We rely on a greylist to ensure players know the rules and will not be destructive to the community before playing. The server was originally released on July 24th, 2018 to a group of players who played the previous season in order to tweak custom plugins and features to a level which is desired. On August 4th, 2018, the server was released to the public. We currently have an events server, with its current gamemode being Extra Hard Mode. This gamemode is a more realistic and difficult survival experience that is achieved by adding new mechanics into the game, such as adding physics to blocks that traditionally do not have physics. The server is constantly growing player-wise and progress-wise. Today evergreen vanilla is on its 2nd revision (The comeback :D) and we have around 10 players currently and are looking for more. Our historyEvergreen vanilla (The first server) started on April 4th, 2018 and had substantial growth in the coming weeks, our server was growing and it was fantastic, but as we soon would realize the interest was dwindling around August and the server was kind of halting in terms of progress on the server. In November the server was retired until January 12th, 2019. Now the server has been up for a week and we are back in full force! A new moderator has been added and alot of systems have been improved (back-end) and the application process has been more streamlined. In summaryEvergreen Vanilla's 1st season started April 4th 2018 and ended around November. Evergreen Vanilla's 2nd season started January 12th, 2019 and is ongoing. There is still tons of room for towns and nations to expand in the meantime. Who We Are Baneshroud has been a community since early Minecraft Beta. Across various updates and servers, our community is as strong as ever. You will never find more friendly players in Minecraft. We are an old server (about 8 years) where you rank up by being active and adding to our massive creative world! You start out as a default where you are confined to a small portion of the map until you can build a nice, beautiful home. Then you will be promoted to citizen where you can roam the entire map. There are optional job if you would want to be given specific kits in order to assist you in your building. These are optional!! We have two main worlds: Eros and Softeggland. Eros contains the small default area. Beyond this, is world is generally unexplored as it was recently added in the 1.11 update. Softeggland is our old world where the majority of the creations are. This world is available after you level up from default. Everything on this server was created with survival mode materials. No creative mode or world edit was used. It has taken our small staff thousands of hours to accomplish this. I have included just an inkling of pictures of some of the creations on our server below. Our staff is extremely small and we are looking to expand by a few members who are active frequently and are friendly to all. The general rules are: no griefing or toxic behavior! It's a towny server with softcore rpg elements and a major twist. This is modded with optifine but we didn't feel it was appropriate to tag it as a modded server. What is Runecraft?Runecraft is a minecraft server which is known for it's gamemode "Darkworlds survival" or simply darkworlds. This website and guide assumes you know how vanilla minecraft functions. If you don't know how minecraft functions you should check out a wiki. Runecraft is the original creator of the darkworlds gamemode. Runecraft is a pre-modern, medieval style (towny) nation building survival server with a softcore rpg element which ensures that players do not build ugly things which are out of place such as pixel art. It consists of multiple dimensions, the main ones being The Light World, and The Dark World. Light WorldThe light world is the world where the sun rises and sets, but materials like ores, coal and obsidian, sand, can not be mined. If you try to mine them, they will break but not drop an item. Monsters and animals also do not drop any loot or exp when killed. Nature must be preserved here, buildings must be very well crafted, and other resource collecting which changes the natural landscape is prohibited. You may protect your blocks and items in the lightworld with the towny town system. You may create a town/settlement or join one. PvP is global on the light world, so do not let your guard down. You may create pvp free zones using towny. More info on towny in the guide section. Dark WorldThe dark world is the place where it is always night. You can access the dark world via various dark world portals from the light world. The monsters here are abundant and more dangerous. You may mine ores here in this dangerous dimension, and monsters will drop items and exp.The dark world is reset every month (will be every week with more players). This is a softcore RPG style server, which means we try to create realism in our fantasy world. For example, if one were to fly there would have to be a reason such as a broomstick or a magic potion. Although things such as explosions and fire are ALLOWED in the dark world, it is prohibited to intentionally slow down the server by any means or to blow up/burn things wildly for no reason. Setting fire to a whole forest for fun or exploding TNT for no reason just to create lag will result in a ban Roleplay rules
