Phoxis is a small and active Minecraft server with a close-knit community. We strive to enhance the vanilla Minecraft experience through the use of custom plugins, most notably our races plugin, which is currently unique to Phoxis. We are currently running on Minecraft version 1.18.2! How are we different from other Minecraft Servers? Races! Do you ever feel bored of the vanilla Minecraft experience? On Phoxis, every player has the ability to change their race, providing a unique and customisable experience. Ranging from Vampires and Lycanthropes, to Angels and Demons, plus many, many more! Don't worry, if this doesn't suit you, you can pick the human race for a more vanilla-like experience. Every race comes with its pros and cons. You can find them listed in the spawn or our discord server. Other features To make the players feel more immersed and connected, we incorporated the Towny plugin. Players are able to create towns and nations (if they are ambitious) and invite others to join them. In doing so, you can create alliances, start wars or simply provide a safe haven from those nasty mobs. Speaking of mobs, we also have custom mobs such as unicorns, orcs and minotaurs, to name a few. We have many more, but you'll have to find out by joining the server! Events Every week, we try to spice up the server by hosting weekly events such as Hide-and-Seek and Boss Battles. Winners of these events are rewarded with awesome prizes, as well as all participants who took part in the event! If I were you, I would try and take part in all of these events! Current plugins Plugins include McMMO, economy, Towny and multiple dimensions such as Mining and Nether dimensions. These dimensions will get reset every 3 months or so; this is because it allows new players to gather materials that are much harder to find in the survival world. Get in early for a good head start as we grow. You can earn money passively with our jobs plugin. When in-game just type /jobs browse. You can join up to 3 jobs at one time, which will earn you money to spend in others shops or you can also use your money to buy in-game ranks that give you access to additional commands. Coins is an interesting feature that drops coins on the ground when you kill mobs as well as mine experience blocks. These coins are picked up and transferred into in-game currency. You also have a chance to get the heads of mobs you kill. These can be sold as well! There are no admin shops on this server, but we feature an area where players can build their own shops and set their own values for items that they find. Come leave your mark on the city on the new update! As its name states, this server has 2 different things you can get yourself into. First of all, its a whitelist SMP, with a generally small tight knight community. The SMP is based around the spawn city of Senioritia. Come add your mark to a city over 2 years old! It's NOT too late to start! Many people see that the city is 2 years old and think that they won't catch up, but the server is not competitive, and is more of a fun thing. Most of the most impressive builds in the city are actually made by people who started quite late. Most players on the server are not min maxing their builds, and are not that far ahead, and with a little grind you can easily outpace the current wave of players. The server is old not to keep a hierarchy, but to keep the history of the growing city. Instead of having spread out bases with infinite land, we prefer to build a dense city, with many different architectural styles incorporated in it. You can build anywhere that isn't already being built. The city focuses on real life architectural styles, and you can find Colonial/Georgian, Greek Revivalist American mansions, Romanesque Revival buildings, Brutalist, Post-Modern, and present day architecture in the city. The city is comprised of districts with their own unique styles and vibe, contribute to the city's architecture, create your own district, and leave your mark on a city built with many hands! Our goal is to create a real large urban area in survival Minecraft, incorporating stores, government departments and service buildings, and residential areas. The city also boasts lots of public spaces, including squares, parks, and a large community built WIP swamp bayou, on which many plan to put Louisiana style mansions along. To add atmosphere, the world decays over time, untended land has trees regrow and tall grass flood the area. Underground caves decay and grow vines over time. The city incorporates named roads, and addresses, along with basic building regulations and laws that anyone can suggest! There are specific departments to the maintenance of parks, etc, and we try to create a realistic and functional of a survival city as we can!Emeralds are money, which promotes the creation of autofarm towers which add to the urbanization of the city. But just building always gets boring doesn't it? That's where the Endgame part of the name comes into handy. In this server, mobs level up in power the farther you go from spawn. At around 7k~ blocks from spawn, the first tier of Endgame mobs begin to spawn. Endgame mobs drop impossible enchants like Sharpness 7, 8, 9, and even higher! The endgame uses a tier based drop table (lvl 70-84 drops sharpness 7, lvl 85-94 drops sharpness 8...etc) These mobs will put minecraft to the test requiring you to build specific mob killing outposts, walls, trenches, and everything you've seen in the minecraft guides but never actually used because vanilla mobs are so useless. These mobs have server-custom low drop chances, and add a whole new grind to the game if you choose to obtain the super enchants. The server follows an RPG progression, so the more time you spend the more infinitely powerful you can become. We also have Golden Enchants for custom enchants. There is a decent amount of server politics, with a runthrough being the server has been controlled by the capitalist MegaCorp regime, but recently, the power dynamic is being shifted to the new AquaCorp. NOTE: this server wasnt completely designed to be used on a large scale, and is more designed for a small community, which is why there are so many "random" features because I like to add them as I see them. The server plugins can be rough around the edges and think of this as more of a group SMP rather than a big nice professional server. The server has been running for around 2 years now and I want to keep it up for as long as possible to create an old and large urban area over time with history. Daily life can be hectic sometimes, but at the end of the day, this server's doors are always open for those who want to unwind and "just want to play some Minecraft". What is the C-SMP about?