Just like in real life, when Bees bump into each other, they make a lil "woop!" noise Posted: 23 Aug 2019 02:39 AM PDT I think it'd be a cute little addition if bees, when their models collide with other bee hitboxes, they make a little "bzzzt!" or "woop!" sound. Honeybees have shown to make such sounds, so if possible, the Bees in 1.15 could make a sound when bouncing off one another. [link] [comments]
If you right click a beacon with a compass, it realigns you that position Posted: 23 Aug 2019 12:14 PM PDT As the title entails, if you right click on a beacon it'll realign a compass to that position, this slightly buffs beacons and makes compasses less underpowered [link] [comments]
"ZZZ" particles for sleeping entities. Posted: 23 Aug 2019 09:12 AM PDT When the player, villagers, or foxes sleep, they give off "ZZZ" particles to indicate they are sleeping. The particles move upwards in a curved pattern. When the entity is at full health and full hunger, the particles will also zigzag on their path to show heavy sleeping from contentment. Honey + Suspicious Stew = Extended Effect Duration Posted: 23 Aug 2019 04:05 AM PDT When you add Honey into a Suspicious Stew in the crafting table, it should extend the status effect's duration by 3 times. Posted: 23 Aug 2019 11:02 AM PDT Or maybe even just "The Birds and the Bees" since we also have chickens and will eventually have ostriches [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Aug 2019 11:30 PM PDT A villager will become a musician if there's a Jukebox nearby. He will sell music discs, noteblocks and jukeboxs. Special feature: After a raid, he will play music to celebrate the victory [link] [comments]
Bees should not attempt to get pollen from wither roses Posted: 23 Aug 2019 05:47 AM PDT Seems like an oversight Probably you shouldn't be able to breed them with wither roses either [link] [comments]
Honeycomb Blocks, Real Bee Nests, and Angrier Bees! Posted: 23 Aug 2019 07:28 AM PDT I created some decorational blocks themed around the new Bees! Honeycomb Blocks are crafted with 9 Honeycombs just like other storage blocks. These blocks can be dried up if they aren't near a Bee Hive or Bee Nest. In Jungles, you can find real Bee Nests made of Honeycomb Blocks. These have 3 Bees that spawn inside of them, along with one Bee Nest Block. They can also spawn in Plains biomes. I made two different textures for these blocks, one filled and one empty. I don't know what their functionality would be, if any, but I made them! However, the Dried Honeycomb Blocks do have a fun use. When stood upon by any mob, they will slowly crumble into air, allowing for some traps and minigames to be made :) Finally, Angry Bees are fun and all, but what if they went into all-out rage mode? Angry Bees should turn red-orange in color, as it still fits the color scheme quite nicely and it makes them easily distinguishable from regular Bees. Furthermore, along with turning angry when breaking the Bee Nest block, breaking any part of the larger Bee Nest structure will cause them to become angry. EDIT: formatting [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Aug 2019 12:59 PM PDT Do people not have the decency to look before posting? Like damn. "Bee keeper profession" and "Rename the 'parrots and the bats' achievement" should be on the FPS, there's not much left to say about them, so it would be better to have them on the FPS now rather than waiting for there to be 20+ of these posts [link] [comments]
Silver Ore, Silver Block and Silver Arrows Posted: 23 Aug 2019 07:37 AM PDT In this idea Silver has two main uses: Building/decoration, and protection from monsters. Silver Ore would be a new ore, that generates very rarely, but when it does, it's in very large veins. It makes glimmering particle effects when near light sources. You can smelt it into Silver Ingots. When combined with Glowstone, you can make Silver Glowstone, which is like glowstone, but silver colored, and makes the same glimmering particles. You can also craft that into a Silver Redstone Lamp. Now to the interesting part, protection from Monsters: 9 Silver ingots make a Silver Block. Monsters can't spawn on them, or near them, even in low light-levels, which makes it really useful. Undead mobs also take damage if they stand on it. Silver can also be used to craft Silver Arrows, which deal more damage to undead mobs and witches, and set them on fire. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Aug 2019 04:02 AM PDT When in survival mode, saturation points should be visible as an outline on the hunger bar. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Aug 2019 06:19 AM PDT Rivers have been the same for a long time, and need a rework. Since water mechanics have started to change I suggest to take it a step further and also change the river mechanics. I suggest making the water in rivers flow in a direction instead of being still like a lake. So instead of the "water blocks" right now there should be "flowing water blocks" that flow towards the sea. The rivers should start in the mountains and flow down in different "levels" (small waterfalls 1-3 blocks tall) out to the sea. [link] [comments]
Survival needs a tool similar to the debug stick for building. Posted: 23 Aug 2019 10:43 AM PDT It would be nice and really useful to have a builder's tool which provides to rotate blocks (like glazed terracotta) and connect fences/glass panes/iron bars in a customizable way, like how the debug stick works in creative mode. Maybe a mason villager could sell this item exclusively. [link] [comments]

