So we started talking about how cool it would be to start a Vanilla Server that is run like the famous HermitCraft. Well talk turned into action and and I got a host and set up a Whitelisted Vanilla Survival server. The server was running without issue until one player decided to start stealing. Vanilla has no protections so I was forced to install Spigot so I could run CoreProtect. As far as players are concerned its still a Vanilla server, they have One Player Sleep and that's it. No fancy commands, no locked chests, no protected land claims..its Vanilla with Adminstrative protections. No perks or special abilities. A very true Vanilla Survival experience really. Community Cooperation is highly encouraged! This server is run on Trust, Honesty, Integrity, and Community Cooperation (but with the needed backup of protection in case of emergency) The server was opened about a month and a half ago and still plenty of projects to do! A few XP Grinders have been build in the few weeks but the map is pretty virgin. Not much exploration at all has been done. It is a challenge, not the greatest seed, but we did not start a server to be pampered, we welcome the challenge! Much of the server content focuses around Greek Mythology, including the currency, death messages, and regions that display messages from gods. The gameplay is set to Hard Mode, which means that mobs will be stronger and the staff will not help any players with in-game matters such as food items or building blocks. If you get bored, the staff has created a variety of dungeons that serve as "easter eggs." It is up to you (and your friends) to find an entrance, complete the challenges, and purchase the reward. The server itself is hosted in Canada, but most of us are from the United States. In order to gain access to the world, each player must use the command /rules, which displays the in-game rules and automatically sets your rank to Citizen. We use LWC to help players protect their items and homes. Griefing is legal as long as the structure has been abandoned for at least 3 months. | [Wanted][Modded] Looking for very small modded (or vanilla) server for a Let's Play! Posted: 15 May 2019 04:57 PM PDT My friends and I have tried several times on different computers to create and run a server, whether vanilla or modded but we can't seem to ever get it working at all. In the past I had just given up and bought a realm, but these days I'm too broke for that (plus Realms doesn't support mods), and still can't quite wrap my head around server running. But my friends and I run a YouTube channel and have wanted to start a modded Let's Play of sorts in the fashion of Yogscast etc. The thing is, we don't want to play on a big public server. Those never really feel the same, and usually have too many restrictions. My friends and I would love to join one of your servers, if you have a modded server with a couple people or perhaps if you know how to run a server but have nobody to play with. We're technically down for pretty much any mod or modpack, but when we were trying to run our own server we were aiming for either Sevtech: Ages or Texxit. Something along those lines would work too. Server Rules
Europa Sandbox is a brand new community which combines a realistic survival experience with the new features of minecraft 1.14. The server is semi-vanilla, with just a few core plugins added to improve the experience, plugins and features are only added when necessary, to make the server more enjoyable and interesting, protection is available, but very limited, and while it may protect your most valuable items, it wont stop mobs or enemies from coming after you. Farming is more realistic, with growth rates set very low by default, you will need to prioritize food collection if you are to survive here, mobs are plentiful, and must be kept at bay with an effective defense. Players can build near the spawns, or venture out into the world to find a good spot, you can build alone, or join with friends/other players to build communities, since teleportation is limited and only helps you get to spawn and back, players will need to create their own forms of transport between settlements and bases, in order to trade items and food. Europa Sandbox has been prepared to be a challenging, but rewarding experience, where players can play how they want, with who they want. | NS Network [SMP] {Survival} {1.13.2} Posted: 15 May 2019 11:09 AM PDT NS Network Survival 1.13.2 CA / West Coast - New server! - Land claiming - Disable PVP in claimed land - Economy - Discord - Community driven - Mature staff - MCmmo - Silktouch Spawners NS Network has been created by staff that have experience working with Minecraft servers since 2012. This server is Enhanced Survival, with plugins that attribute greatly. Anywhere (except the current spawn/shops ) can be built on, and claimed. Want to show off your building skills right outside of spawn? Use /claim to protect it! Need to get away? /rtp (random teleport) can help you out there. PVP is enabled everywhere - except for /claim(ed) land. Need help? Our staff are very experienced, and will gladly assist you. Our goal is to grow a good-hearted community, and we need your help to grow! ~~~ Rules [1] PVP is enabled outside of claimed land! [2] No unnecessary profanity [3] No X-Ray mods/texture packs [4] No hacked clients/cheats [5] No lag-inducing redstone [6] Help out new players! (Not so much a rule, but it'd be a kind thing to do) A brand-new spawn is in the works - along side a revamped shop. Don't worry, almost every item sell price will stay the same as it currently is.
