| Posted: 17 Oct 2019 06:55 PM PDT Hello! My friends and I are looking for a server to call home. We're all big fans of medieval/fantasy settings and love creating our own castles/towns/kingdoms. A big part of this, for us, is putting what we make to use. We like to make castles that look great and are also functional. PVP is preferred, hopefully centered around some sort of official war format. PVE content and quests/dungeons can be a big draw for us too. We enjoy plugins that add magic/economics and expand on smelting/cooking/tanning/overall crafting, though those aren't necessarily a deal breaker. Also! Light RP is cool with us. Heavy even, if the server matches our other needs. We'd also like for the server to be decently active. There are several servers out there that kinda fit what we're looking for but more often than not they're dead and empty. We don't need 1000s of people, but an average population of anywhere from the 20s to the 100s works best for us. Finally, we appreciate a good looking server. Mile high cobble pillars, lava everywhere, tnt holes every way you look... we're looking to avoid those issues. It doesn't have to be spotless, just not a complete and total mess. It's mostly vanilla, with a few of the standard tweaks: Fire tick has been turned off and the difficulty set to hard. It's still in the very early stages. Eventually, I'd like to establish a shopping area near spawn, a nether hub, and few of the more ambitious farms (guardian, enderman, wither skeleton). PVP is allowed if both parties agree. No griefing, stealing, etc. I'd really like to cultivate a neighborhood of sorts. I'm picturing community enchanting station, enderman farm, nether hub, etc. I've specified 18+ because I find it discouraging when someone without a job or similar obligation is able to devote significantly more time than most and reach god-tier status before anyone else can even feed themselves. The lag is usually pretty low) with a low player count. That's why we are currently accepting applications. People have for the most part, gotten relatively set up but we've only just set up a spot for shops and the nether hub, so there's still plenty of stuff to get done. The server is in 1.14.2 currently, to take advantage of some game mechanics. We will move to the latest update at some point. The server is semi-vanilla. The data-packs installed are pretty standard. A full list can be given on request but the bigger game changing ones are Sethome, Multiplayer sleep, and Customisable Armor Stands. Rules are mostly common sense.
