    We're looking for 5 adults who'd like to join in a relaxed explorational vanilla server. This server is geared towards those that find enjoyment from building, surviving, and exploring with others. If you're looking for casual, long term, and regular play, this is the place to be. Did you just get Minecraft, or did you start on Dwarf Fortress? We welcome any.

    Some of the unique characteristics of our server is that there's no coordinates (getting lost is a real possibility). There's no world border (we're serious...getting lost stinks!). And no, 0, zip, nada plugins, grief prevention, back-up-every-10-min, and no commands/command blocks (no teleportation here!)

    "That sounds terrifying! What do you have!" Well, there's no theft here. You'll never hear complaint of someone stealing/destroying/bossing/attacking someone else. We don't have any of those generic 'jerk-defense plugins' because we don't let jerks join us. Simple as that.

    On our server, we start the new map when we have all of our members together on the same day, at the same time. So this means that even before we start playing, we're communicating with each other and trying to make things work between us.

    So what do we know about running a server or 'playing well with others'? Well, we started hosting a server in 2010, and continued through to 2013 while in college. We were an active group of engineers. Since then we've served as an Administrator for a server based in Scottland and New Zealand for a total of 2 years. We've spent enough time searching for a server that we really enjoy/can depend on that we've decided to start up our own again.

    The real question is, are there others that enjoy our proposed play style? And if so, are they interested in joining?

    Member Qualities:

    • Age 21+ Time constraints, courtesy, communication, and humor. To make a server work one needs a team they can support and can count on.

    • Discord Voice Talking eases planning and help keep us connected.

    • Don't Enjoy Solo Play We prefer those that have long since past the enjoyment of playing solo. Seeking someone to work with is a quality hard to find!

    • No Possession / Canadian standoff is preferred Nothing quite drives a wedge like petty disputes of ownership. Instead, we build for the benefit of each other. Take pride in being part of an idea! Be it your own or someone else's! We still have our inventory and enderchests

    • Likes to Share / Likes to lead Our server is only as creative as the members, and enjoyment comes from involving others. Have a plan, get others involved!

    • Builds Big / Efficient / Ornate / Detailed We may not have much at the start, but there will always be more. When you're with a team, you can build big! While one may build efficiently, others are gifted creatively. Both styles are encouraged!

    Generic Rules:

    • No Comments degrading Sex, Race, Ability, Origin, Occupation, Income

    • Outrage / Anger / Short Childish Tempers are not welcome

    • Youtube/Twitch/Beam/Mixer/Facebook/Reddit streamer? We don't, but you're welcome to just don't advertise to us and get consent of all members BEFORE recording/Sharing (we value individual privacy!)

    • Don't bug/nag to fight others...there are loads of servers for that style game play.

    Server Properties: Ones you'll notice

    • Difficulty HARD Starvation is a real threat here.

    • Max-players 10 This is the optomistic total after a year of playing and continued interest.

    • PvP TRUE Not to fight, but to keep others mindful of where they're swinging/shooting.

    • Spawn-protection (BLANK) As there are no OPs "the spawn protection will be disabled automatically"

    • View-distance 16 The greater the view, the more ease in exploration.

    • White-list TRUE No one gets in without this minimum.

    Game Rules: Other details you'll notice

    • doFireTick TRUE If it were possible, we'd go back to using Alpha fire spread mechanics.

    • doWeatherCycle TRUE Many are bothered by the rain, we consider it part of the world experience.

    • keepInventory FALSE Without this, death is inconsequential.

    • mobGriefing TRUE This allows the loss of progress...not just death.

    • reducedDebugInfo TRUE Getting lost is a real threat. Even the most experienced players can disappear in the wilderness.

    • sendCommandFeedback TRUE Keeps us honest.

    • showDeathMessages TRUE A catalyst for conversation. And the dry humor is much appreciated.

    • spawnRadius 1 X=0 Z=0, that's the origin of the world...and of spawn.

    Other Changes:

    • Removed Villager Resupply Mechanic: Pre 1.14 - One farming villager was enough for a server to trade wheat. After the 'resupply mechanic' was added - server player used 8+ villagers instead of one. Because of this mechanic not working to the benefit of the server resources, or the player experiences, we reverted it. I.E. We value your real life time - and don't want to have you waiting 5-10 min after every 12 trades.

    • Day / Night Chime: A chime with a Skull is played/seen when players can sleep in bed & mobs start spawning outside. Similar chime with a Sun is played/seen when Mobs have stopped burning from sunlight.

    • "Center-o-World" Signs: There's a sign located at the center of the Over World and Nether. This marks the origin of the world since world coordinates are disabled. This is how we get our nether portals lined up - as well as map out the 128 strongholds.

    That's about it. Since we're starting fresh with a new group - we expect this world to run for 3-6 months. And once several have made their stay, we'll restart full bore on a more robust server! So yes, this world/server is more of a 'preliminary screening'. Right on? Rock on!

    About Straight Up:

    Straight Up is a small, "run from home" style anarchy server, intended to create a laid-back survival experience that is as close to vanilla as possible. Griefing, PvP, and stealing are permitted.

