We already have a lovely small community and we would like to expand it further with the addition of new mostly mature, community-driven, social, and kind players! We take hacking, cheating, etc. very seriously, and we have an administration system set up in a way that in its entirety we work as a democracy, but there is still a council that makes the decisions regarding the more technical and difficult stuff. Other than multiplayer sleep and another few other select data packs and plugins, we play on a solely vanilla world. We have a shopping district and a games district at Spawn. Currently the plan is to start season 0 around when the first part of the update is released, which is currently planned to release on June 8th. Server is semi-vanilla which does not add anything non vanilla like expect, a few quality of life datapacks and plugins, for example 1 player sleep, fast leaf decay and more. The world has been divided into different districts. Anyone can build in any of the districts as long as they are built in the correct theme. | Stonehaven Survival++ [SMP]{Semi-vanilla}{whitelist}{18+} {1.16.5} Posted: 01 Jun 2021 03:22 PM PDT Stonehaven Survival++ {JAVA} Stonehaven SMP aims to improve the 'vanilla' experience of exploring, fighting, RPG progression, and grinding to give a more everlasting and unique experience of playing Minecraft. Many of us have played numerous servers that have the same vanilla "hermitcraft-like" SMP experience and I'm sure the community is quite acquainted with it. We have all experienced joining a server and forming a community in defeating the ender dragon. But afterwards, it slowly dwindles down until the only three kinds of players that play are the builders with vast aspirations, the redstoners that maximize their farms to fill the economy, and veterans who stay for nostalgia. Once the economies are filled and all items become worth a single diamond the server loses incentive and is typically abandoned or needing a refresh. My goal in creating this server is to mend a multitude of these problems without breaking the core of Minecraft. This server offers a variety of new progressive concepts such as new randomly generated structures and dungeons, high tier loot with rarities(like in destiny or borderlands), a new health systems that allows you to gain more hearts, and so much more. Many may say the changes I've made to survival destroy the simplicity of Minecraft and could consider this a different game and I understand those regards, but my intentions are to create a greater vanilla experience without having others do any work besides join and play. Past this unique concept however, I want to foster a mature community of friendly adults who just want to play Minecraft. The experience of exploring together, building together, fighting together, and having fun together. My goal in creating this server is to be able to create memories for people to remember back on and feel fond for. Release Date: With the recent announcement of 1.17 being due to release on June 8th. It operates with minimal admin intervention, and we only ask that you don't threaten the stability of the server (no intentionally causing lag/crashes) and don't do anything actually illegal. * We have a few utility plugins that let you see server stats - they don't alter gameplay in any way. Check the website for some commands Why 2? Well, unfortunately, about half a year ago the original melonhell suffered a hardware failure that essentially killed the server. While we had a full backup of the server, we didn't have the hardware and were unable to get replacements. But now that we're reviving melonhell, we had to decide whether to use the same map or start afresh - and we decided, given we're a small server and that it's been 6 months since then, to start a new map.

What I'm looking for are friends who enjoy Minecraft who would be interested in the following:- Help build the map (Creative Mode Building)- Test the map once it reaches a testable phase- Provide input and suggestions for puzzles, bosses, dungeons, and more- Help with resource packs for things like hats/helmets, mob skins, and blocks- Coding assistance (I got this covered as I'm studying Java in Uni and can take care of this, but the more the merrier)- Just hang out in VC on Discord and keep me and the others working company! As you can see, there's plenty for you to do regardless of your skill level when it comes to this project.
