About us We are a community that has been playing Minecraft together for just over 3 years at this point. We like to keep our server a friendly and welcoming place. Our staff is passionate about the game, dedicated to the community and will work hard to ensure we are around for years to come. We will have someone available to help you around the clock no matter how big or small your problem is and they will help you in a mature, professional manner.
We will not have another reset until either no one is still playing on the map or we are forced to because of another update that changes biomes. We strive for an experience as close to Vanilla Survival as Minecraft will allow in multi-player. All installed plugins serve an administrative purpose. No plugins have been installed in order to limit or enhance gameplay. We use Coreprotect and Prism for logging block and chest transactions, this will help guard you against unwanted theft and griefing. The average age on the server is around 21. We usually have about 40 members online at any given time but have peaked as high as 135. Our server runs a greylist so feel free to drop in and check us out. There is no pressure at all, spend as much time as you'd like looking around and chatting with the community. [1] No Verbal abuse or harassment. [2] Don't ask for special permissions or to be modded [3] Don't spawn kill new players. [4] NO Racism [5] NO cheating. This includes Xray. There will be no warning, you will be banned. [6] Do not grief a faction you're a member of. [7] Do not burn down forests. Keep the landscape pretty. [8] Alts are not allowed. They will be banned upon discovery. [9] Don't sell your faction supplies without consent of the Leader or majority. [10] No AFK fishing, and no using pools or anything to get around going AFK. [11] Don't let people kill you for the bounty. This will result in both of your balances reset. Description: Unlike most faction servers, Volitank does not give advanced kits or fancy donation ranks. Think of it more like a survival PVP server with Factions. Not an OP factions server You shall receive a set of stone tools upon joining. Use them wisely, as there are no kits on the server beyond what you get when you first join.
Voting for the server will grant you 2 diamonds. There are 3 places you can vote and they can be found on the website or by typing /vote in game. 20 total votes gives you the ability to set 2 homes and 2 playershop rows. 40 total give you 3 homes and 3 playershop rows. 70 4 homes 4 shop rows, 100 5 homes 5 shop rows, 120 6 homes 6 playershop rows and access to /workbench and /hat. The only game changing plugins currently are Factions, mcMMO, and CombatLog. Factions allows you to build or join a kingdom to better protect you or destroy your foes. mcMMO gives skill levels to reward players who are committed to Volitank. Deaths are also punished as you lose 5% of your skill levels upon death. Players can steal 10% of someones skills when they kill them. With CombatLog you are tagged for combat upon hitting or getting hit by another player. If you are tagged for combat and you log out you will instantly die. This is a very simple server and is driven by the community. If enough players feel a certain feature should be enacted then that is what happens. I believe this is the best way for server growth. Everyone the server plays in the same way: in survival. No one has creative, no one can spawn items in, no one can fly or any of that other stuff. Staff members are no different to other players besides the fact that they can stop bad people from doing bad stuff. We do have some plugins but are mostly administrative. We also have teleports such as /home, /tpa and /spawn. FroobWorld has a fairly small community. If you start playing on the server you will probably notice around 30 or so regulars that are off and on during the week. On the weekends is when we see the most activity and you're usually looking at having between 5 and 15 people on for most of the day. Many of the regulars have been playing on the server for two or three years, and most of the staff members have been on for anywhere between three and six years. We're actually a fairly old server. FroobWorld started in beta 1.8, so almost seven years now. In this time we've had around nine different maps, but the last two maps have lasted for around two and half years each. We start maps at 14,000 by 14,000 blocks and after one or two major updates we will expand the map in some direction, doubling the size. We then reset the map after another one or two major updates, so we keep any given map for around two years. We reset the map when 1.13 was released, so this map should be sticking around until late 2020 - early 2021 at the earliest. PvP isn't a big thing on the server. PvP is actually toggleable, i.e. you can turn it on and off for yourself, but people who want to fight need to agree to fight. Random player killing is against the rules. Greylist We have a greylist. It's really easy to get off of. You don't need to write an application, or sign up to the forums, or anything like that. You just need to read the rules and type a command, then wait for a staff member to let you off. If there's a staff member on when you apply, you will be accepted instantly, otherwise you will probably be off within a few hours depending on what the time is. Rules

Every member contributes to making the server a special place to be and we ensure that everyone has fun. We help each other in any way we can and we trust each other to be honest and fair. We strive to be as vanilla as possible on Ascending Embers, but we still have a few plugins. Core-protect is used to check for grief, and we use PermissionsEx and Essentials to provide the Greylist and /spawn. We also have Multiworld so that we can have a separate creative world (WIP) where we will sometimes organize events, as well as SinglePlayerSleep to allow a single player to skip the night if someone is afk.
