It has normal antigrief and claims plugins, etc. There are some differences. Teamwork On TeamMC, teamwork is a huge thing we value. If you a some other people work together, you can become an official team. This means you get your own private channels on the discord, and you can participate in team based events. Events We have an event system on TeamMC. There is a monthly challenge, and whoever wins it gets a exclusive trophy that you can only get from the event. This challenge is chosen based off holidays and other events that month. We also have special events occasionally, like building challenges. Some of these require a team. Custom Items and plugins On TeamMC, we have added some custom items that you can find in naturally generated chests, like dungeons and mine shafts. Next week, we are adding more items like these and some craftable items as well. Sometime next month, we are adding some custom entities. We also have 2 cool plugins that make the experience much more unique, ArmoredElytra which allows you to combine Elytras with armor, and SilkSpawners which lets you break spawners. Our gameplay is simple: do anything you like, as long as it's constructive. Absolutely everything is done in survival mode. No matter what you see, no matter how impressive it is, it was done is survival. There are no diamonds for voting, we don't even take donations, and admins can't spawn items. Our only real game changer is teleportation. We have /home, /back, /spawn and /tpa for example. Some people don't like these features, which is understandable, but we find that they help make the world feel more connected. If you plan on playing with friends you can add each other to your friends list using the /friend command. This will allow you to teleport to each other using the /tp command. Our current map was created in 1.13. For the 1.14 update we expanded eastwards, doubling the size of our map to 14,000 by 28,000 blocks. We like to keep our maps for a reasonable amount of time. For reference, our last map we had from March 2016 to July 2018. We are hoping to keep our current map until at least mid 2021. In any case, all old maps are available for download after a reset. We are a greylisted server. This means anyone can join and walk around, but are not able to modify the world until they have been removed from the greylist. Launched just days ago, Lightweight Factions is a server that wants to stay away from all the garbage of huge servers who only care about donations. I completely self-fund the server, so my best interest is in the game-play and letting server members do as they please. The map is currently 6,000x6,000, however as we get more members that might expand. Currently, the shop only sells Spawners, TNT, Elytras, Shulker Boxes, Spawn Eggs, and dirt and cobble. This is different from other servers - you actually have to gather resources, not just build a cactus farm and use the shop to supply you resources.

I am aiming to get together a small but tight-knit community of mature, friendly 16+ y/o players of any and all skill levels to help shape the community and the direction in which the server goes. About the server
Currently there is no discord server but I will be setting one up when I know how many people are interested. And I'm definitely open to adding/removing mods as the community see fit. RulesRules wise I'm trying to keep this light, I'm hoping that by inviting the right people into the community everything will run relatively smoothly. But here a few guidelines:
