Nitwits have 30% chance to jump on crops and break them Posted: 16 Oct 2019 04:30 AM PDT when there are some nitwits near farmlands they have 30% chance to jump on farmlands and break crops also if there is a farmer villager near them then it'll display anger particles above its head, this makes sense because nitwits are idiot villagers. they'll only do this for bothering farmer villagers [link] [comments]
There should be able to carve lots of faces on pumpkins Posted: 16 Oct 2019 10:23 AM PDT Its Halloween can we please get this it would be the best decoration ever [link] [comments]
Named mobs should have their names show up in subtitles Posted: 16 Oct 2019 03:48 PM PDT This has been a feature with death messages since 1.8, why not do the same for subtitles? [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Oct 2019 01:18 PM PDT Rivers a lot of the time feel like creeks or kinda wide Brooks. Give us big ol rivers, maybe topping out at 40-30 blocks wide. Also keep in creeks and Brooks which are much smaller of course. [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Oct 2019 10:04 AM PDT Just another bit of food to add to the game. It would be crafted by putting an apple and a honey bottle together. It would heal 8 hunger points (4 bars) and have a lot of saturation, and like honey, removes the poison effect. They are stackable, unlike Honey Bottles. [link] [comments]
Arm Animation when using fireworks Posted: 16 Oct 2019 12:26 PM PDT There isn't an arm animation for using a firework, so I thought I'd be cool if your character would pull the string on the firework to show yourself using it [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Oct 2019 04:53 PM PDT -Lore- A land located beneath the bedrock, the second hardest block in the universe. The ancient being, those who ruled the land before you arrived, attempted to reach the depths of the Crystal Trench many times, but no one ever made it to the end and survived. Note: The Ancient Beings are the ones that built the mineshafts and stronghold, since we don't really know who. -Biomes- The Crystal Trench has 4 biomes, that generate in 4 rings from the center point. These biomes get increasingly more dangerous as you go outwards, eventually leading to a boss fight. Pristine Caverns - The Pristine Caverns are the first biome, roughtly 200 blocks in diameter. The entire biome is lit up, even though there are no light sources located here. The center of the biome contains a large lake, with the water being extremely saturated. Random water will also pour from the ceiling, similar to how lava pours from the ceiling of the Nether. The only creature here is the Wisp(More Later). The only ore located in the Pristine Caverns is Crystalite(More Later). It is built out of crystals, which can be crafted into glass (4x4) or used for building. Rocky Valley - The Rocky Valley is built out of a mixture of andesite, cobblestone, and stone. It is roughly 150 blocks wide. It is essentially a massive open cavern. Inside of the Rocky Valley, you will only find creepers, zombies, skeletons, and cave spiders. However, they will all have double health, double detection radius, and will be slightly faster. Inside of this will be a few small buildings, and campsites, all with extinguished fires. They will all share one loot table (Camp1 - More Later) Abyssal Planes - The ground is made up of a mixture of coarse dirt and diseased dirt(more later). It is roughly 250 blocks wide. The walls are made up of crystalized stone, which drops crystalized cobblestone when mined without silk touch. This will also have brick textures, stairs, and slabs. Inside of the Abyssal Planes will be massive skeletons, roughly double the size of fossils found above ground. There will be more abandoned camp sites, some containing the loot table (Camp1), and other containing the loot table (Camp2). You will be able to find creepers, zombies, skeletons, cave spiders, crystalized corpses(more later), and dune worms(more later). This also contains a new ore, Neprix Ore(More Later) Shrouded Chasm - It is roughly 200 blocks wide, 150 of which are the maze-like caverns. An area full of supernatural darkness. As soon as the biome is entered, all light sources you hold will be extinguished. However, they will relight when you leave. You will also be given the new effect, tunnel vision(more later). The entire thing is a block of unbreakable blocks, only taken over by large maze-like caves. If you make it to the other side, you will encounter the Rock Golem(More Later). This area will also contain crystalized corpses and dune worms. How do you access the dimension? As I said, it is located underneath of the bedrock. You can create a device that sends out incredibly powerful sound waves to 5 blocks beneath it. It will destroy the block, leaving nothing behind, if powered by redstone. The block itself will also implode upon use. This will leave a gaping hole in the bedrock. Jumping down will teleport you to a hole in the roof of the Pristine Caverns, in which you will fall into the lake. Recipe-