    There is no /tpa, no /warp, no /home, no land claim or land protect, no currency, factions, econo-shit, or other annoying plugins that ruin the vanilla experience.

    Just Straight Up survival Minecraft. The way Minecraft was meant to be played.

    The map has never been reset since we started in April 2019, but new 1.18.1 terrain can be found within 10k blocks of spawn. Expect to start off at a random location somewhere within 500 blocks of x0,z0.

    Lately there have been Saturday PvP battles at an arena not far from spawn. New players can fight against each other for prizes given by older players.

    If you are an adult looking for a place to relax and enjoy Minecraft without childish behavior ruining the experience, welcome! With that said, we expect practical jokes, pranks and the like to be played. If you are overly sensitive, then this isn't the server for you.
     

    About the server
    The server is based out of France (Gravelines) and provided by our own dedicated server.
    We are a Java server running the latest PaperMC with a few changes in order to bring it back as close to the original vanilla as possible while maintaining many of the benefits of running Paper. This is a randomly generated survival map, with a few plugin concessions made only to facilitate administration, grief prevention and overall community integration. The game difficulty is set to hard and PVP will be enabled with the intent that it is used for consensual purposes and not griefing.

    What kind of players are we
    We are all adult players with normal lives who just happen to like Minecraft because it is relaxing and fun. We understand that people come and go, that motivation goes up and down. We joke and laugh and respect each other. We also try to get together regularly (on Discord) and do things together in game (mini-games, base tours etc). The current average age is well above 25 at the moment. We tend to have some friendly competitions which is why we have set up leaderboards where players can track progress for both in game statistics as well as our advancements system.

    What kind of server is this
    We promote a low stress community atmosphere, where we can take our time, think before we act, and have fun together! We respect each other and our differences. We act and communicate responsibly and take responsibility for our actions in game. It is a server free from griefing, thieving and moderators. We want you to help us make a tight knit community of fun-loving Minecrafters.

    Game altering features:
    ✔️ TreeAssist (toggleable).
    ✔️ Custom Advancements pack.
    ✔️ Enderman do not pick up blocks.
    ✔️ Ender Dragon drops Elytra and Egg.
    ✔️ Husks have sand on their drop table.
    ✔️ World-border with a 10,000 block radius.
    ✔️ Fire spread from lightning is turned off.
    ✔️ Shulkers will drop 1-2 Shulker Shells upon death.
    ✔️ Mobs have a slim chance of dropping their head.
    ✔️ Ability to rotate and edit the parts of an armour stand.
    ✔️ Drowned have a very slim chance of dropping a trident even if not wearing one.
    ✔️ Trash items have a despawn timer of 2 minutes to prevent excessive ground items.
    ✔️ Loot inside Treasure chests will respawn between 2 & 10 hours (one person can only loot once).

    Light-weight add-ons:
    ✔️ 3 hour AFK limit.
    ✔️ Slime chunk map.
    ✔️ Single player sleep.
    ✔️ An online world map (Dynmap).
    ✔️ Discord integration (chat with people in game from Discord).

    Things we most likely will never implement:
    ❌ MCMmo.
    ❌ Landclaiming & container protection.
    ❌ Teleporting & warping.
    ❌ Setting homes.

    Here are some simple criteria for being accepted:

    • You are at least 18 years old.
    • You are a nice person (it is really that simple).
    • You aren't overly sensitive and you recognize this is a game and fun will be had.
    • You are not asking yourself "I wonder if I could be considered an adult.." right now.
    • You divulge accurate information about yourself. Not interested in men and women of mystery.

    Things that DO NOT matter:

    • Your redstone skills.
    • Your building skills.
    • You are an introverted hermit or an extroverted social communicator.

    Things that DO matter:

    We want to offer everybody a safe environment where they are able to have fun, meet new people, share their opinions, and be respected on the server. The focus of our rules is to ensure a positive and accepting environment for all our users.

    We have a strict zero tolerance policy, players doing any of these things will be removed from our community permanently. We don't want our members feeling cheated or abused, so we aren't going to lower the bar just to keep a person around. Recognizing a fine line however is important. I am specifically talking about pranks and jokes. We have many on this server now who like to welcome new players with some practical jokes - the end state of course being that you conducted yourself admirably through it all and you end up rewarded.

    Civ Redemption is a brand new minecraft civilization server. We have custom plugins that you probably haven't seen before in minecraft: Citadel, Namelayer, Factorymod, and Prison Pearl.

     

    These plugins allow you protect your items, and imprison those who oppose you! Players can moderate the server using provided in-game plugins. Admins don't ban raiders or griefers, but you have all the tools you need to find out who raided you, capture and imprison them, and bring them to justice.

    Server Details:

    We are a small, community driven server. A majority of the players are adults, but any age group is welcome with maturity! We are currently trying to build our playerbase and introduce an idea close to a towns server. This would allow players to have a public warp to their claim to show off their builds!

    Claims are used to protect your builds and prevent griefing. Our claiming plugin has many customizable flags that you can set yourself!

