Players get to claim land outside of cities that are 100% grief-free, and as they spend more time on the server, the number of blocks they can claim also goes up. Inside the cities, players can buy plots of land with in-game currency to set up a mob-free home (mobs don't spawn in cities) and/or a shop. The server also has edited mobs. They get more powerful the further you travel from spawn, and the more powerful they are-the better the drops! With these edited mobs we have bosses with their own mechanics and drops in the server as well! You can use /home and /spawn to get around on the server. There is also a teleport room for different cities. The spawn of the server rotates throughout the year between different cities to keep players spread out. We have seasonal events and dungeons such as our Halloween maze/haunted house held last month. We are also working on raids using the mythicmobs plugin. With McMMO you can train skills, and train/summon horses as well. Come check us out and join our awesome community! Server Rules: 1.) No bug exploitation or griefing. 2.) Be respectful of your fellow players that includes in chat and in discord. 3.) Each player can claim ONE plot of land. We are keeping close to vanilla minecraft, with only a few simple plugins for quality of life improvements. We love redstone here and encourage redstone building. If redstone isn't your thing, thats cool too. If you're a builder you can build on your own or join in on community projects. We have a creative zone inside this survival world, with a separate creative inventory. You can't bring anything out of the creative zone to survival and vice versa. We also love community feedback on how we could be better. The map has barely been explored and very few things built. You can find our DynMap here (you can even talk to us in game from the map if you wanted, though the chat clears quickly). The colored areas are claimed areas. You can make a home around Spawn Town if you like. Our Spawn location has portals to Spawn Town, different biomes, and a handful of other portals just to travel 100k or 200k in any of the 4 directions. No rules on where you want to base, just claim your land so others can't grief it. Player to Player economy? There is a bank in town where players may trade in their ores, diamonds, coal and quartz for money, which can then be traded to other players in exchange for items, or be used to purchase items from the player created shops. Of course you can always trade items instead of money, for that vanilla feel. Player shops? We make it simple with Shop. The simplest way is to just go to the second floor of our Spawn Town "Mall" and create one or more chest shops. We also have admin shops that sell basic items, but are priced in such a way that encourage player shops to undercut the admin shop. If you played any kind of raid server back in the day, you know what I mean. McPvP and Brawl dominated the scene when it came to competitive survival based raid, and the mode has been dying out ever since it's peak back in 2013 ~ 2015.Not that survival servers are ALL dead, but the kind I'm talking about aren't around anymore. I'm talking soup pvp, gold shop, teams, and all of the griefing and raiding action. I'm hoping to bring it back, because I remember it as my childhood and an extremely fun mode. Raid is similar to factions, but you can't claim land, and you can track players. Raid is like a more survival - based factions. However, that brings me to why the mode is dying. I believe the mode is dying because the pvp community is not going onto the new modes, making raid never change or have anything new or fresh. Well, I'm going to try to bring new and fresh to the table. I'm making my server in 1.14.4 with a plugin that stops hit cooldown, in order to bridge the gap between 1.8 and 1.14. Server IP: --------------------------- Unique Mechanics --------------------------- - Player Tracking You can do /track on a valid tracker, and if a player is in range, it will point in the direction of the player. If you want more info on tracking, log onto eticism and read the guide. - Gold as Money On eticism, you can smelt gold and do /deposit (amount) to use on the shop. On my server, there isn't a virtual currency, and you can get money just by mining. - Player Based Economy As stated in the previous point, this server uses gold as it's currency. You can do /buy or /sell to sell items, and aquire gold to buy even more items. In the future, I plan to update this plugin to have an gui, as for now it's commands only. - Griefable bases Many survival servers don't allow griefing, or have claim elements. I decided to go with plain vanilla, so that means you can't claim land. - 1.8 Style PvP If you've been in the minecraft pvp community for a while, you probably remember brawl.com or mcpvp. I'm attempting to recreate those servers, but in 1.14. I know a lot of people are turned off by the fact a survival pvp server could be in 1.14, but I installed a plugin that has 1.8 pvp That means that you can have all of the features of 1.14.4, but with 1.8 pvp mechanics. 1.8 pvp means there is no hit cooldown, to clarify. - Soup PvP Just like in times of old, you can use soups to heal yourself. You can craft soup using the classic brown mushrooms and red mushrooms, or with two cactus or cocoa beans. - Custom Crafts Unfortunately I disabled end cities, because they're too hard to balance, but I did make all of the end recipes craftable. Make your way under spawn, and you'll find how to craft all of the recipes. You can make shulker boxes, dragon heads, and all of the end city decor. - Teams You can team up with your friends to create powerful teams. | Project Monde [Semi-Vanilla] {Land Claim} Posted: 26 Nov 2019 04:34 PM PST Hello everyone. Project Monde's goal is to try and redefine land claiming servers all together and make it more interesting. Our Custom Plugins is what allows us to achieve this. In this server you are able to take land away from others and break blocks, but there is a catch to how this all works and it all makes sense. How to works is that you buy different levels of protection for your chunk, you use /buy [lv1/lv2/lv3] each level takes a different amount of resources to buy. When you use they command it will apply to the current chunk you are standing on. Lvl 1 protection offers a protection lvl of 25 which means others have to break a block 25 times before it actualy get destroyed. Each lvl increases in protection. You can also take chunks from others as well. You do this by breaking a certain amount of blocks on that chunk. So lvl 1 has a chunk durability of 50 meaning you need to break 50 blocks before that chunk becomes neutral and you can buy it. You can also trust people with your chunks/land using the /trust [username] and /untrust [username] command. I hope that explains how our plugin works. Another plugin we use is called Ore-Control, it allows you to set custom presets for how ores spawns. If you wanted to find gold you would go to a desert or if you wanted coal you would go to a swamp. Our other plugin MinecartSP lets us make minecarts up to 5 times faster. We do this so players are more likely to use them for transportation. I hope you under stand how this server works. We have around 30 whitelisted players. 15+ of those who are active everyday. The server is just reaching towards a month old, so we do have much more to do. It's essentially vanilla minecraft with a diamond economy. There are some teleport commands however they cost diamonds to use in order to ensure balance.