-New Ores- Crystalite - Crystalite can be found in every biome, and is more common the further out you go. Crystalite drops the ore when mined, and can be used to make a new set of weapons/armour. Crystalite Weapons/Armour have 1.5 times the durability and 1.5 times the damage/mining speed/armour than diamond gear, but cannot be enchanted. It can also be used to make an endothermic compass. (Replace the iron with crystalite). The endothermic compass will point in the direction of the nearest end city. Crystalite is a blueish purple. Neprix - Neprix can be found in the Abyssal Planes and the Shrouded Chasm. Neprix ore drops 2-5 Neprix dust when mined. Neprix is essentially just stronger redstone. It has double the signal length. Pistons made from it have double the push limit. Repeaters made from it have double the delay. Neprix blocks can power through blocks and produce double the strength. Neprix torches produce double the strength. Neprix can also be placed under water. Neprix is a very dark purple. -New Mobs- Crystalized Corpse - Crystalized corpses are zombies made of crystals and other minerals. They have half the speed of a zombie, 50 health, deal 25 damage, and are immune to projectiles. Shields also do nothing against them. They will drop diamonds, emeralds, crystalite, and neprix. They also emit a light level of 2. Dune Worm - Dune worms live underground. They will emerge from the ground, dealing 20 damage and knocking you back incredibly far. They will then dive back under the ground. The ground will emit particles 3 seconds before it jumps up, and your screen will shake 3 seconds prior if you are within 10 blocks. It has 15 health. It drops Dune Worm Skin, which can be turned into 4 leather, or be used to repair any item for 10% of its total durability. Rock Golem - The Rock Golem is the boss of the dimension. It has interesting combat, however. It barely moves, but for every 30 damage it takes, it will enter a form in which it cannot take damage(A large boulder). It then generates a parkour course that is made of cobblestone/stone pillars from the ground up. After climbing the course, you can hit a cobblestone heart. This make the pillars sink into the ground(You will take fall damage), but will make the golem scream in anger before uncurling from its boulder form. During the parkour, dune worms will attack you. The Rock Golem has 200 health and will deal 30 damage if it manages to hit you. When it dies, it will drop a crystalized heart(More Later). The rock golem will respawn if no one is within 200 blocks for 15 minutes. Diseased Dirt - Diseased dirt works like normal dirt, but nothing will actually grow on it except for potatoes, which become poisonous potatoes. Crystalized Heart - The crystalized heart can be used to craft a crystalized beacon. The crystalized beacon will produce a beam of light coloured both blue and purple when powered by crystalite blocks (3x3). All farm animals will grow up and prepare to breed twice as fast in a 50 block radius. No enemies can spawn or enter the 50 block radius, unless they come from a mob spawner. All crops in a 50 block radius will grow twice as fast. Recipe-
Loot Tables- Camp1 - Iron Ingots: 20%. Diamonds: 15%. Emeralds: 15%. Crystalite: 10%. Iron Pickaxe(Randomly Enchanted w/ Level 30): 10%. Lapis Lazuli: 15%. Torch: 10%. Bread: 5% Camp2 - Diamonds: 15%. Emeralds: 15%. Crystalite: 20%. Neprix: 10%. Diamond Pickaxe(Randomly Enchanted 2/ Level 15-30): 5%. Shield: 15%. Bread: 10%. Cobblestone: 10% How To Leave - Going to sleep here will automatically take you back to your home bed. Beds can be found in the camps. For A Representation - I am attempting to create this in my datapack, so that will contain it if I succeed. Many things will be changed, such as the use of the ores and the amount of ores, but that is just to fit the theme of my pack, which contains things like advanced automation and spellcasting. I wanted this to feel fairly vanilla, so it could actually be used. Final Notes - I believe I touched on everything. If there