- Instead of treating Bad Omen, Hero of the Village, and Dolphin's Grace as status effects, treat them as attributes.
- Iron golems should have different eyes when they're made with a jack-o-lantern.
- Fleshing Out Dungeons
- You can heal Skeleton horses with Bone-related items
- Apple and berry pies!
- An advancement for defeating an Ocean Monument
- Reintroduction of Giants.
- You should be able to put multiple flowers & mushrooms on the same block

- Slime Chunk Identifier
- If you jump up into a slime block it bounces you down.
- Leather armour is boring...
- Add the Fire Pits from Minecraft: Dungeons to the main game
- An enchanted book for non-ranged weapons that grants the player more xp per kill.
- Powering shulker boxes with redstone opens them

- Not really a suggestion but, I’m rather bored and want to make a Minecraft addon for bedrock anyone got any ideas for a new mob.
- More obsidian blocktypes?
- While crafting, pressing the "offhand" key while hovering over the crafted item should move it to the offhand
- Snowflakes should be more elegant
- Remove eating while swimming.

- Mixed wood types and wool types for blocks
There is a rare chance for a signed book called a “Captain’s Log” to be found in shipwrecks. Posted: 09 Jul 2019 05:38 AM PDT The log could contain a random story from the original captain of the now sunken ship and could give hints onto the contents of his buried treasure to provide an incentive to look for it. Posted: 09 Jul 2019 12:31 PM PDT If you want to get rid of Bad Omen, AKA a Pillager raid, all you need to do is...drink a bucket of milk...? That makes no sense! If the villagers are offering you discounts, drinking a bucket of milk will revert things to normal. Huh? And how a Dolphin gives you a status effect? Treating these status effects as attributes (like insomnia) would alleviate these problems. It would also make things feel more natural. I still think there should be some indication that you have Bad Omen or Hero of the Village. Maybe an icon should pop up in the corner, or some text should appear above your hotbar that says, "You are struck with a Bad Omen!" or "You are the hero of the village!" Just an idea. Other related changes: - Beacons and Conduits should not give off potion particles. It's annoying to have a cloud of particles around me when using these helpful items. - Turtle shells, instead of giving Water Breathing when worn, should just act like they have Respiration III enchanted on it(without the enchantment glint of course). Iron golems should have different eyes when they're made with a jack-o-lantern. Posted: 09 Jul 2019 07:33 AM PDT It would be cool if the iron golems created with a jack-o-lantern would have glowing eyes and can see further at night. If they're hit by snowballs or submerged underwater tho, the glowing eyes disappear. If you hit one and the golems turn hostile on you the eyes would turn slightly reddish. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 09 Jul 2019 08:21 AM PDT Dungeons were one of the first generated structures added to minecraft and haven't been changed since. To improve on the dungeon, it should have several rooms instead of one. There should be about 10-20 that can be generated, with a total of 4-8 rooms generated per dungeon. To keep it from getting stale, two different types of dungeons should be implemented; the gauntlet and the hub. The hub is a bunch of rooms branching off from one room, while the gauntlet is a linear set of rooms. A few sample rooms: [link] [comments] |
You can heal Skeleton horses with Bone-related items Posted: 09 Jul 2019 03:11 AM PDT Title, you can now feed Skeleton horses wit buckets of milk, bone blocks, bones, etc etc... You can breed them with bone blocks, and you can help the baby skelly horses grow with bonemeal too. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 09 Jul 2019 05:11 AM PDT Title. will be made like pumpkin pie, but with apples/berries [link] [comments] |
An advancement for defeating an Ocean Monument Posted: 09 Jul 2019 11:51 AM PDT When you collect all the gold blocks and kill the elder guardians you get the advancement "Defeated Monument" [link] [comments] |
Posted: 09 Jul 2019 03:47 AM PDT Giants were probably my favorite mob back then despite them doing practically nothing, so here are just a few small ideas that could be cool if implemented -
They could be a cool addition for a Zombie Siege - since raids, Zombie attacks have been cast out into the dark and haven't gotten much attention. Perhaps making them a very rare extreme hills occurence would work, with large naturally generated structures like huge hay bales or bones indicating their presence nearby. [link] [comments] |
You should be able to put multiple flowers & mushrooms on the same block Posted: 09 Jul 2019 10:11 AM PDT Flowers and mushrooms should work like turtle eggs & sea pickles, and you should be able to put multiple ones on the same block. This way you can make better flower beds, if you can put 4 flowers on the same block. It would also improve the world generation, and make flower forests and mushroom forests look better. Ice should make dripping particles when too close to a light source Posted: 09 Jul 2019 03:12 PM PDT Just like a wet sponge. A pretty self-explanatory suggestion, ice makes dripping particles when it's about to melt. This would be a helpful indicator for if you want to light up a place without accidentally melting your ice. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 09 Jul 2019 01:42 PM PDT I've paged through the sub and seen some complex suggestions for locating a slime chunk without having to utilize a tool outside of the game. I feel a simple solution is staring us in the face and has been for a while. I propose a simple update to the generation of terrain that places slime blocks in a fashion similar to ores into the chunks that register as able to spawn slimes. Blocks would spawn at y = 40 and below just as the mobs do. In order to maintain a health balance between gaining 9 slime balls at a time per block, it would be ideal for this generation to be around as common as emerald ore- if not more sparse. If you jump up into a slime block it bounces you down. Posted: 09 Jul 2019 02:34 AM PDT You could add this for the sides as well. It wouldn't add much but could add more features for Redstoners I don't know the difficulty for coding this. Thanks [link] [comments] |
