This server used to be a place for a small group of friends but we've since been opening up the server to other players! The server host is based in Singapore, but myself and our current 10 players are mostly from the Philippines. We want to build a small, active community on the server to hopefully build it into a beautiful place. We try to keep the survival experience as vanilla as possible. Only major non-vanilla things are BetterSleeping (Only need 30% of online players in bed for night to pass) and Essentials's teleport requesting. The server has enough room for 15 players at a time (currently) so with there only being 4 of us I feel like its not being used to its full potential so I would like to invite additional people to come join. We all work full time so unfortunately we don't get a great deal of time to play so I am looking for people in all walks of life to join us. The server is just standard survival with a few small mods (see below) and there are no real limitations on what people want to build or do. We are looking to create not only a Minecraft server, but also a strong community around it. With Minestad we are hoping to create opportunities to make friends and enjoy experiences and create memories with one another. Minestad's goal With Minestad we hope to provide more than just a server for you to get your quick fix of Minecraft. While being somewhat unrealistic and a largely unattainable goal, we strive for Minestad to be similar to Hermitcraft. Important Note While Minestad is currently up and running the server will be reset on Friday, September 6th at 7:00pm CST (GMT -5). This date will be viewed as the official start date. We are doing this for a couple reasons. The first reason is to ensure that everything is running as it should be. We are going to take a few days to test the server and give players time to test their connections. The second reason is to provide everyone with a level playing field. Nobody enjoys joining a server and struggling to survive the first night while people already have end game gear. Launched just 3 days ago, Lightweight Factions is a server that wants to stay away from all the garbage of huge servers who only care about donations. I completely self-fund the server, so my best interest is in the game-play and letting server members do as they please. The map is currently 6,000x6,000, however as we get more members that might expand. Currently, the shop only sells Spawners, TNT, Elytras, Shulker Boxes, Spawn Eggs, and dirt and cobble. This is different from other servers - you actually have to gather resources, not just build a cactus farm and use the shop to supply you resources.

A newer player who likes to mine and is exploring building (still learning the basics and know nothing about RedStone, etc) , enjoys lending a helping hand, and supplying building materials for other players. I'm an older player; 37; and while I thought I had found a great server, the conversation has seriously gone downhill as of late and it's just not as fun anymore. Any version from 12.2 on is great. I'm also open to other options other then towny, but I do enjoy jobs. I enjoy chatting and would like a friendly place to meet others and get to know the community.
