Our community areas are not very developed though we do have a few shops which will hopefully help newer players. All the current players know each other IRL and are all in the timezone (GMT +8). We are encouraging people to adjust community areas as long as it improves the build. We use Cubedcraft to run our server and we're based in Asia (specifically Hong Kong). The Panda Kingdom is still looking for more players to join our community. At the moment we are really looking for long term players to join our community but of course welcome more casual players with less time to play too. We can offer a mature, chill environment to play in where the focus is on community and making the experience pleasant for everyone. Minecraft is a game and meant to be fun to play! We care about our players and highly encourage interacting with each other - why else play on a multiplayer server? (; We all play on Survival - even the mods! The only time we use other gamemodes is for server maintenance, events or mod-jobs like finding issues not fixable in survival. We host several events throughout the year, like Beacon Hunts, Minigame Tournaments and Build Competitions - We're actually just now in the final stages of two build competitions where the rewards are a stack of diamonds to the person who wins along with a shulker full of materials chosen by the winner. We have many more competitions planned in the future, like for example: Find The Mod (Hide and Seek) where you search for the mod (who hid using spectator mode) in a target location and the first to hit them with an spectral arrow wins. Speed Crafting where a certain amount of materials are given to the players and then they are told what to craft. The first one to throw the crafted, renamed item into the hosting mod's inventory wins. Or Quiz Room, a "maze" of rooms where you have to answer questions correctly in order to progress. The player who finishes the maze the fastest wins. I'll be honest with you and say that currently most of our players are inactive due to school starting up again, meaning a lot don't have time to play. That's why we're searching for more players to join us, so we can get some life back to our server and have some great people to do our events for. Maybe one of those players are you? We try to keep that vanilla feeling by not restricting players and force them to use plugins. You play the game how you want and our server should compliment that! Jobs and quests are available if you want to earn some coins which can be used to create a personal land or buy / sell stuff from other players. Keep in mind that you don't need a land to protect your belongings as you can just use a sign to lock chests and other containers. If you choose to adventure out in the world or do some quests you might come across interesting places or dungeons. These are all hand-made and usually contain player instanced loot which resets after x amount of time, so you can loot it again! For this we also have custom made loot which come in different rarities similar to Borderlands or World of Warcraft. Our gameplay is simple: do anything you like, as long as it's constructive. Absolutely everything is done in survival mode. No matter what you see, no matter how impressive it is, it was done is survival. There are no diamonds for voting, we don't even take donations, and admins can't spawn items. Our only real game changer is teleportation. We have /home, /back, /spawn and /tpa for example. Some people don't like these features, which is understandable, but we find that they help make the world feel more connected. If you plan on playing with friends you can add each other to your friends list using the /friend command. This will allow you to teleport to each other using the /tp command. Our current map was created in 1.13. For the 1.14 update we expanded eastwards, doubling the size of our map to 14,000 by 28,000 blocks. We like to keep our maps for a reasonable amount of time. For reference, our last map we had from March 2016 to July 2018. We are hoping to keep our current map until at least mid 2021. In any case, all old maps are available for download after a reset. We are a greylisted server. This means anyone can join and walk around, but are not able to modify the world until they have been removed from the greylist. To be removed is very simple: you just need to read the rules, type a command and wait for someone to remove you. There is no written application process. The world has been running for about three months, with no intention of resetting for 1.15- instead we will look outward and will find new land ourselves. Here are some builds that people on the server have done! Admin will give the world seed(s) upon request. There was an error when transferring the world from Realm -> Server that led to us having two separate seeds. This led to some very unique generation and we decided to keep it. About the ServerThe server is a 72 Slot Server with 6144 MB of Memory, allowing us to build the farms we want without running into issues. We started Liko Land to play with just friends, slowing adding more and more friend groups. But as school started back, our player count dropped. We're looking to repopulate. As stated earlier, there are no intentions of restarting for 1.15- so your progress is safe for a while! World saves are performed every 5-10 minutes with backups downloaded once a week. Hi! Are you looking for a small, simple survival server to play on with some friends and other cool people? Well look no further! All applicants that are accepted will be notified ASAP by myself through Reddit PM. On this server, we like to base our most basic values on other SMP servers like Mindcrack and Hermitcraft. So chests and belongings are based on trust, so trust other people to not take your stuff without asking and you don't do it to them. PvP is enabled but a player versus player fight is only permitted if both people agree to fight and give back any items. When you first log on, you will spawn in the 'spawn chunks', there, we as a server community will build starter houses and shops and other cool looking buildings to make a nice little village/town for everyone to enjoy. We have a few some datapacks enabled on the server such as one player sleeping and mob head drops as well to make for a more interesting and streamlined playthrough. So what we want from a member is to be an active and dedicated player on the server, and I really want to emphasis on this. Players form their own nations, enforce their own rules, and are responsible for protecting what they've made. Playing as a hermit is an extra challenge compared to other Survival servers: Punch a tree? No, you need to get sticks from leaves, and make planks from sticks. Make stone tools? You need to get flint or bone to make primitive tools instead. Oh major buff recently: Stone will make wooden-equivalent tools now! OK I've got a primitive tool, why isn't this stone breaking? Primitive tools are junk, you need to hit it 1-10 times until it randomly breaks. Iron/Bronze/Steel/Diamond are better. Found some iron, why can't I smelt it? Uhh I could explain how to make Factories, but you'd probably better join a nation or trade some logs at this point. OK fine, let's make a boat and sail to a nation! No, you can't make a boat without several factories, but you can use /ott for a one-time teleport to join a group :) Benefits of a nation: Factories can make things quicker and cheaper than normal, and the basic ones aren't very expensive. A small group of players can afford the intermediate ones too. The guy who logged on to quickly gear up and go raiding can't do that; your new friends with an iron sword and leather armor can take him out. Easier to build and protect a secure vault, where PrisonPearl can store captured prisoners. Or if you get captured, being in a nation can help negotiate your release or free you in a war. The only plug-ins that are installed on the server do not alter the vanilla game play very much and only make things a little bit more convenient. We have a strict zero tolerance policy, players doing any of these things will be removed from our community permanently. We don't want our members feeling cheated or abused, so we aren't going to lower the bar just to keep a person around. Recognizing a fine line however is important. I am specifically talking about pranks and jokes. We have many on this server now who like to welcome new players with some practical jokes - the end state of course being that you conducted yourself admirably through it all and you end up rewarded.