are any questions, let me know. The numbers on everything also aren't finalized, they would need to be adjusted accordingly, but I have no way to test it at the moment to be sure. Let me know what you guys think of the idea. Thanks for reading! [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Oct 2019 03:51 PM PDT You can give any food an effect by right clicking a cauldron with potion in it with the food in you hand. Although the title say poisoned food you can potentially give good effect like night vision. Food items with an effect look slightly different in colour that you can tell which effect it has, but it's easy to be ignored and players fall for it, just like trapped chests. Make the Health Bar More Visible While Under the Wither Effect. Posted: 16 Oct 2019 06:14 PM PDT While under the wither effect, the health bar is rendered nearly invisible. I personally have fallen victim to this hundreds of times. If the hearts were changed to say, a dark red color, that would make it about ten times easier to see how much health you have, while still keeping up the appearance that you have just been poisoned by some big, charred skeleton. Then players would be claimed by the famous, "I've got enough health left, I can make it across this lava ocean fine!" much, much less. [link] [comments]
A new slimeblock variant which sticks to all slimeblock variants, nothing else Posted: 16 Oct 2019 05:18 PM PDT vote for this on the MC feedback website here I think that it would be a good addition to add in a new slimeblock variant like the honey block, but its key feature which I think would be really useful is that it sticks to only itself, slimeblocks, and honey blocks (and any other future slimeblock variant.) This could be used in between slimeblocks so that part of a contraption doesn't stick to nearby walls. It would also have interesting parkour properties or other uses like the slimeblock's bounciness and the honey blocks sticky-ness, but I haven't come up with anything. The main focus are the slimestone applications. Some ideas for other slimeblock variants I have are: - Magma cream block - Ink Block - Cobweb Block - Butter Block [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Oct 2019 10:35 AM PDT Basically, this optional terrain feature generates 40000 blocks from 0,0 and it is like a border to your world. https://imgur.com/gallery/lXPZDHz [link] [comments]
Make fish swim away from you (And make fishing make sense) Posted: 15 Oct 2019 10:15 PM PDT Honestly surprised this isn't already the case. It's kind of weird as is, swimming through the water and seeing fish just casually travel past you, as though you're not even there. Swimming close to a group of fish should cause them to quickly scatter. This would also encourage players to go fishing properly, since they couldn't quite just jump in a lake and kill come fish when they wanted them. I'd also rework the fishing system to go along with this, make it so maybe fish are attracted to the hook and get caught in it the same way the fishing rod catches other mobs, so when you reel it in it would yank the fish (still alive, as a mob) towards you out of the water and you'd scramble to kill it without letting it flop back into the water again. Right now fishing is like using a string to magically pull items out of water, not to mention kinda boring. This wasn't that bad until fish became actual creatures and broke what little sense the system made. With my suggestion, it would become an active game of luring in fish, pulling them out, and trying to collect them, not to mention it would make some amount of sense. Also pufferfish don't need to swim away, since they already have their defense mechanism. [link] [comments]
Clocks have been pretty bad for a while, so I think a rework is appropriate! Posted: 16 Oct 2019 03:27 PM PDT Clocks right now rely almost entirely on the player understanding how they work, which isn't that well to begin with. Their sole use is as an okay way to tell if it's night or day when you're deep underground, but most players don't require that knowledge. Instead, when you make a clock it should be able to tell you the exact time of day, wherever in the overworld you are. Simply 'use' the item, and in the place right above your XP bar, it'll tell you what time of day/night it is in military time. Maybe there could be an option to switch it from military to 12 hours in the options menu. This could also function when you put your crosshair over it while it's in an item frame. Dungeon Revamp, Biome Specific Dungeons, and