have dynmap available to help with navigation. Right now, our server has four towns. Golden Gears City is a town with impressive steampunk and industrial styled builds. Snowspire is a sprawling medieval town in the frozen tundra. Laissez Faire is a town where anyone can build anything they would like. Bluehaven is a small town created by a friendly group of players. The Phoenix Empire is the newest town, and it is focused on the nether. If none of these sound like your thing, you can always try your hand at creating a town of your own. I own a private SMP with some people and I am looking for some new members! We are a semi serious group of players, while none of us are pros we all have spent countless hours playing the game. We as a group vote on rules for the SMP so if you want a rule to be made you can make it happen. This server is completely vanilla and is by whitlest One thing to keep in mind is we are all in highschool, but be tend to be very mature.
