    Honestly, it's a pain that if you build one or they naturally spawn there's only so many fights they should get into before they inevitably die, which is a pain due to cost and rarity. Maybe you can feed them iron ingots or something? Or they just really slowly regenerate naturally? It's just a pain, honestly, to find one of these things or make one and it just dies after a few in-game days anyway.

    Enough Horsing Around, Time For Some REAL Mounted Combat!

    Mounted combat in Minecraft is clunky and basically impossible, but it can be fixed with a minor change and a major addition!

    First suggestion is changing how the horse controls while aiming a bow, my suggestion is that when aiming with a bow the horse controls more like a boat, allowing for much greater precision and movement during horseback archery.

    Second suggestion is a halberd, a new weapon suggestion, which I know generally get ignored, but hear me out.

    The Halberd on your feet attacks similar to a wooden axe, but even slower, its not meant to be used there.

    When on horseback though, it will deal damage when you ram into stuff on your horse, and can also be swung to less effective results.

    EDIT:

    If you ram into a horse with someone on it, it deals damage to both.

    The halberd is a single weapon like the trident and deals 9 damage, like the other axes, it can be enchanted with Sharpness and possibly other sword enchantments, although concerns of it being overpowered could be made.

    It deals knock-back based on horse speed

    and if you're wondering why a halberd and not a lance or something, because a lance is to similar to a sword.

    Option to chose in which bed to respawn after dying (different coloured beds)

    I think it should be possible to chose in which bed to respawn after dying, just a simple GUI after clicking respawn with the different options / colours and when you click on one of them you respawn at that bed.

    This would add another aspect than just to look good to coloured beds.

    Allow F3 key to be rebound

    Right-clicking a crop with a hoe should replace the crop with a seed from your inventory for 1 durability.

    Title. Some other things that would be relevant:

    • The seed would be the same as the harvested crop, provided its in your inventory. If not, either a different seed would be used or it would not plant anything (not sure which would be better). Either way, 1 durability is used.
    • If you have a seed in your off-hand, that is planted.
    • This would obviously not apply to pumpkins and melons, though I would like if they could be harvested with a hoe right-click, so as to not accidentally break the seed. A replacement seed could not be planted with these, as they turn anything they grow on into soil.
    • This would give a better incentive to carry a hoe on you, and would make farming less of a task. As a knock-on effect of this, you would want to craft a better, more durable hoe so it would break less often.

    So, downsides. This would give the diamond hoe a use, which nobody wants, but I think it's worth it. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

    New Desert Temple Designs, Rope Ladders, Dune Hikers, & more! (Pictures!)

    NOTE: Please don't vote based on my builds/designs/textures, just vote on the concepts!

    Ah, deserts. Don't get me wrong, temples are fun to find, but they just need a bit of fixing.

    TIP: Most of the information about each thing will be in the image captions.

    Village Temples (Images)

    Desert villages now have a chance to spawn with a temple!

    Here are all of the new temple designs I've created. Take a look! Remember that these are obviously not the designs the devs would use. They're just some quick little builds showing diversity throughout the desert.

    I would assume different temple designs all have equal chances of spawning.

    You may have noticed that floating ladder in the first temple (which is just a few ladders on some barriers), and it reminded me of my post about how ladders shouldn't need supporting blocks which got 130+ upvotes. What if we had a useful/aesthetically pleasing ladder-ish block? We'll talk about that further down in the post.. ;-)

    Aired Temples

    There is one design which I wasn't sure about, but here are the "Aired Temples." They do not have walls and typically are next to rivers/lakes/water

    Desert Huts (Cave Dwellings)

    There was also one temple that didn't make the cut because it isn't a temple. Maybe it could be a new desert structure called the "Desert Hut", a little place carved into the sides of desert hills.

    Rope Ladders!

    Boom! One click and you've got a ladder unraveling in front of your eyes.

    Dune Hikers - Increase Your Sand Movement

    Recipe: Two smooth sandstone blocks with one space in between, iron ingots below those blocks, one feather between the ingots

    I know, I'm shoving a bunch of information into your heads right now, but let me tell you about one last item. They aren't extremely necessary, but I could see them being useful. In fact, it's an armor piece! Read about it in the image captions.

    Pressure Plates on Ceilings

    Speed potions shorten consumption time

    Speed potions should shorten consumption time for foods and potions, giving it an even more beneficial factor in fights, among other thing, being able to squeeze healing potions in quicker could make a big difference.

    How To Use 3 Unused mobs!

