Veteran owned and operated since 2011 with a fun community of players. The server recently updated to 1.13(.2) so its a fairly new map with room to build! There are minimal add-ons that impact game play; container lock, bank, and flight. What we have to offer:
The server recently (october) updated to 1.13(.2) so the map is still fresh with room for building! Homes are removed after 3 months of inactivity to keep the map clean. A small, friendly community playing Vanilla Minecraft in 1.13 (with a few tweaks)! After launching several months ago we have built a strong, but small community and we wish to expand this and get some new names onto the server. There is still plenty of space at spawn town for people to build their homes. So you don't need to worry about coming into a cramped spawn area! We are hoping to get a good number of fairly active players to compliment our core group currently. Timber Town is a fairly relaxed server and we want to foster that nice atmosphere. I have decided to start up a server in preperation for minecraft 1.14, as that is not out yet the server will be running on the latest full release of minecraft (1.13.2) The server cannot be hosted on a snapshot as it is too unstable. The plan for this server is to create a community-based SMP similar to servers such as the Mindcrack / Hermitcraft server. We are therefore looking for players who can further evolve our server and community, and allow us to create an awesome server with amazing players. I am looking to whitelist between 20-30 players who are willing to express their creativity and knowledge with each other. This server is not a free-for-all PVP server, but a vanilla server where we help each other out and all have a good time.We do not have any plugins currently and do not plan on. The nether hub is another big project which the design / theme should be discussed as a server. Some of these projects can be done collectively or individually if someone wishes to do a project on their own please let everyone else of the server know and allow people to use if it is a server project. Our economy is based upon Iron Coins, Gold Coins and an intriguing Voucher system. ChallengesOur unique challenge system is continually active on the server, players can join the current challenge at any time! Each challenge is comprised of several objectives that must completed to finish the challenge.
StatisticsEach player can view a custom menu that displays their progress on the server. You can like other players and add a custom description in your menu. A recent addition, and an enhancement from VE to VE II is the Player Analytics system. Each player can be given access to detailed metrics about their play time, statistics, claims, homes and cosmetic packages that they have acquired. LeaderboardsCompete with the most highly skilled and dedicated players on the server for the top three places on the leader boards at spawn! Players can use the statistics system mentioned previously to view the details. Player ShopsA world filled with community built shops with endless trades and goods! AccessibilityMuch can be said for doing everything the hard way, a truly unaltered experience. But after having covered all the aspects, from just establishing yourself, to clearing the End, at some point your time becomes precious and you just want to dive in. Love to build? Well now it's easier to share your creations, because players can request to teleport to you, and you can deny or accept. So no more spam from players asking if staff can port you around, and no need to spend hours just navigating from point to point, just to share your playing experience. A new addition the accessibility component is ease of access to locations in the Overworld, Nether and the End. You won't go straight to the major points of interest, but you will have an easier way of getting there, just interact with Special NPCS at the Hub or Spawn Outposts of each of the major worlds! However, it's still up to you to Survive! Latest AdditionsChallenge Scoreboard We are transitioning from using a separate tab for the Challenge System messages to use a custom scoreboard displayed on the right side of each player's screen. This scoreboard can be toggled on/off using the command /liteboard toggle. This system can leverage a custom resource pack made just for the server that features a set of emoji that are used in place of text for each objective. If a player opts out of using the resource pack, then text will be shown in place of the emoji. Keep in mind, however, that doing so will result in a much wider scoreboard! Tab Channels for compartmentalizing chat into different 'tabs' has been added! This lets messages from our in game systems, mostly administrative, go into a separate channels so that communication with everyone else is not flooded with unrelated messages! In many instances, when the player receives a tip or feedback containing a command that can be issued via chat - For example, /home - the player can just click on command name contained in chat and the command will be executed. In the above example, the player would be teleported to their default home, if one has been created. ...and all of the standard conveniences Public Mob Spawners Three new public mob spawners are now available! A Drowned Farm and two Skeleton Farms. The skeleton farms drop three different custom items, instead of the usual drops, these can be traded to a nearby npc for Special Bows. Quests We now feature quests to help new players get oriented to many of the server's mechanics and features! Just interact with Biskotaki at the spawn to get started! Rules

Begun in early 2018, the server is hosted in Canada. We have recently entered into 1.13.2, and we wish to invite others to join our growing community.
