I'm DH75 the owner and would like to recruit experienced Minecraft players to a new community I hope to help thrive. As mentioned in the title of this post, this server is brand new as of June 4th, 2019. That means this server is a fresh 1.14.2 Minecraft world and starting a brand new community. My goals with this new server is help build a close knit community like we used to see back in the good days of Minecraft with servers like Mindcrack and Hermitcraft (which are obviously still going to this day). I also want to promote server builds like nether hubs, an attractive spawn, farms, etc. I'm aiming for this server to have a good 15-20~ people. This isn't some 200+ player server, that's too hectic for me. I'm open to suggestions and feedback, always feel free to message me both before and after you're accepted into the server. Other information about me as a Minecraft player and new server owner. I've been playing Minecraft since beta 1.7 when pistons came out and have done it all in terms of community servers, survival worlds, YouTube videos, you name it. I was also part of a close knit community back in the day called the Vortex Server which ran for several years and is what I hope to embody with this server. I'm 22 years old and love to build anything from community builds, farms, and home bases. UPDATE This is the 2nd post I'm making in regards to this server. The first post on this subreddit got a massive response and we gather some great members to the server. We are sitting on around 20 active players, with ~10 other semi-active members. I decided to post a second time to gather some more die hard vanilla SMP players. The server is obviously almost 2 weeks old, but we still have a whole lot to do. Once you're accepted, we can get you up to speed, but there are many community projects that can be picked up as well as collaborating with other members. Other Server Information: The server will be running on 1.14.2 and will update in according to Minecraft update releases. The server's seed will be public so everyone can go to their desired locations. I won't spoil the seed here or on the discord unless it's requested by one of you. The seed contains a spawn in a plains biome so that an attractive spawn is easy to create. I also picked the seed to be generally close to all the other biomes so we're not going 10k blocks to the only mesa. The server is hosted on Meloncube and is a 5gb server. Server Rules: The obvious rules are in place like no griefing, stealing, and unnecessary mischief that has no place in a 18+ server. I hope the 18+ requirement stops these kind of things from happening. If anyone has questions as to what's frowned upon do not hesitate to message me. Also, please don't apply if you're not 18+. I understand there are mature <18 year old players out there, but I do not want to take the risk after my experience with past servers I've been on. To keep it as pure, vanilla anarchy as possible, there are no home commands, spawn protection, or TP commands. There will be as few bans as possible, with lag machines and duping being perfectly acceptable. Backdoors and 32k weapons may be banned in the future but this is only to keep the server up and the players safe (players also won't be banned for doing said things). I then decided EVERYONE should be able to join in on me and my team's work. We decided on Towny for the community aspect and picked some of these features for that same reason: Jobs: With a limited Admin shop your main income will be from jobs. As you level your jobs up you will get more money and unlock perks with them. Rankup: With 9 rankups to help you get access to unique commands and free crates/cosmetic boxes you will find the rankup system a great way to access things as a free player you would not be able to otherwise. McMMO: Well known plugin that will add skill leveling inside minecraft. Auctions: Allows you to sell items to other players without being online or the need for a physical shop. Custom GUI menu's Crates Custom items Custom Enchants Awesome Cosmetic based items And so much more aswell as more being added daily! Community: To Elorzen the community is everything, without the community we are not a server. We make every decision with the community in mind and we try to respond to EVERY idea put forth by the community or a member of the community.