Posted: 09 Jul 2019 05:31 AM PDT Right now, all we have as "cosmetic items" for our Minecraft characters are the mob skulls and dyed leather armour. Which while they add a layer of detail to the game, they've never really satisfied the player too much because of how harder it is to obtain than iron armour which is three times better... I suggest making the appearance of leather armour vary depending on the dye, (or maybe exclusive villager leather worker trade or special workbench crafting), making the different skins look like the villager's clothes. The mobs that spawn in leather armour could have biome specific armor skins on, this could would make Minecraft feel more immersive. Better armour stand decorations, fun for players to "dress their builds" and fighting mobs with leather armour wont feel like it's still beta [link] [comments] |
Add the Fire Pits from Minecraft: Dungeons to the main game Posted: 09 Jul 2019 07:52 AM PDT I think they should add the iron Fire Pits seen in the MC:Dungeons trailers to the Java and Bedrock editions. They'd be really cool looking decorations, and we need really more of those in Minecraft. Crafting: They could be crafted with 5 iron in a V-like shape with a coal in the middle. (and maybe give 2 of them because they are expensive) Uses: If you drop a dye inside of the Fire Pit, the fire changes color. You'd also be able to use dispensers for that. Any item dropped in the fire gets destroyed, allowing them to be used as compact trash cans. Also, the fire wouldn't spread, so you can keep them inside your house with no worries of it catching on fire. [link] [comments] |
An enchanted book for non-ranged weapons that grants the player more xp per kill. Posted: 09 Jul 2019 03:28 AM PDT This couldn't be paired with Mending, and unlike mending instead of taking your xp for durabilitly, this would grant you extra xp. Perhaps at the cost of durabilitly. I'd make it a non enchanting-table item also, again just like the mending book. I dont imagine I'm the first to think of this, and I kinda feel like this has more potential than the way I've put it. Thoughts?? [link] [comments] |
Powering shulker boxes with redstone opens them Posted: 09 Jul 2019 04:23 PM PDT just like as if a player opened them. would allow some cool parkours i guess [link] [comments] |
If you frow a bottle of regeneration on a skeleton horse it turns into a zombie horse Posted: 09 Jul 2019 07:50 AM PDT |
Posted: 09 Jul 2019 05:15 PM PDT Unfortunately I can't add new items or structures but I can edit and make new crafting recipes and mobs. Anyone with bedrock want an add-on? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 09 Jul 2019 08:00 AM PDT Having different forms which have a new texture and different properties, maybe obsidian brick? It could be more resistant, and have a nice new block with a similar pallette. Or even make it a bit like sandstone having a smooth variation and half slabs. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 09 Jul 2019 07:11 AM PDT This already happens with the 1-9 keys for standard inventory slots. This would save a lot of time for say, crafting torches then moving to offhand, or a shield directly to the offhand slot. [link] [comments] |
Snowflakes should be more elegant Posted: 08 Jul 2019 10:52 PM PDT When it's snowing, the snowflakes should look more elegant rather than just a few dots. They could also have somewhat of a transparency to them to help you see when it is densely snowing. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 09 Jul 2019 02:27 PM PDT Swimming requires more armwork than boating does, and we can't eat and boat at the same time. So then why can a player swim and eat at the same time? I'm not asking to remove eating while in water, no - I just think for consistency purposes, the player should not be able to eat while they are physically moving through the water. One of the strongest enchantments ! Posted: 09 Jul 2019 02:11 PM PDT Okay everyone i had an idea. So. Basically im a Marvel amateur fan, so, i saw the last avengers and i noticed that when someone wield the Infinity Gauntlet they got a big electric shock to their veins, it's kind off like a price for a strong power. So i had an idea: A whole new enchantment ! Called "Storm Breaker" (the name can be changed for obvious reason). This is a very strong enchantement that can be fixed to weapons like swords, axes, pickaxes, shovels... hoes ? End this enchantments would make damage everytime you take the enchanted item in your hand, even if you switch to an another item just for a second. So the price exchange for getting shocked everytime you take the weapon, is a real power, damages are doubled, you can spawn lightning, it's like a free trident. But again the price for this would be very expensive (very much experience) and of course the damage. Hope you will like the idea ! Bye. [link] [comments] |
Mixed wood types and wool types for blocks Posted: 09 Jul 2019 01:25 PM PDT Alot of players were mad when they needed all of their wool to be one color to craft a bed or their wood to be one type to craft doors, trapdoors, ect. Well what if for survival and building purposes mixed wood type/ wool type was added for beds, doors, trapdoors, ect that could be crafted with any planks or wool colors. For the wooden items it would look like all the different planks kinda thrown together and the wool would look like sewn together patches of different colors. I think these blocks could be cool for some builds and very useful for survival. [link] [comments] |
