We're opening up applications for the second season of our SMP, and would love professional, mature players. Making content based on the server is welcome, but we ask for people that do have time to dedicate to the game, this isn't "come on twice every month and play for an hour".
We pride ourselves on being a semi-vanilla server that is similar to Hermitcraft, which we know is what a lot of people want! Overview Although this is "Season 2", our core playerbase has been together for 5 servers now since early 2020. Last season we decided to Start our own server properly instead of finding new servers for our large group, this was a great success. Although we have a staff team consisting of 7 well trusted members, we like to make decisions as a community. Staff's main responsibilities are to make sure the server is running well, cheaters are caught and everyone is having fun! Version & Start Date As of now, we are accepting applications in advance to ensure we can just get the server running as soon as possible. We are NOT LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO PLAN TO BUILD A HOUSE AND LEAVE. This is a SERIOUS SMP SERVER. Rules On important rules, we have ZERO TOLERANCE. These rules our listed in our discord, but it's pretty much just common sense. We've had players banned weeks into the server before for being caught x-raying, do don't bother joining if you're that player, especially with the update we're going to playing on. The whole point is spelunking!! Semi vanilla We aim to have a handful of plugins/ datapacks, (micro blocks, player/ mob heads, armor stands) Nothing that will change the core game. Some of our favorites are Dynmap, and a bot where ingame players can chat to the discord (and vice versa). Note: we may have to wait for some plugins to be updated for 1.18. We plan to continue running on yatopia which is well optimized for large groups of players. Seed The seed will be predetermined by staff to ensure everyone has access to the biomes they want within reasonable distance of spawn. The seed will never be made public, however Dynmap will reveal the preloaded area of the overworld and nether. Application If you think this server is for you, Our average age is 18, so take that into consideration. If I don't accept your friend request within 12 hours, DM me on reddit just with your Discord tag and requesting I add you. If I never respond to you after you send in your application, then sorry, but that's that. Don't argue with us please, we won't change our minds.

Nothing too fancy, just some basic plugins to make everything run a bit smoother. It's perfect for those just starting out with Minecraft, or people who are wanting to get back into it after a long break and looking for a simple server with nothing too crazy and a good group of people to hang out with. The server is actually hosted in New Zealand (most "New Zealand" servers are hosted in Australia), but we welcome and already have lots of players from all over the world. The goal of the server is just to keep it as a nice small community, and not turn into one of those giant multi-world multi-game mode servers.