a "bee-utiful" idea! the relationship between bees and music Posted: 23 Aug 2019 02:03 PM PDT ya like jazz? most bees do! that's why i think jukeboxes and bees should have a special interaction, i think if a music disc is played in a jukebox, bees will sway forward and back in the air, dancing to the music, and will be attracted to the jukebox, very similar to parrots. seems a bit redundant right? why have them just copy what parrots do but in the air? well, apart from it being very cute, it could serve a functional purpose, because when a bee is pollinated, they actually have a chance to grow crops up to additional stages, similar to bonemeal, but it's very situational and you cant really rely on it at all, the chance of it happening are so low (naturally, that is) that it'd be barely noticeable, that's why, if bees are attracted to jukeboxes, they'd be able to fly around the area by the jukebox, presumably in the middle of a farm, and dance their little bee butts all over the crops, growing them much more efficiently, due to the power of music! in addition to this, there could perhaps be a "subtle" hint to the bee movie in the form of an advancement, perhaps when you play a jukebox near some bees for the first time you get the advancement "ya like jazz?" i think it'd be a bee-utiful thing to do, and it'd cause a buzz in the meme economy, at least! Make shears the fastest tool for mining sponges. Posted: 23 Aug 2019 01:59 PM PDT There is no designated tool for sponge and the only place it naturally spawns is underwater and mining is way slower underwater so it's nearly impossible to efficiently collect sponge from a temple. Add Music to the Ender Dragon Fight! Posted: 23 Aug 2019 03:48 PM PDT The Ender Dragon boss fight is seen as kinda boring by some members of the community and I think that it could be slightly improved with the addition of some music. This could also carry over to the Wither fight and future bosses. It shouldn't be anything too intense, but maybe something slow and eerie would fit in. Comment any further suggestions you have. Posted: 23 Aug 2019 05:45 AM PDT With panda and polar bears already in the game, and bees on the horizon, it just makes sense. Grizzly Bears could spawn in forest, flower forest, and taiga biomes. They would be a neutral mob, much like the polar bear, and do 1 more heart of damage than the polar bear. Grizzlies would attack beehives and bee nests, taking 1/2 damage from the initial sting and would have a poison immunity. Bears would also attack salmon and pigs. Grizzlies could un-aggro or even be bred by the player using honeycomb, any meat other than chicken, any fish other than pufferfish, sweet berries, and apples. These foods would also heal the grizzly. This mob would better flesh out the game in general, and add more things to do with bees. It could also be used in mini games where you have to protect a beehive from waves of grizzlies. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Aug 2019 12:57 PM PDT since the village and pillage update a lot of new stations have been added. But maybe a some sort of a carpentry table where you can craft stuff out of wood would be useful. similar to the stone cutter. Maybe I'm late i should have suggested this during the updates development. [link] [comments]
The new bees’ health should be reduced. Posted: 23 Aug 2019 03:28 AM PDT In the latest snapshot of the upcoming 1.15 update, we got bees, honey and other bee-related stuff, but bees need a bit of a nerf. Bees have 10 health points (5 hearts), compare that to a wolf, a wolf only has 8 health points (4 hearts). Wolves' attack damage are actually more powerful and the wolves themselves are bigger than bees (but have the same width as of now), so why not reduce the bees health to a smaller amount, I guess 3 health (1.5 hearts) to be exact. Posted: 23 Aug 2019 02:21 AM PDT IntroductionSo I know that we recently had the Aquatic Update, but there is so much more potential for the ocean, and more specifically, the ocean depths. I get that Mojang wanted to give us an update as quick as possible because we hadn't had an update in a year, but these are the changes that could've made the Aquatic Update even better. Hope you enjoy. New Biomes
New Structures
New Ores and Materials
New Mobs
Oxygen Tanks
ConclusionI hope you enjoyed this long read about my ideas to make the ocean more alive and more terrifying. Let me know your opinions in the comments. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Aug 2019 01:18 PM PDT I planned on posting to Minecraft Feedback, but this isn't allowed unfortunately. This is a bit condensed because of Minecraft Feedback's 1500 character limit, sorry about that. I basically designed what I would consider an ideal Wilderness update. Hopefully that's okay, mods :) Forest (all kinds) Deer- Neutral, 3 damage, 20 HP. Drops Raw Venison and 4 XP. Bears- Hostile, 5 damage, 20 HP. Drops Raw Venison, 4 XP, chance of dropping honey. Acorn Trees- Its leaves always drop 1+ acorn. Not found in Taiga biomes. Acorns- 1 hunger point, 1 sat. point. Venison- Raw: 3 hunger points, 2 sat. points. Cooked: 7 hunger points, 4 sat. points. Campfires now spawn naturally in Forests, always put out. Log Cabins- Made of Oak Logs, have a bed, crafting table, and chest. Chests contain apples, mushrooms, and acorns. Dolmens- Made of stone. Mostly have vines on them. Jungle Snakes- Hostile, 2 damage, effects with 10 seconds of poison, 8 HP. Drops 15 XP. Tribal Villages- Similar to regular villages, with 3 differences. They don't have Iron Golems, become hostile towards players who steal from them, and will then attack with bows. Mesa Horse Trails- Paths of coarse dirt between 300 and 400 blocks long, and they have a dungeon treasure at the end. Always spawn facing away from the world spawn. Horses now spawn rarely in Mesa biomes. Trading Posts- 1 to 2 village houses, 2 villagers who have better prices than regular ones. Wandering Traders spawn more commonly here. Oases- A pool of water with grass around it, and a few animals. Also spawn in deserts. Other Mossy Ruins- Made of cobblestone and mossy cobblestone. Crops sometimes grow around the area. Mushrooms are most likely to spawn next to trees, will rarely grow back after being harvested. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Aug 2019 02:00 PM PDT The addition of raids in 1.14 was great, but why stop there? Why not add more wave based threats to defend your village from? A possible threat that could be added is pirates and pirate invasions. These pirates aren't pillagers, instead they're regular villagers gone bad. Having left there original Village after stealing from it. They now spend there days thefing from villages. There are 2 possible ways to encounter these Pirates. Firstly, you can come across what is known as a pirate crew.this is the pirate equivalent to a pillager patrol. They ride on boats and spawn in oceans or near shores. They would have an higher chance to spawn near either shipwrecks or buried treasure. Secondly, A new structure known as a pirate ship would be added. These would be shipwrecks before they sunk, and therefore look similar. They would be considerably rarer than shipwrecks though. On board these ships are pirate crews. In both cases, you must kill a pirate captain to get the bad omen effect (I'm unsure if they'd give bad omen or a new effect to distinguish them from pillager raids, let me know what's better) the captain wears a blank banner with a white skull pattern. Once you enter a village, the invasion will start. Pirate types- there are many types of pirates that appear during these invasions. Pirate brawler- wields a iron sword with knockback 2. Drop emeralds on death, rarely there sword. Pirate sniper- This pirate wields a bow with punch 2. In later waves they may shoot poison arrows.drop arrows on death, rarely there bow Pirate thief - this is a fast moving pirate which will attempt to steal from near by chests. If they approach a player from behind, they can steal any item that is not on there hotbar. When killed, they drop all the items they have stolen. They can also drop iron and gold bars and nuggets. Rogue golem- As well as the villagers, a few golems have also gone rogue and joined the pirates. They act like regular iron golems when I'm attack mode, though they will always attack the player. Drop iron when killed and rarely a wither rose. Pirates parrot- no pirate would be fit without a parrot. These have a chance of spawning by themselves, or on the shoulder of a pirate. They will fly down at the player and attack them. They will also sometimes fly back on the shoulders of pirates. Drop feathers. Pirate captain- The leader of the pirates and the main threat. These are basically a amalgamation of all other pirates. When the player is near, they attack with a sword. When they are far away, they use a bow. These weapons are special as they are enchanted with the unobtainable knockback III and punch III respectively. They have a chance of dropping these weapons however, making these the only way to obtain these enchants in a survival world. They will attempt to steal from the player and from chests, and drink healing potions when hurt. When you attempt to attack it, it will call the other pirates in the wave towards it to help. When killed,it'll drop stolen items, a buried Treasure map (50%) and a pirate hat (100%) Waves- The waves would act as follows- Wave 1- Snipers and brawlers Wave 2-Snipers(25% poison arrows) ,brawlers and thiefs. Wave 3-Snipers (50% poison arrows) brawlers, thiefs and pirate parrots. Wave 4- Snipers(75% poison arrows), brawlers, thiefs, parrots and golems. Wave 5- Snipers (100% poison arrows) brawlers, thiefs, parrots, Golems and the pirate captain. When the invasion is defeated, you'll get the hero of the village advancement,as an alternative way of obtaining it,as well as the rich village effect, as a result of the village stealing back of the pirates. The rich Village effect lasts as long as hero of The village. The prices stay the same, but for as long as the effect is in action, the villagers won't ever run out of stock. Pirate hat- this hat can be worn on your head, giving the same armour as a leather cap. When worn, pirates won't attack you unless attacked first and they will go after any mobs you attack and follow you.this way, you can take other pirate ships and slowly build up your own pirate crew. There would be 2 new advancements that would come with this. Pirate leader- have 12 pirates following you at once Invader of the village -find a village and kill every Villager in it while leading a pirate crew. Additional information - Only pirate snipers and brawler appear along side a captain in a pirate crew. A raid can't take place at the same time as a pirate invasion. Hero of the village effect and rich village won't stack. You can not get bad omen or trigger a raid while the rich village effect is in...effect. Let me know what you think of this idea. Tridents should be obtainable from Ocean Monuments + Impaling rework Posted: 23 Aug 2019 09:15 AM PDT The Trident is one of the most powerful weapons in the game, and it seems like the method of obtaining it is too luck-based and unceremonious. So I had an idea: Allow players to get tridents from Ocean Monuments. The Basics:
When a Trident is obtained, the advancement "Son of Poseidon" is obtained. This advancement is a reference to the Percy Jackson series and a popular meme. I also had an idea for a rework on the Impaling Enchantment, essentially turning it into the Bedrock version of Impaling.
Another small idea for the Trident:
