Simplecraft was created to be the kind of server that truly embodied the real vanilla experience while keeping some of the small perks that one would expect to have in a multiplayer setting. Simplecraft uses Bukkit combined with only the most non-invasive plugins to help protect you from hackers and griefers. You can rest easy knowing that Simplecraft does not and will not ever support unnecessary, flashy, or game changing plugins. Why Choose Simplecraft Over Other Survival Servers? Most other vanilla/survival servers are either whitelisted or are actually plugin-filled bukkit servers. Whitelisted servers can be tedious and require you to fill out an application and then wait for approval. And the problem with most bukkit 'vanilla' servers is that, while the owner may have had the intention of creating a vanilla feel, they end up getting carried away with too many plugins, eventually becoming it's just another bukkit server. Although Simplecraft is a bukkit server, it only uses a few simple plugins to the sake of moderation and anti-grief protection. These plugins allow the server to be open without the need for a whitelist. Everyone Helps Keep The Server Looking Nice: Although griefing is against the rules, it is encouraged that players help clean up broken down, or abandoned buildings. You can do this by removing the offending structure and returning the ground to it's natural landscape. If the job is too big or you need administrative help, send us an e-mail with the coordinates and a small description of the problem and we will be happy to help. Replant and respawn! Please try to replant trees as well as let some of your livestock back into the wild from time to time so there are always enough resources for new players. The server is located in the EU, although ping is manageable according to Americans playing on the server. We have a close community of about 30 active players with 80 whitelisted. We are about 20% Dutch and 80% English, although most Dutch people speak English without any problem. If the server were to stop, we will provide support and a map download so that you can keep playing on your own. XBox players will need to download Phantom to join the server (we'll help you if needed). Must be on Discord. Rules: Town Center is -233,72,119. No builds within a 1000 block radius of this point. Unapproved builds in this zone will be razed. 1. You're entitled to 1 free plot in town; your plot extends to bedrock. Unused claimed plots may be seized and given to new players. 2. Limit use of redstone in town. 3. Free building is allowed outside of the town zone. 4. Repair creeper damage. No floating trees. 5. No griefing, stealing, or trespassing on private builds. 6. No duping, cheating, or client-side hacks. 7. Only consensual PvP. 8. A mic may be required to verify age. 9. The first dragon and wither fights will be events organized by mods. Until the first dragon fight the End is closed. Let the mods know first before spawning a Wither. Kill chambers are ok. You must kill any Wither that you spawn.
