We are a hermitcraft style server where there are rules but some small modifications to vanilla gameplay that are such as 1 player sleep, elytra on ender dragon death etc. These are achieved with command blocks. We're a couple of minecraft friends that after playing in many other servers have decided to run our own and we're looking for some players to join us. The server is completely new, we haven't started playing yet, so there's still everything to be done, as you would be the first players to join. The server is, as stated in the title, vanilla, although we'll probably add a couple of plugins, like one-person sleep, but none that change the core experience and basic behaviour of the game. It's somewhat inspired by the popular youtube series Hermitcraft so any rules in that server also apply in ours. We expect a certain level of maturity. Things like no griefing, no stealing, no pvp unless agreed upon, and of course no to any kind of toxic behavior. Certain players have gotten access to admin commands such as /stop the server randomly, or /summon and set the entire surface of the world on fire, and gain godmode and /kill. We have banned these players, but a lot of them came to the subreddit and got our ad removed by saying it wasn't anarchy since they were banned. The servers world has been reset, and I am busy trying to set everything back to normal but this time with some basic anticheat and security plugins. Thanks for reading. SocietyMC is a Semi-Vanilla, RP, and Survival server on a smallish world, where you might seek safety from the large scale chaos by hiding away, or try and conquer the entire world, and form a large empire, reigning terror on the world. You decide what player you will be, and you have the chance to live the way you desire. The server is 100% player based, and the lore, culture, and play-style is formed by you. This also means that mobs are SEMI-Disabled, only spawning through spawners, the end, and nether. You may form your own city or society, join one, conquer, or destroy them. The possibilities are completely up to you! But watch out, players will be after you and might kill you if you are not paying attention, and you might not want to trust everyone you meet, so always watch your surroundings. Also thirst will kill you JS. Don't be afraid to bring your own play-style to the world, and be yourself, you might just become a legend. This server is not for everyone, and I get that, but if this strikes a cord with you, don't be afraid to come and try the server out, you won't be disappointed. Minecraft is one of my favorite games - it has consistently held my interest over the years which only two other games have managed to do. I've been on plenty of servers, run a few, staffed others, but now I'm looking for a specific sort of community to join in and have some fun with this special game. I am not a native English speaker but I type English passably well if that's a requirement for your server. I have Discord. Despite some of my more unsocial tendencies I like to think I'm chatty, funny, and helpful - people tend to enjoy my company and I can have long conversations. I tolerate direct contact for short periods of time on my terms but I don't like to have people in my space for overlong, if that makes sense. I understand that's a problem for some people - I take precautions to limit the amount of problems I have with other players being too close. What I would like is... an ! by an entry indicates that it's a big thing that I will weigh heavily in my considerations or that I really like and won't do without. Things without ! I can live without for the right server.
So... that's all I can think of, haha. Feel free to tell me about your servers and I'll make sure to come check them all out for at least an hour... but please be specific in your replies so I know what I'm looking at, like if you have a worldborder please state how big it is, if you don't have Grief Prevention tell me what you do have, etc. Sorry to be a nitpicker, just like to make sure I know what I'm getting into.