    The server utilizes a rank progression system. Each rank will unlock more commands, claims, and homesets. To give everyone an equal chance, ranking is obtained by voting and the use of diamonds! There is no P2W.

    Voting will also reward nuggz which can be used in the player market! Everyone is able to purchase a shopkeeper to sell their goods to others who might not want to spend the time obtaining them! Don't feel like setting up a shop? We have a secure trading system in place that can allow you to quickly trade with another player!

    Overview:

    Our SMP is a fairly new Java server made up of a small, close-knit community of adults all over the age of 18. The world is only five weeks old, with new players always coming in, so you won't have to worry about catching up! We are looking for experienced and dedicated players, who want a long-term server and like to build big projects. We have a few community farms to help people get started, but we also encourage players to be self-sufficient and run shops in our shopping district! We have players from all around the world, so all are welcome. We have a great team of dedicated admins to ensure the server runs smoothly at all times. The server is hosted in Virginia, US.

    There are still a plethora of big projects to do. We still do not have a nether hub, the spawn area/shopping district needs work, and of course any projects you may come up with yourself!

    The server is strictly vanilla but with a few quality of life features and plugins similar to what you'd see on Hermitcraft.

    We are the DM SMP, a mythology adjacent, semi-scripted and character casted SMP!

    One of our main goals with this server is to create a community of small streamers/youtubers/content creators, as well as collectively tell an amazing story. We are a very inclusive community with many LGBTQ+ members, members from several different countries, and we're actively seeking a diverse cast to help us tell a story about community.

    How scripted is it? We have planned out the main points of the first season, but how we get to those points is all up to our members. Each character in our cast has one main attribute to build upon, but the rest is up to your interpretation.     Hello,

    AestheTech is a Whitelisted 1.18.2 Fabric Vanilla Survival Server with a fresh world that started on March 21nd, 2022. We are tech-focused, but we also want to build bases and make all our builds look good, hence the server's name: Aesthetic + Tech = AestheTech. Players are free to either work on community projects at spawn, build their own bases and work on their own projects outside of spawn, or do a mix of both. We use a vote system on Discord to make decisions for the server.

    Hardware:

    The server runs on a dedicated machine with a Ryzen 9 3900 12-core CPU. It has 17gb DDR4 RAM allocated, with the possibility to allocate more if necessary.

    Auto-Backups:

    We make regular backups using the Textile Backup mod. A backup of the world is made every hour as long as at least one player (real or Carpet bot) is online. The ten most recent backup folders are kept.

    Creative Server:

    We also have a server with a Creative Superflat world where we plan big projects. It has 12gb of RAM allocated to it as well as the WorldEdit mod, more game rules and various other features. See our Discord server for more information. In the next few weeks, we will also add a third server that will be a Creative copy world of our main Survival world.

    Other Features:

    • Carpet commands as well as other commands (such as /seed and /here, and with more coming in the future) for all.

    • Proximity voice chat (with the Simple Voice Chat mod) on the Survival server.

    • All of Masa's Mods and related addons are supported, such as Itemscroller with the mass crafting fork, Litematica, Servux, Syncmatica to share schematics with everyone, and Litematica Printer with Easy Place Mode and Accurate Block Placement.

    • Many Carpet features, such as /player commands, and Scarpet scripts (including the /cam Spectator mode script), are also supported.

    • We're always adding and changing things, so you should expect this list of other features to grow and change in the future.

    Rules:

    Rules for All Servers:

    1. Be polite, kind and respectful. We're all here to have fun, and our time to do so is often limited, so let's make the most of it by being nice to each other.

    2. Don't destroy or modify builds that aren't your own without permission.

    3. Don't take items from containers (chests, barrels, shulker boxes, etc.) that aren't your own without permission.

    4. Don't use cheats.

    5. Don't intentionally do anything that might seriously hinder server performance to the point that the server becomes unplayable or crashes.

    Survival Rules:

    1. Don't abuse duping. Contraptions that rely heavily on duping will probably no longer work in the future, so let's not rely on them too much. TNT duping and gravity block duping are fine, but we should probably avoid things like carpet duping-based furnace arrays, rail duping, tripwire hook duping, etc.. This rule is flexible and can be adjusted is that's what the majority of the server wants. I'm personally not opposed to duping, I just don't think we should rely on it too much.

    2. Don't build anything permanent in the spawn chunks, we keep that space for community farms. The world spawn is at 0,0, so don't build anything permanent between -256,-256 and 256,256.

    Creative Rules:

    1. You must be an active member of the Survival server for at least 3 days before you can join the Creative server. This is because we want players who are primarily interested in playing Survival Minecraft, and therefore who mainly see the Creative server as a tool to plan Survival projects.

    First, join our Discord server here. For now, there is no application process. You simply need to post your IGN in the #post_your_ign_here Survival text channel on Discord and you will be added to the Whitelist.

    Falkor SMP is a Vanilla Survival server looking to grow its community. We are currently trying to build up our active players on a new 1.18.2 world, Vanilla with some QOL datapacks.     Project is a community consisting of players in their 30's, which is why we set a 21+ age requirement to try to cater to a similar age group.