- 🌍 The SMP focuses heavily on building awesome communities, but with that comes a bit of realism as well. The difficulty is set to "semi-hardcore", a custom difficulty where dying has consequences, but is not permanent. - 💀 Every time you die you will be sent to Breaven (barren-heaven). Until your death-time is over after 6-hours, you can descend to the Overworld again. What you make of your time in Breaven is up to you. There are no game-changing plugins or commands available to not stray away from the classic vanilla-styled gameplay. - 🎤 The server also uses the Simple Voice Chat Mod for proximity chat. It adds the realistic vibe of hanging out in a community, by letting you talk to players by being around them. We currently feature Survival, Creative, Ultra Hardcore, and two custom minigames. More minigames will be added in the future. Survival Our semi-vanilla survival server features some small enhancements to promote cooperation between players. You can claim land to protect it from griefing and you can create shops to exchange items. Creative We have a Creative plotworld in which players can work on large projects with others. We also let players make use of the WorldEdit plugin to build more quickly. UHC (Ultra Hardcore) Ultra Hardcore is a game mode in which players have only 1 life and can only regenerate health with golden apples or potions. The border slowly closes in and players must PvP to be the last one standing. We schedule UHC events on our Discord server but the server is also open at all other times. Minigames We currently have two custom minigames, called Elytra Dogfights and Ledges. Elytra Dogfights is an aerial combat minigame making use of the elytra. Players will be equipped with bows, arrows, rockets, and swords to PvP in the air. Ledges is very loosely inspired by Super Smash Bros., here players deal knockback to send opponents off of the ledges. Each time you get hit, the knockback you take is increased. Sanctuary is a growing friendly vanilla java 1.18.2 smp with a focus on community and an emphasis on building and cooperation, we strive to foster an active and accepting home for the weary travelers and dedicated players alike. We here at sanctuary are an open smp with no whitelist offering useful plugins essentials, greifprotection, backpacks, and more For ease of use protection of your builds. We boast a few active communities accepting members for our faction / kingdom side, events and public build projects to join and explore, a player market district and economy, a lively map with unique lore and rpg elements, and a drive to help players enjoy the game the way they like. Our community is an accepting one so bigotry and hatred are not tolerated, if you join just trying to spread idiocy you will be met with a swift ban. The 1.18.2 Vanilla Server "Sanctuary" is lovingly hosted by the wonderful folks at Bisect Hosting at ip: 51.81.110.152:25565 World EST: 8/12/2020 We have been happily in 1.18.2 without major bugs for a few weeks now and everything is going smoothly, as always if you previously had Items, bases, or backpacks full of items they will remain and you will spawn in the same place you left off. I Purge all non active chunks in every update so that new content can spawn EVERYWHERE but no one looses their lovely builds, so you might notice some new biomes nearby and given the inherent retrogen there should be new caves below you as well. I built a small client side modpack to accompany the server that can be used on any vanilla client: Sanctuary Enhanced is a Performance enhancement, GUI personalization, and information display oriented client side pack designed for easy use on any vanilla server without giving the player the unfair advantages of using hack clients. At its base minecraft is missing alot of useful information I think should be available to players such as crafting recipes, enchantment and effect descriptions, and mob stats, so I've compiled a list of the mods I use for vanilla to make my life and teaching the game to new people a little easier. The main features of the pack include: -Minimap and world map display, time, and biome information. -Jei suite for all the information you could want about crafting recipes, enchantment descriptions, effect descriptions, villager trading, and world resource generation. -Ui mods that display tool durability, toggleable inventory display, mob health and breeding status, shulker viewer and crop growth. -Performance enhancement and profiling mods, world rendering and graphic setting customization. -Various texture packs and modifications and much much more. The pack runs entirely on the client side, just drop in optifine if appropriate and hit play. There should be no reason you can't use this on a vanilla server but please be respectful to the wishes of server owners since use of mods like minimap can give you an advantage over others in pvp and base hunting. As for any modpack I highly suggest you give java a solid 4-8 gigs of ram, if the version of the pack you're using is equipped with magnesium for dynamic lighting and performance enhancing use of optifine is no longer necessary at base but may be required for additional shades.