    1. Zombie Horses
      They would spawn in zombie village animal pens and be tamable and rideable and sink in water (basically a retextures skelton horse) (also this is someone else's idea I forgot there name)
    2. Illusioner
      A lot of people are saying "add this into raids" but what if there was a rare version of a patrol. This "mega" patrol will consist of 5-9 mobs which are Illusioners, Witches, Vindicators, Pillagers (and a rare chance of an evoker) also llusioner will now shoot and drop spectral arrows and will also drop emeralds, spectral arrows, thier bow and glowstone dust. (some other people's ideas combined with mine)
    3. Killer Bunny
      Now this mob is purley my idea ok so the killer bunny would spawn uncommenly at night in taigas and snowy areas they would literally be the same as they are now but bigger, faster and can jump 2 blocks high! also they are scared of foxes (and foxes would hunt them down)

    Oranges - A fruit for many meals and the parrots will love them

    - the oranges can be obtained from "oranges tree" which can slightly different to the oaks (different in appearance ,the leaves would have a different appearance and the wood would still be the same)

    - are found in the forest biome and in the jungle

    - when you break oranges tree leaves, chances of them falling oranges (only 1 orange can come out of a leaf)

    - When you break the leaves, there is a chance that saplings will fall from the oranges tree, and you will be able to create another oranges tree.

    USES

    To consume

    - by obtaining the oranges, by placing it on the crafting table (or in the space for craft in the player's inventory) you will be able to obtain four slices of oranges

    - The orange slices are eaten 1 by 1, and each one recovers you half a point of hunger, and the 4 would recover you 2 points full of hunger (like an apple)

    - Adding an oranges with an empty bottle, you can make oranges juice, you can take it 3 times and you recover 1/2 point of hunger every sip.

    - You can also add sugar to each orange slices (1 sugar + 1 orange slice = 1 orange slice with sugar) , You recover one whole hunger point for each sugary slice (the sugary orange slices would be an extra.)

    - you can create an orange pie (it is the same recipe as the pumpkin pie but replacing the pumpkin with an orange), when you eat it you will recover 3 complete points of hunger.

    - (maybe you can also create a cake and oranges cookies,But I don't know what the recipe would be like.)

    - You can't eat a whole orange (You're not gonna eat the shell) , just in slices.

    - and you can also create a golden orange slices (the recipe is the same as the golden carrot but replacing the carrot with a slice of orange and would be created with 4 gold nuggets instead of 8), the slice would recover you 2 whole hunger points

    for taming parrots

    - the parrot can be tame with a whole orange or in slices

    - by throwing an orange on the floor, parrots can eat it or take it somewhere else and eat it. (you can take the orange out of the parrot by right-clicking on it.)

    Horses, donkeys, and mules should be able to go in boats.

    ever wanted to take your Horse, donkey, and mule on the water? This really should already been added in the game. Since that polar bears whom are bigger than Horses, donkeys, and mules are able to go in boats, so it would make sense if Horses, donkeys, and mules can go in boats too.

    Captured golems should go back to villages when released

    One thing I've noticed it that iron golems can sometimes be found within cages at the pillager outposts. When released though they kinda just sit there.

    I'm thinking perhaps that these golems could maybe spawns with a specific tag or something that causes them to seek out the nearest village.

    Adding taverns to villages

    I think adding taverns into villages would be make the villages more realistic and interesting. Taverns would be used as a trading post with villagers and act as a market where you can buy items. For example villagers will walk into the tavern at night time and sometimes during that day. while there the villagers would hang out and possibly trade the items they collected from their jobs for emeralds. The player can either hang out at the tavern, trade items with villagers, or buy potions from a villager that would act as the tavern keeper. Sometimes wandering traders could be found in taverns. I know this may have been suggested but I think adding taverns would be a fun addition to the new updated villages. Let me know what you guys think?

    Add chocolate bars

    Chocolate bars will function like cake but you won't need to place it down. Each bar can be used 8 times, restore 1 hunger point for each use and will have a durability bar to show how many pieces are left. They can be crafted using milk, sugar and cocoa beans.

    Inventory sorting

    We need a button in the inventory that sorts like items into stacks. There is a mod that does it well on Java, and it would be helpful to sort items without doing it manually, especially on mobile. It seem like it would be a simple addition, and it could sort the inventory you're holding as well as items in chests.

    New village types

     CAVE(prehistoric) VILLAGE 

    I personally love this idea. There aren't really a lot things underground, so why not a village? Villagers would have a new outfit-an orange old prehistoric shirt. There are special prehistoric houses and a fun little detail.

     JUNGLE VILLAGE 

    We already have jungle skins so the skins stay the sane. There are only small and big tree houses. Maybe lakes with small fishing boats and bridges.

     TOWNS WITH CASTLES 

    A massive and very rare village. A big city and a castle on the hill. In the town there are markets, wandering traders, iron golems wondering around and new houses! The butcher, the storage and the CASTLE. The castle is on a hill in the center of the town. There are many rooms, golems and a jail for illagers. There is a king with a special golden texture.

     PIRATE VILLAGES 

    Villages with ships and submarines. Connected with bridges with fences. Villagers with an eye patch and wet clothes.

    Add a feature to Grindstones where you can “sharpen” a weapon/tool, increasing its efficacy for a fixed number of uses at the cost of some of its durability.

    For example, you could sacrifice 30 durability on an Iron axe to increase damage and wood-cutting speed and reduce durability costs per use for the next 30 uses (or more). Thoughts?