more Posted: 15 Oct 2019 06:47 PM PDT Everything that will be removedThe current dungeons are completely gone. Pretend that they no longer exist. The New DungeonsDungeons will be randomly generated underground. They spawn randomly, and are very rare .5% for each chunk. (One in 150 chunks). They will have specifications, and if the correct criteria are met, they will have an increased 20% chance of spawning in the chunk with the criteria. Each dungeon has criteria for a chunk they are in. They spawn in the middle of chunks always. The Undertaken DungeonThis dungeon is wider and has only 2 blocks of height. It is made of stonebrick and has gravestones of Signs at random intervals. You can encounter these anywhere. You can find the chests at the ends of it, but there will be a combination of any "Undead" mob in the centers. The mobs will always spawn by a sign, and the amount of signs are random. The signs will have the name of the mob it is linked to. The chests will these things: Curse of Mori Book or Iron Tools (New Curse.) ==Curse of Mori - Comes in Book Form or already enchanted.==------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Curse of Mori causes you to deal 60% less damage to Undead Mobs, the opposite of Smite. If you are using Armor with Curse of Mori, you will take 60% more damage from mobs. If you are using tools with Curse of Mori, you will lose more durability near the Undead. This is a big deal, to make the weakest mob the strongest. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gold Ingots (1-9) Rotten Flesh (Up to 64) Smooth Stone (1-8) Spider DenYou can encounter these anywhere. These are not traditional, and occur in existing caves. The caves will be 7+ blocks tall, and will have silverfish stone, cobwebs, and poisonous spiders. The Chests will be caught in the webs, and will have several things in them. Iron Gold Emeralds (Rare) Iron and Gold Tools Treasure Map Boat Shovel Planks of any type Empty Bucket Water Bucket (Rare) The Ravine CageIn the middle of a ravine, there will be a dungeon which is suspended. It is made of wood, and has holes at the top. The Ravine Cage will have armored Skeletons in it. They have full Iron, but each item has the curse of Mori on it. There will be a tripwire with TNT near the Cage, usually near the bottom, sides, or on a surrounding bridge. Their bows have power 1. There will never be a chest in here. These are a trap, mainly. The Suspended FrostThese spawn in any cold biome. These will be surrounded in packed ice, and may even spawn in glaciers and icebergs. There will be 2 strays here and a wolf, who is always aggressive. The wolf will target other wolves first. These will looks like a grand cathedral, with up to 4-5 block high ceilings as a dome. In the center, there will be bone blocks and a chest near them. The chest will have some things. Arrows of Slowness (1-5) Arrows of Weakness (1-5) Bones (1-113) Skull (Only comes if there is more than 70 bones in the chest) ==Expired Potions==--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Expired potions are made with a Potion and brewing them with Endstone. Expired Potions will always last for 1/2 of the original duration, but will have an extra level of strength. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The OvenThese spawn in deserts and in Mesas. It will be 8 blocks tall, but will be 3 blocks in height for you* There will be a chamber underneath the floor. There are gaps in the floor. The chasm is 5 blocks tall, making it 3 blocks tall in reality. The chasm has cacti and some cobwebs. There will be a husk spawner and a single skeleton. The chest will be at the end of the rows. It will contain gold and bones only. The chest at the bottom contains enchanting books of all kinds, but only 3 of them. Curses will be one of them. They all have baked goods in them, a joke to the oven. [link] [comments]
When entering text on a sign, you can select a 'flair' for each individual side and corner. Posted: 15 Oct 2019 08:51 PM PDT To explain further: every side and corner of a sign would have a toggle switch. Below the sign's text window, you would be able to choose from different styles:
And any others that you think would be interesting! Being able to incorporate borders (but more importantly incomplete borders) would let sign makers do the following:
This square puzzle could be solved without the borders, but the borders would make it easier. You want to challenge your players, not frustrate them. EDIT: Not sure why the code formatting isn't working. [link] [comments] |
